I loved the hotel—the interior, the atmosphere, and the cleanliness, even in the poolside restroom. I also love how the staff are consistently friendly and engaging—not just sometimes, but all the time. Hands down, excellent hospitality service- world class!

I would have rated it a 10 if the room had a microwave. We have a young child, so we constantly need to heat up milk and snacks. I may have overlooked the amenities listed on the booking page because I assumed a microwave would be standard. It’s something we consider essential when traveling as a family.

Large room with balcony. Clean. Bathroom double sinks was beautiful with door between shower/toilet so multiple people can get ready at the same time. Comfortable bed. Lots of seating. Restaurant Zeppole good, but also pricey. Staff very nice

No kitchenette for a room of that size, hard to believe for the price paid, no microwave! And the smallest mini fridge under the T.V in the bedroom- why wouldn't it be in main living room area w dining table? Unable to find it, and when we did, it was tiny. Other hotels of cheaper price point offer more in room amenities.

Very impressive resort with every amenity imaginable. The atrium area is amazing in both the atmosphere and size. Theming to match the Texas location is excellent. We really enjoyed dining at the Old Hickory steakhouse and Zeppole. We attended a convention at the attached expo center. Beautiful decor throughout the resort, including the convention center. The resort is also easily accessible from both major Dallas airports, and there is plenty to do in the surrounding communities such as Grapevine and it’s wonderful main street shops.

Breakfast options and operations. I went to the Market Place restaurant or coffee shop was a horrible experience. It was as bad as getting registered at a city or county hospital.

The property was very nicely and seasonally decorated. Check-in staff and porters were particularly courteous. The restaurant at which we had dinner was nice with attentive and responsive staff. The venue is felicitous and the staff congenial.

Cost of a night’s stay is somewhat prohibitive. While the property has many attractions, some of which are at cost, the quality of the room and general expenses did not adequately compensate the visitor for his/her expense.

We liked the ample and spectacular display of Christmas decorations, piped music which transformed the Gaylord Texan Resort into a wonderland! The children-friendly themed events were lovely for the wee ones; and it was great to see generations of families flocked together to celebrate the holidays and engaged in the array of activities. We also enjoyed the spell-binding display of talent from Cirque du Soleil in the Glass Cactus Building. Thankfully, we had a room away from the atrium where the action was at its height so we were able to enjoy great rest and relaxation en suite!! The proximity to Grapevine CIty was a bonus since it truly goes all out for Christmas! We spent lots of time admiring the different Christmas decor and enjoying the street concerts, outdoor skating, the sumptuous eateries and the North Pole Express! That was another highlight of our stay! For the shoppers, the Grapevine Mall has it all! The property is also has a small walking track for quite walks and some scenery and water views for solitary moments!

The crowds could be a bit overwhelming and this put a strain on the limited restaurant capacity and food outlets. The wait for room service also made it not an appetizing option. Due to the time of year, reservations were in short supply, but we enjoyed exploring an array of options in Historic Grapevine City. It would have made our stay more enjoyable to have had more live entertainment at night and planned activities on site for older patrons. Water pressure in the shower was underwhelming...We were on the 8th floor!

We loved everything! The location is close to DFW, the rooms were clean and spacious, and the entire hotel is family-friendly. There were plenty of activities for kids, couples, and families to do together. There are plenty of restaurants and shops. The staff were great and the water park was bonus!

All that they offer during the Christmas season! We love Gaylord! This is our second time here during Christmas and our children loved it! Just like the first time we came in 2017!

Wish they had more than one or two drawers to put clothes in. They have lots of hangers so we made it work but that was a shock when I first arrived.

It's a nice place and the breakfast was great.

The room was very small. They nickel and dime you for everything. $29 per day for self park. Charged my card over $100 for breakfast even though it was prepaid with the reservation. It took several tries to get through their automated phone system to get that resolved.

The ambiance was exquisite, the staff were helpful and direct.

The check in time was a late time @ 4pm and things such as indoor pool close at 8pm and most restaurants close at 9pm. You will have to stay more than one day to get your money’s worth of time. Overall, it was a good experience but I did feel rushed.
