This place is simply amazing!! It is obvious the owners, a husband and wife team, put their hearts and souls into this place. We felt the hospitality the moment we arrived. The husband moved his car and offered me his parking space! The room was VERY clean and nicely decorated. There were free cookies, candids, coffee, tea, and WINE!! The breakfast was fresh made and table served by Lana(owner) each day. We had fresh fruits, Egg Benedict, and fried potatoes on our first day and Creme Brulee French Toast the next day all made with top grade ingredients. The setting, service, food, and beverages were all A++. We will no doubt be back!!

We ate three breakfasts and they were all delicious and well presented. After the first one we looked forward to what we would have the next day. Loved the chocolate chip cookies everyday. Lots of areas just to sit and enjoy, both inside and outside. Really liked the updated and clean accommodations. All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We were very pleased.

Can't think of anything we did not like.

Wonderful place to stay, extremely clean and comfortable. Felt very safe, the breakfast was amazing and the groundskeeper was very nice, highly recommend.

I don’t really have any things we didn’t like, if you want to sleep in I would suggesting asking for a room farther from the kitchen, ours was the closest and it was loud in the morning but other than that it was great, and it didn’t bother us as we are early risers.

The owner Lana has made our stay the most amazing experience ever. The breakfast was fantastic and varied over the course of our stay to our surprise. Each morning we were welcomed with a lovely made dish, something sweet, something salty, something fruity. Besides that, we go some recommendations for the local area and really felt like being at a friends house, feeling like home. We will definitly come back next year and extend our stay in the Steamboat Inn. Thanks Lana, for your warmth welcome and support 😊

Beautifully decorated older home. Great amenities like always available Chocolate Chip cookies, teas, coffee and a glass of wine in the evening. The Green Room was large with a comfortable king size bed and YouTube TV. Breakfast was delicious. French Toast one morning and egg baskets the next. Great location near enough to bars, restaurants and downtown to walk.

Handicapped persons need to negotiate 3 steps to the front porch.

Alex, Lana and David are great hosts. Alex met us at the gate when we arrived, gave us a great welcome and tour of the house and with Lana and David made our stay the best experience we have ever had at a B and B. The house is magnificent and the breakfast is exceptional. Jefferson is a great town, you will enjoy your visit especially if you stay at the Steamboat Inn.

As a European guy we are used to good quality. This Inn was absolutely exceptional. The breakfast with the little orange flavor beignet plus the quiche was even better than in France. Just arrive and enjoy diving into a new experience of B&B. You’ll only find something like that outside the tourist attraction in Europe!

Property was in a great location and was very beautiful! They had amazing chocolate chip cookies for guest anytime! It is even more beautiful than the pics and is about 1/2 mile from Jefferson shops! Very nice manager and owners and you could tell they aim to please guests!

No complaints

The property was gorgeous,inside and out! Our room was lovely! All the charm of an older era with all the modern conveniences such as A/C, a small refrigerator in the room, a ceiling fan and portable fan, flat screen TV with Netflix, Wi-Fi, blow dryer and shower (included with tub).  The  proprietor, offered complementary fresh baked chocolate chip cookies, hot coffee, and a bottle of wine in the foyer, to help ourselves whenever we wanted. 

I can’t think of anything that we didn’t like! 

The Steamboat Inn was a delightful respite at the end of a long day of driving. The room and facilities were very clean and comfortable. David greeted us upon our arrival and provided great information about the Inn, our room, plans for breakfast, and places to eat within walking distance. His recommendations were most appreciated. Later in the evening, we had a very enjoyable visit with the owner. A delicious breakfast was an added bonus. Many thanks for making our stay so special.

Can't think of a thing that I would change. It was a wonderful, but too brief stay.
