Breakfast was not good at all

1.ALL the staff was TOP NOTCH!! 2.The hotel is fairly new so was in great condition (i.e. no moldy smells, no carpet stains). 3.The balcony view room was indeed a great view and a big balcony too. 4.Television channel options were many. 5.Good breakfast choices. 6.Ample parking. 7.Great price for the room. 8.Good bar.

I mean, if anything at all, the elevators were slow. It WAS a sold out weekend so the 2 elevators ran a bit slow. We had to wait in line 2 or 3 times.

It was a great location. Staff was amazing. Food was good.

We asked for (ocean view room). Our room faced west so to see the water, we had to go out on the balcony and look left. I requested a better room but the manager just flatly refused even for our second night. She refused even a partial refund. Totality unwilling to do anything. I later talked to one of the front desk girls who was VERY HELPFUL. She explained how the single building is actually two hotels and next time make sure I get (Home2) instead of (Tru). Tru only has a few rooms facing south and they are hard to get. The manager could have explained that even though it didn’t change my disappointment in the room I had to stay in. Other than that, we had a great time.

We loved the breakfast area. So many places to sit & peacefully drink your coffee & eat breakfast. We liked the updated/ modern feel of the hotel. The location was great! We could easily walk from the hotel to get food or ice cream & we did! I had leftovers & they provided a microwave in the lobby, along with snacks & drinks. The beds were comfortable & Netflix & Disney Channel were available to login to if you had an account. Wi-Fi worked. We will definitely be back!

The elevators were extremely slow. The water in the sink had a sewer smell to it sometimes. The condensation from the AC was making puddles of water on the ground. Eggs are powdered. Coffee wasn't unavailable in the room, you had to go downstairs to get it.

The breakfast was great. The hotel was immaculate and considering the number of kids and families that must move through the halls, it is extremely impressive. We needed some extras delivered to our rooms, towels and blankets, service was extremely fast.

The only struggle was that elevator! There was an elevator that wasn't operable the entire trip. So, one elevator with guest luggage, beach supplies, and the staff trying to do their jobs, it was just terrible. Also, I don't recall being told about the parking fee. I think that should be called out a bit more when booking

The entire hotel was kept exceptionally clean. I was impressed that staff was always cleaning something. The front desk people were very helpful. We had our parking pass blow out of the car twice and they replaced it both times with no problems. We locked our keys in the room another time and they were happy to provide new ones. Finally, when we made a mistake in our reservation, we were able to get our same room for another night.

We had trouble with the television. There weren't many stations to choose from and the stations we watched the most were the ones we would we would lose connection with. I complained several times and was assured that maintenance would fix it, but we never saw anyone. We finally did a reset ourselves and it temporarily helped the situation.

Location and the public area. Breakfast was good.

The room was quite small and no closet space. We spent 3 night and our room was never cleaned or bed made. Few towels.

Loved the location, the hotel was nice and clean and smelled great when you first walked inside.

The only thing is the fact that there was only one elevator for so many people. It was a ridiculously long wait for an elevator to take you up to your room or for you to come down to the first floor. We heard from someone that the elevator has been down for some time. That should be unacceptable for your facility. For you to have that many people and not have that situation fixed is not good for your customers

Hotel was easy to get in and out of, being a smaller volume hotel. Parking was right there on site and easy to get in and out of. The breakfast area was wide open and easy to navigate and serve a large volume of people. Plenty of seating.

I wasn't happy there was an extra charge for parking when it was an open surface lot verses a gated garage. It was a reasonable cost, $10 per night, but an extra cost none-the-less for what is really a small room, value hotel. Not exactly a great value, but a nice hotel and comfortable stay either way.

The customer service of the young ladies show the customer with a smile, kindness and helpful. Tru by Hilton was right place for us was very clean got what I ask for excellent location. we had a amazing time that we wish we had a longer time to stay. we visited Galveston we celebrated our 33rd wedding Anniversary. we will definitely come back for our next Anniversary. I recommend Tru by Hilton is the place to stay. I thank y'all so much!! 💓
