This place is simply amazing!! It is obvious the owners, a husband and wife team, put their hearts and souls into this place. We felt the hospitality the moment we arrived. The husband moved his car and offered me his parking space! The room was VERY clean and nicely decorated. There were free cookies, candids, coffee, tea, and WINE!! The breakfast was fresh made and table served by Lana(owner) each day. We had fresh fruits, Egg Benedict, and fried potatoes on our first day and Creme Brulee French Toast the next day all made with top grade ingredients. The setting, service, food, and beverages were all A++. We will no doubt be back!!

The owner Lana has made our stay the most amazing experience ever. The breakfast was fantastic and varied over the course of our stay to our surprise. Each morning we were welcomed with a lovely made dish, something sweet, something salty, something fruity. Besides that, we go some recommendations for the local area and really felt like being at a friends house, feeling like home. We will definitly come back next year and extend our stay in the Steamboat Inn. Thanks Lana, for your warmth welcome and support 😊

Wonderful place to stay, extremely clean and comfortable. Felt very safe, the breakfast was amazing and the groundskeeper was very nice, highly recommend.

I don’t really have any things we didn’t like, if you want to sleep in I would suggesting asking for a room farther from the kitchen, ours was the closest and it was loud in the morning but other than that it was great, and it didn’t bother us as we are early risers.

Beautifully decorated older home. Great amenities like always available Chocolate Chip cookies, teas, coffee and a glass of wine in the evening. The Green Room was large with a comfortable king size bed and YouTube TV. Breakfast was delicious. French Toast one morning and egg baskets the next. Great location near enough to bars, restaurants and downtown to walk.

Handicapped persons need to negotiate 3 steps to the front porch.

Alex, Lana and David are great hosts. Alex met us at the gate when we arrived, gave us a great welcome and tour of the house and with Lana and David made our stay the best experience we have ever had at a B and B. The house is magnificent and the breakfast is exceptional. Jefferson is a great town, you will enjoy your visit especially if you stay at the Steamboat Inn.

The property was gorgeous,inside and out! Our room was lovely! All the charm of an older era with all the modern conveniences such as A/C, a small refrigerator in the room, a ceiling fan and portable fan, flat screen TV with Netflix, Wi-Fi, blow dryer and shower (included with tub).  The  proprietor, offered complementary fresh baked chocolate chip cookies, hot coffee, and a bottle of wine in the foyer, to help ourselves whenever we wanted. 

I can’t think of anything that we didn’t like! 

The Steamboat Inn was a delightful respite at the end of a long day of driving. The room and facilities were very clean and comfortable. David greeted us upon our arrival and provided great information about the Inn, our room, plans for breakfast, and places to eat within walking distance. His recommendations were most appreciated. Later in the evening, we had a very enjoyable visit with the owner. A delicious breakfast was an added bonus. Many thanks for making our stay so special.

Can't think of a thing that I would change. It was a wonderful, but too brief stay.

Not our first stay at the Steamboat Inn. As previously, we were personally greeted and welcomed to the property by the owners Lana and Alex. Great people who are ready to make your stay as comfortable as possible and update you on current things to do in the area. The Inn was clean and accommodating. The breakfasts were outstanding and enjoyed conversation with Dave with some wine around the firepit on our last evening.

There is nothing we did not enjoy about our stay. Everything was great.

The Steamboat Inn is the most extraordinary hotel that I've come across as a well-traveled swiss journalist in recent years. The rooms in the Victorian-style guest house are lovingly furnished, from the breakfast table to the four-poster bed. I will never forget my hostess Lana and will certainly return to the Steamboat Inn!

The house was absolutely gorgeous! We were welcomed by the owner & the house manager immediately on arrival. Were shown to our room, and asked if we needed anything. We were not the only people staying there, but we never heard any noises from the other guest, very quiet the entire weekend. The breakfast each morning was delicious & prepared by the very lovely owner each morning. It was beautifully prepared and presented to use at our table.

Really there was nothing we didnt like. The entire weekend stay was fantastic!
