The location was great. There was lots of activity in the evening. Felt very safe. Room was large and very comfortable with varied lighting, comfortable beds, pleasant light in the bathroom, and a good shower with lots of towels and shampoo, body wash, and lotion. I enjoyed breakfast in the restaurant. The pool looked lovely, but it was a little too cool to get excited about swimming....

Parking was an issue. We ended up valet parking for an additional $75 . We could have parked across the street in an open lot, or just a few steps down the street at the library public garage if we had realized how close we were. Would do one of those if we return for another stay. There was considerable "light leakage" around the shade in the bedroom, so the room never got totally dark - one of us was bothered by that.

Everything was wonderful. This hotel had a cool and friendly vibe and great location. The door people were wonderful, the service was great and always greeted with a smile. Would definitely stay here again!!

As a first time visitor to Nashville, One of the initial staff members at reception didn’t seem to have a depth of knowledge of things to see and places to go as well as attractions like the hop on and hop off bus. We asked the next staff member in the afternoon was very knowledgeable and helpful. There was also a strong smell from the pipes only in the shower for some reason. Not sure if it was a temporary drain issue because we discovered one of the stores in the area had a similar experience. We should’ve mentioned it and would definitely stay here again.

A fantastic and charming hotel just off Broadway in Nashville. The Room was fantastically laid out and very comfortable. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Lemon Drop Martini's for Happy Hour were a nice touch. Excellent Valet service. Alyssa the Bartender was awesome, and crafted some of the best drinks I have had in all my travels. Live Music contributed to the Nashville vibe. Holston House will be my Hotel of choice when visiting Nashville in the future!

We loved staying at the Holston House and will absolutely be returning next time we come to Nashville! It was the perfect location to walk to all the restaurants and shops on Broadway. Our room was very comfortable and clean with nice and spacious bathrooms. The staff was amazing! Flo was very friendly at check in and went above and beyond to help us have an amazing vacation! Their restaurant TENN was delicious and so convenient for our morning coffee. BONUS - they have drinks and snacks 24/7 in the front desk area. Very nice touch! see y'all next time!

It was so close to everything! We had never been to Nashville before, but this hotel was such an easy walk to anything we wanted to do. 15 mins to The Gultch shopping area, and then literally 2 minutes to Broadway. It was also decorated so cute but you can tell from the photos the character of this hotel. We went for my 21st and they were very accommodating when we called at six in the morning because our check-in person had the flu and we needed to change our check-in person. Staff was super nice & this was the cheapest hotel in the area for our stay too. When I come back to Nashville I’m definitely going to stay here.

The only thing I would say is it’s going to be loud outside of the hotel until late in the night! But that is expected at any hotel in this area. So if that is something that bothers you, I would book a hotel farther from downtown. & we came in the winter (Feb) so the pool was closed (we knew that from the website) but we were hoping the rooftop would still be open to take pictures but it wasn’t. That’s okay though

The Holston House is gorgeous, lovely lobby and bar area and the rooms are modern with a charm to them. The valet staff are super on it helping with bags, transport etc. The check-in area has a good range of essentials - waters, drinks, snack and cute Nashville themed gifts. The room had lovely furnishings, with a comfy bed and seating area to chill or have room service. Gorgeous spacious bathroom. The king room was a good size for a solo traveller. The hotel location is a block from Bridgestone Arena and two blocks from Fifth and Downtown, very close to all that downtown has to offer but not close enough that noise is an issue.

Wifi and mobile / cell service isn't great. It's an uphill walk from downtown for two blocks to the hotel.

Location was great, and the hotel beautiful. The onsite restaurant had delicious breakfast and the valet services were efficient and professional.

One of our beds did not have a blanket on it and after a cold night, we asked for a blanket to be added to the bed during housekeeping that they told us would occur in the am. When we returned to our room in the late afternoon, we found that it was never made up. When we let the front desk staff know and went out for dinner, they assured us it would be taken care of. When we returned at 10pm, the room still had not been tended to, and a folded blanket had been placed on top of the unmade bed.

The room was lovely, plenty of space and quiet (premier king). The shower was wonderful. The lobby is cool…love the decor. Try the breakfast or book with breakfast included…not your typical hotel breakfast! The food was fantastic. Our favorite was our final evening chilling in the bar. The bartender, Alyssa is super fun to chat with and she makes the most delicious, unique cocktails! Let her whip something up for you, I promise you won’t be sorry! It was the perfect way to end our long weekend ☺️

Cool lobby decor. I enjoyed a complimentary martini served on Friday afternoon right next to the record player. There was also the cutest hot chocolate bar set up nearby. The room was so comfortable and quiet. We were able to sleep in every day and had the room tended after we left the hotel at 11:00 am. The location was perfect!! So close to Broadway where it was walkable but far enough to be quiet at night. Lots of great food around the corner at Assembly Food Hall.

The parking was a little pricey $200 for three nights

The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. It's located a block off of Broadway and a short walk to bars, pubs, music and restaurants along the strip. Breakfast at the Tenn (inhouse restaurant) was very good.

The room was a little small (no room for a comfortable chair to relax in). It was located on the 7th street side of the building so there was a bit of street noise at night. Caution, valet parking or the parking lot across the street are $50+ per day, however, the "Library" public parking lot a short block to the north on 7th is $20 per day.
