The rooms were exceptionally clean, the mattress was comfortable, the renovations were done very well. The Uber driver had a difficult time finding it because of the name change no reflected on the maps... that cost me a lot more we searched for the hotel. The address given also conflicted with Google Maps... which the driver was using... I used a different map to help him find the correct location.

Everything inside the hotel was great... including the staff. The second day, I was offered a full breakfast (free with the room) but had to head to the airport... so had to decline. The only negative was the STRONG exception of the location... nothing to eat within walking distance... and the walk was in a filthy area... and crossing with the lights, walk sign, etc., was still hairy. Had I not been VERY careful, I would have been hit three times as I used four different cross walks in my attempt to find a place to eat (gave up on that). The one restaurant, adjacent to the hotel, was newly renovated and looked nice but after seeing the menu... I ended up skipping lunch... not that it wouldn't hurt me to miss a meal or two.

I spoke with the staff about my food allergies and they were so kind and helpful in looking at ingredients and seeing what I could and couldn't eat at the (hot!) breakfast bar, it was really refreshing! I don't drink coffee, but my husband loved the coffee they has in the self-serve coffee pot doodad! Most especially though the staff were just fantastic- professional, freindly, and helpful! There is also a delicious restaurant next door as a nice bonus! (The staff there were also great about working around my food allergies, btw!)

At first I wished I'd found a hotel a little closer to the conference center (I was in town for a conference), but after the wonderful service we got, I didn't mind that one bit.

Very clean and recently updated room. Room floors not carpeted so felt cleaner than carpeted ones. Bed was comfortable and housekeeping services were excellent! Liked the bathroom light switches with built in nightlights. Breakfast choices included scrambled eggs and protein (sausage links or patties).

The laundry room dryer (right side) didn't appear to be working properly. Had a medium load of clothes in dryer for 30 mins and after cycle all of the clothing still felt very damp. Had to hang clothes in room afterwards because didn't think another $3 cycle would dry them adequately. I was told by front desk that the left side dryer is better but is was being used when my wash load finished. If the hotel is aware of this deficiency, they need to fix the problem.

The location provides easy access to the freeways and downtown. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good, with healthy choices.

The smoke alarms went off in the middle of the night, interrupting our sleep. Upon check out the manager apologized and explained that someone had propped open an outside door and was smoking in the doorway, which set off the smoke alarm system. I told the manager that I think he handled it appropriately, and that we can't control other's behavior, even with the information in the sign in documents and clearly posted signs.

Great breakfast options including eggs, sausage, waffles, yogurt, cereal, toast, etc. Spacious, updated rooms had all of the amenities you would need including a fridge and microwave. Fitness center appears to have brand new equipment - lots of space and enough options for a workout on the road.

Our room faced the freeway, so we had a bit of traffic noise, but it would likely only impact a light sleeper. The curtains did not block out a strip of light along the bottom, but a sleep mask takes care of that. The area did not appear to have a lot of dining options nearby.

Room was recently renovated. Everything appeared to be fairly new and clean. The room layout and furnishings were efficient, spacious, modern looking and appealing. It's really one of my best hotel experience in the U.S. I'd highly recommend this place as long as it keeps up the good work. Breakfast room female staff was exceptionally friendly and hard working. And what a surprise to have such nice free breakfast at a budget hotel! All in all, I truly enjoyed my 2 nights stay at this facility! Highly recommended!

Comfortable beds , more choices for breakfast stuff to eat , it was clean looking and plenty of outlets to charge ur electronics ! The only thing I would recommend is that ladies if on monthly bring your own blanket under you so u protect there Linen cuz there whole bedding is white ,but I'm also type that brings my own blankets and pillows too so I sleep on top of there stuff

Not enough soap or toilet paper and white bedding ( white bedding g gets dirty so quick , I get it make it look clean and crisp and I really hoping the maids do strip the beds down and put new linen on b4 the next guest )

We stayed in an updated room and we were very happy with it! The updates were well done and gave it a fun, modern vibe. The rooms were a great size and we loved the oversized "kitchenette" which was perfect for packing lunches to explore all Salt Lake City and Utah has to offer. There's an off leash dog park right across the street which was very nice to let our dog out in the morning and before bed. There were a number of breweries/pubs with dog friendly patios within walking distance to grab a quick bite and a drink after a long day hiking/biking/trail running.

The hotel is right off the highway so there can be quite a bit of traffic. We were disappointed that the pool and hottub were closed for renovation while we were there but if they are done as well as the rest of the motel it will be worth it!

Clean bathroom, comfortable mattress (not an easy thing to find in a hotel), wonderful staff (shout out to Lydia for the great food and clean eating area)! Terrific value! Definitely would stay there again!

If you want a pool, it’s not available right now. It wasn’t important to us, especially when everything else was great!

The room and property were clean. The staff was friendly. The AC worked great. We loved the breakfast, so many options!

The pool was empty!!! One of the reasons we chose this location was because there is a pool. Also, our door mechanism was loose, and the door wouldn't close properly. We call the front desk, but no one was available to check the door. Luckly, we had a tool kit in the car, so my husband was able to tighten the plate on the door.
