The parking situation for Charlottesville was reasonably priced and very convenient. I have a parent being treated at UVA. The staff was so professional, kind and accommodating. That meant a great deal to us during a stressful time for the family.

Our room was clean, but the toilet and shower area looks tired. The grout was clumpy with a touch of mildew hiding beneath it and there were a few cracked floor tiles. Because it was clean, it was easy to overlook.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Food was ok, but it may have just been what I ordered. Otherwise, the area was clean and again, staff was courteous and accommodating.

Overall, everything was really good. We did have to pay for parking in their garage. That was a new one for me. We will have to travel back to Charlottesville for medical services, so we would consider staying there again.

I paid extra for the "free" breakfast when I made my reservation online. However, when I inquired about it, they said I didn't get free breakfast. I showed them my email confirmation that said I did have breakfast included and then they allowed it. There wasn't a huge selection but what we did order was good.

I didn't love that I had to pay extra for parking. It was also a little loud being next to the hospital. We did hear ambulances sometimes. Also, the a/c and heat "machine" was very loud.

The property was in walking distance of UVA medical center. Shops and restaurants were steps away. Staff was very accommodating.

We had a difficult time finding the property because of the small signage on the main roadway. We were a little confused with the main entrance being on the side street.

The rooms are very spacious and clean. The staff is very helpful and the location is excellent for UVA and the UVA Hospital.

We came to Charlottesville because I had a doctor's appointment downtown. I wanted a hotel close enough within walking distance. This location was perfect.

Never have I had to pay for parking at the hotel I was staying at for the night. This is a negative as far as using the Marriott again. Being a senior citizen, the Marriott should take this into consideration.

We were interested in walking the UVA campus, and this location was great. Good coffee and food options nearby. We were able to do all that we wanted to by walking.

We had no issues.

Little Things.. but have to remember this is a Courtyard.. not the J W Marriott

My father had an early doctors appointment, therefore, we couldn’t work in a quick breakfast but I’m sure it would have been great. I’m very familiar with the breakfast selections at Courtyard.

It was a very long walk from the parking deck to the handicap accessible room for my 87 yr old father on a walker and I didn’t recall a place to park outside near the front desk/lobby area to have enabled me to make the trip to the room shorter.

Location is very good . The handyman repaired something in our room very quickly and was quite helpful.

The room was not cleaned daily but perhaps we could have requested it. The towels were replaced though every day .
