Comfy bed, not too hard or soft. Nice thick pillows, not the usual hotel flat useless things you have to pile up. Didn't get to stay for breakfast because I had to leave at 430 but saw them setting it out and it looked good. Very quiet and clean. Lots of towels even though I was the only one in the room (Which came in handy bc I accidentally spilled water on the floor). Helpful staff. Not too far from Lynchburg and well cheaper than most hotels actually in Lynchburg, that's why I stayed there.

Despite having 24 hour staff, they don't do wake up calls. I know people have cell phone alarms, but there are some people (like me) who can use the extra assurance especially when you have to get up on time and are prone to sleeping through very early alarms. Also the toilet had next to no water pressure. IDK if that was an environmental thing or what, but you had to flush 3 or four times each time to get it to flush away the waste.

I was so super impressed with the cleanliness of the whole hotel. I was a little apprehensive because of the price, but I was wrong. From the ceilings to the baseboards, not a spot was even a little dusty. The room was spacious, with comfortable seating, and had a microwave and mini fridge as well. I thought the hotel would be noisy as it was sold out for graduation, but we didn't hear anyone. The staff was super friendly and welcoming as well. The breakfast was nice. It wasn't super big, but I wasn't expecting a huge spread; it was a nice continental breakfast. They had good coffee, hot choices, a make-your-own waffle station, yogurt, and oatmeal. The sitting area for breakfast was really nice, with the sun shining through the windows and many places to sit. The hotel was straightforward to get to: it was a little less than 30 minutes straight down Highway 29 from Lynchburg.

The showerhead needed to be replaced, and the toilet was loud when flushed. It's not a deal breaker, but I would have loved it if they had a pool.

Surprisingly, though it was a busy night, it was quiet there. The bed was pretty comfortable. The room was bigger than I had anticipated and it was clean. Eggs, sausage, biscuits, and gravy were available, in addition to the usual cereal, fruit, toast, and waffles, etc. The staff all throughout were friendly. And, they're pet friendly-a a definite plus.

They didn't have hardly any milk available but things like that can easily happen, so it wasn't a game changer. The parking lot could use a few more spaces and perhaps a rail on the one side, where the land kinda drops off.

Free breakfast was excellent. Lots of variety, foods prepared well, very tasty and trays of food or beverages never empty as in some inclusive breakfasts at hotels. All areas if hotel very clean. Very nicely decorated & furnished. Staff very nice, attentive and helpful. We had a room on the back of the hotel with woods behind us and it was beautiful w/fall colors, private and quiet.

Mattresses on beds way too soft to be comfortable for my liking. I would give the Days Inn at Altavista 10 stars except that I did not get a good nights sleep due to the soft mattress. Mattresses seemed to be of good quality, but not suited for me.

The location of this hotel was very convenient and the facilities are very nice. But what we liked the most were the staff. When we arrived, Trish, the person on duty at the desk, was superb and very friendly. And the next morning, Angelina was also extremely helpful and friendly. We also met Raj, the owner/manager, was also so very friendly and welcoming. We felt very safe at this hotel and really valued for our presence. We highly recommend this hotel if you are traveling through this area. They also easily gave us a late check-out which was a big help to us.

The Wi-Fi could have been better, but for a quick overnight stay, it was adequate.

This was a quiet little Days Inn in a little town. The staff was great and very accommodating. Very clean and comfortable and great value

The eggs were dried out about a hour before breakfast was over but to the staffs defense I didn't ask for any fresh eggs either. So I don't hold it against them for wanting to keep waste down

I was in town for a Professional fishing tournament and usually dealing with hotels is added stress! However that was not the case! The staff was amazing, the room was very comfortable, and the location was close to everything but far enough away to be a quiet area!

The plants! The staff is so diligent at performing their duties, it was a joy to see so many thriving plants through the first floor. Everything was very clean, the grounds, the lobby and my room.

When we first arrived, the power was out because of a car wreck...we couldnt check in for an hour, and were tired. I booked online, and the picture looked like it had a jacuzzi in the room....I sent a message asking if it was definitely a jacuzzi, being it was valentine's weekend and that is what I was looking for. They never responded, so I just assumed it was. Turned out to be a small tub with jets. Not at all what I was expecting. the photo made it look much larger. everything else was great.
