Since we normally stay in hotels it took a little time to adjust to the low lit, soft lighting & antique setting. After we adjusted and reset our minds took notice of many sweet details. it took us back in time. The lighting fixtures, attention to treasured antiques, transome windows, silver and china. The location was perfect for strolls along Market Square. The staff was very pleasantly attentive and helpful. Thanks you.

This was a fantastic stay! The entire staff was extremely friendly and helpful, but particularly Candace, the owner. Breakfast was delicious and filling, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious. It's a very quick walk to the main drag of Charlottesville and there's parking available at the inn. Truly, it was a fantastic stay and we can't wait to come back.

I really thought everything was great.

Perfect location two blocks from downtown mall. Well maintained historic homes. The Inn was the best part of the trip. Loved the food, the decorating in the houses and the owner and staff.

One minor item. The lighting in the bathroom needs a boost. My wife also recommends a magnify mirror. We will be back any time we need accommodations in Charlottesville.

Beautifully decorated, you get a sense of what this oldest house in Charlottesville would have looked liked. Candice/Owner was very informative and welcoming. We felt like we were visiting her home. She served us There were drinks and pastries upon arrival. Manager /Pastry chef Pat is gracious and warm.

The Inn was PERFECT; beautifully decorated, phenomenal breakfast, and location excellent!! The mall was couple blocks away. The wineries and Monticello were within a couple miles. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. Definitely will return and spread the word!!

Amazingly friendly and attentive staff, great location, beautifully decorated and delicious breakfast/snacks/beverages.

I couldn’t find a hairdryer anywhere although I should have asked the staff. Our tub/shower took a while to drain and turned into more of a bower.

I think the room I was in should have a walk-in shower versus the very high jacuzzi bathtub. This room seemed crowded and stepping and out of that very high tub was tricky. This could be trouble for people with mobility issues.

The owners and staff was unbelievably attentive and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. The rooms were beautiful and eclectic. And the location was great, with lots to see and do within walking distance. Also the off-street free parking was very helpful.

Very cool old inn right in the heart of town. Plenty of stuff to do in walking distance. Everyone on staff was super friendly and the breakfast in the morning was delicious. Just wish we could have stayed longer.

Wonderful friendly team with a personal touch from the owner who is on site with a lot of lovely little touches. Fabulous breakfast and close to everything.
