We are from Indiana coming for a night to go to the colts Titan football game. We have never stayed so I wanted to visit The Union Station. From the moment we drove up we were greeted by valet service which is included in your stay. That was fabulous. It’s tough to find parking in downtown so this service was excellent to us. The fee hotel might stay is a little pricey but I didn’t know if it was because of the events going on in town that raised them, but we settled for the higher rate to be close to everything.. We had a very quick check in and the hotel lobby is breathtaking. The painting and architecture of the train station is pretty awesome! We eat dinner at the restaurant in the hotel. The Stationery. Very beautiful scenery, wrapped in glass to capture the downtown night life. Our meal was great. I recommend the King Salmon, delicious. Special cocktails hit the spot . There was live music in the lobby which is nice if you just wanted to sit, chill, kick back and enjoy the evening. They have a few restaurants and bars. Staff very accommodating! Our room was very clean, now this is my only complaint, our room air handlers were connected to the kitchen. So at times it smelled the steak charbroiled smell the entire night! Which is crazy to say but it did! Shower was stocked with your shampoos and conditioner in case you needed. Very nice room! Bed was very comfortable, I would stay again definitely, we love it! It’s so close to your night life bar scene, Uber or walk! I totally recommend to anyone coming to Nashville to stay.

Service at the bar was OK - but not great. Seemed to be only one experienced bar person and if he was not around it was all a bit hit and miss

We have stayed in the Union Station hotel many times in the past. It is in my humble opinion, the best place to stay in Nashville :-) it’s a grand old building, but still has a feeling of a boutique hotel. The stuff is very friendly and helpful. Regarding breakfast, a bit on the heavy side.

My only negative comment is that through booking.com we should’ve had breakfast included. When we arrived at the hotel, but turns out this was not the case. The staff was very friendly and resolved the question by cutting our breakfast bills in half. That works for me :-)

Breakfast was very good, plenty of choice. The hotel is in a great location to Bourbon street, less than 15 min walk. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. I should add, that we booked this hotel at 06.00 am in the morning because our original hotel was not great, we left that hotel at 07.00 am and drove straight to The Union Station, arrived at 07.10 am and they already had a room ready for us, I have to say they saved the start of our holiday and we went on to have a lovely time.

Shower caps and cotton balls were not provided which I was surprised at in such a high end hotel. I did travel around America during my 2 weeks and only 1 out of several places I stayed at provided such items.

I loved the décor and the atmosphere of the old timey building. There's abundance of hints that it really used to be a train station. Staff was friendly, accommodating, and eager to help. There's live music in the afternoon and evening, and you can hear it reverberate through the hallways, which was nice. At the bar in the hotel lobby, the flipboard chatters and displays hotel messages every now and then, and it really adds to the whole experience. Despite all this, the hotel didn't feel antiquated. My room was rather large although it wasn't a suite, and it even had a small outdoor yard/personal space. The bed was comfy and the pillows were on the larger side. The TV was plenty big and was on a perfect eye level, and I liked the fact that the room had a desk so that I can get some work done. I wouldn't mind staying here next time for longer or try the suite.

The switches in the room were from the past century, but the lamps and other things had abundance of outlets and USB charging ports so it was forgivable. AC was loud.

Location. My husband is a train fanatic!

Understaffed (not surprising today). Hallways and stairways had not been cleaned for a very long time (understaffed?) Parked our car valet and they had no one to get it out for us to leave. They called another hotel to have someone come get it for us. we had a second key and could see our car so we retrieved it, loaded our belongings and then waited to get our second key.

We like the proximity to the gulch 12South and dowtown

Our room was hot the high ceilings made it really hard to get the room temperature comfortable also our room had a large window that overlooked a patio/deck walk way so ppl walked past and could see right in our room very odd and not private also the room smelt damp you could tell it was an older facility probably would not stay again at that price, seemed very expensive for what we got. My husband and I came to Nashville during the CMA‘s unknowingly which explains price

Breakfast could have had a few more choices but other than that it was a perfect experience. Customer service was top notch.

The history and the architecture.

Bar costs are a bit much. Also the choice and volume of the entertainment was not in keeping with the atmosphere.

The history of the property was a huge draw. Absolutely beautiful and the room was comfortable and clean.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.
