The staff member that checked us in went out of her way to come outside to the driveway to explain the best parking level to park on, this was important because we had our dog with us. It's a very dog friendly hotel, treats at the front desk, dog bed in the room along with food and water bowls.

The hotel was difficult to find with GPS, the exterior of the building kinda hides the word 'Kimpton' and that was what we were looking for. The word Aertson was visible for the condo/apartment section of the building. We went past the actual hotel driveway twice! After a very long drive from Chicago, it was frustrating.

Location was great! Beds were comfortable and the rooms were well decorated and cozy. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Loved the self park or valet options. Having a spa on site is a great amenity.

Room was kind of warm overnight, we used the thermostat to turn down the AC, but it just wouldn't budge. While showering the water got insanely hot mid shower, we had to turn it off and back on to get the temperature right again.

Liz, the waitress in the hotel restaurant was phenomenal. We was professional, friendly, and didn't mind questions. She knew the food from the menu herself and could make knowable recommendations. Her communication skills arre exceptional.

I didn't like having to be on the 4th floor since we had three dogs.

Very clean rooms, comfortable baths and very nice walk in shower. We did hear some noise outside of our room at night but other than that, property felt safe, clean and staff were hospitable.

Parking garage is a bit hard to access despite being on same property.

Beautiful property in a great location. Staff was so friendly as most of our interactions with the people in Nashville.

Only negative was during our 5 night stay our room was only tidied up once. Although we were out and about most of the day, they weren’t able to get to our room until we were getting ready for our evening out.

The staff were incredible. They gave us so many good local tips and definitely enhanced our visit. The bar area was gorgeous and they made great cocktails. Our room was perfect too. Good size and very clean.

Stylish and clean

The rooftop pool wasn’t open when we were there, which was disappointing. It would have been nice if that was made clear somewhere while we were booking. The location is a short Uber ride away from the main strip but not walkable there.

Great location and loved the rooftop pool even though the weather wasn't the greatest during our stay.

The biggest con is the parking situation. I personally feel like I shouldn't be charged for parking if I'm a guest at a higher end hotel. I had to pay a flat rate for overnight parking ($35 I believe) and would have to pay again if I left more than once during the day. We were there for 4 days so that added up. It would be different if street parking were occasionally available but that clearly wasn't the case in this part of Nashville.

The high standard finish felt like a 5 start, not 4 star. The staff were extremely helpful and attentive. The valet staff gave added touches like opening doors.

Access to the pool closed earlier than advertised.

The breakfast was fabulous and the staff were exceptional. This is a luxurious property with wonderful comfort.
