I love all the hotels in the Valencia collection. The Lone Star Court is thoughtfully decorated and unbelievably comfortable. if you want a peaceful, comfortable, really enjoyable safe experience, stay here. This is the second Valencia property I've stayed at and I will always, always, always recommend it. Boutique luxury at its finest! Great for families, solo travelers, etc. This place is also next to the Domain which has TONS of shopping and restaurants. Awesome coffee food truck outside the hotel, along with two other fantastic food trucks I highly recommend.

The only downside to this hotel is if you need to go to an event in downtown Austin, you'll need to be prepared to Uber everywhere. If you don't mind, then you're good! I had to attend a wedding in downtown Austin and while it would have been more convenient to stay closer to downtown, you honestly cannot beat how amazing this hotel is and I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

The property is located in The Domain area so there is a ton of things to do around there in walking distance. Even though you’re in a highly populated area, you never hear the noise of traffic when you’re in the property. The courtyard area is fantastic and quaint. I highly recommend grabbing a drink and sitting outside by the fire pit in the evening. We really enjoyed our stay. The staff is friendly and welcoming.

The only thing I would’ve like better is the size of the beds. A full bed is tight when you’re sharing it with another adult. We were 3 women on a girls trip weekend so someone had to share a bed each night of our stay. A queen size bed would’ve been more comfortable.

It’s a vibe! From the background music, live entertainment, perfectly themed aesthetics, attention to detail, location, exceptional staff, large rooms, rocking chairs right outside your door, stocked fridge, I’m mean I could go on and on!!! Stay here! It’s perfect

You can hear everything. A group of teens staying above us were stomping all night. We reported it to the front desk and they spoke to the parents of the teens at check out. Wish they would’ve addressed it sooner. I had to work early in the morning so it made for a difficult work day.

The entire mood was Austin! Loved the decor and the ambiance.

The food at the restaurant was not that great. It was cold and swimming in BBQ sauce. The entire hotel had no TV service,so the room was extra noisy. You could hear the guy next door snoring all night, people running up and down the stairs, walking in the room above you. I didn’t get any sleep. I would recommend if this happens again. Install smart TVs. Or maybe provide a small fan to drown out the outside noise. I wasn’t told the TV was out by the front desk when I checked in. Had I known I could have driven and purchased a small fan.

This place is really nice and right in the middle of everything, like an oasis. From the nightly music and roaring fire pits, we had a good time. It was 95 degrees during our stay and the A/C blew cold, that's a HUGE thing for us, I love to sleep like an Eskimo. The vibe is very chill from the employees to the quests, everyone was just in good spirits all weekend.

I'm not going to dock any stars for this but parking is pretty tight, especially if you have a big Truck or SUV and it's after 8pm.

WE kept sleeping late, so didn't have breakfast there. Loved the layout, with pool and patio and trees and landscaping in the central area. Very pleasant. Campfires delightful. Relaxing.

Noisy leaf blower one morning and noisy laundry carts on wooden decks on mornings when we slept late. It also would be nice if there was a way to keep the door open for some fresh air; we used a table.

Loved the rockers outside on the deck and the fire pits in the courtyard. The bed was comfortable. We had a peaceful stay and did not have issues with noise as we expected based on other reviews.

Would like an extra blanket for the bed to be available in the room; it was cold during our stay. Also, throw blankets to bring out to the rockers would be nice during the cooler months.

Very nice, charming boutique hotel right in the Domain in Austin. Great location, great look & feel of the hotel. Very unique-looking rooms which have everything you need, including ice in the freezer. The on-site restaurant was also very good (even had vegan options!). Nice pool area, also great that they light firepits at night, nice cosy feeling.

It is a bit noisy… As all the rooms go out to the atrium you can hear people talk etc. at night. Also, when people go back to their rooms and walk past yours, you hear them talking quite loudly (because the window goes out to the atrium/walkway and you can hear the cleaning staff roll on the boardwalk with their carts in the morning. Same with people rolling their suitcases along the boardwalk. This is not terrible but it might bother people who are sensitive to noise. Price is also a bit high, considering breakfast is not included. I appreciate that this is a special boutique hotel but still found the price a little too high overall.

All the staff were super helpful. The room was large and the grounds were really in tune with Texas-style. Open fires, a pool, games... the bar had live music on the weekends. All round great atmosphere.

This property is such a joy to visit! Staff go out of their way to make guests comfortable. There are many outdoor areas to enjoy including rockers outside rooms. Great restaurant on site and food trucks close by. We had a great time and look forward to visiting again.
