The facility is always clean and the beds are comfortable. There is a very nice breakfast and the workout room was adequate. The location is convenient and the staff friendly.

There were no towels in the work out room this time and the filtered water dispenser was dispensing lukewarm water. Also, I wish they would stop asking "what's the reason for your stay?" every time I check in. It's invasive and uncomfortable.

It was near one of our stops on our vacation. The place looked well maintained and clean was our first impression. Check-in staff was exceptional…very friendly and helpful. They even helped up with suggestions on dinner for the night.

Only that the traffic was bad but it’s to be expected near a college and likely was around time for college to start a semester.

Location -close to UVA Hospital. Beds were very comfortable. Room was very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast bar was very nice (with the exception of the egg dishes). The staff kept it super clean.

We had a lovely spacious room with a pleasant view and our stay was great from the moment we arrived. The staff at check in were super kind and welcoming and it was an easy walk from the Amtrak station. The breakfast included was simple but good (especially waffles on the weekend) and it was impressive having gym and pool facilities too. We'd certainly return on another visit.

As a pedestrian, it wasn't easy to find the front door!

Breakfast was very good and hot. Location was good and close to UVA where my husband was having surgery.

I wished we were told that there was a hospital discount when making our reservation the first night. We extended our stay several times and eventually figured out about the discount. When we asked would they apply the discount to our first few nights they would not do that and said it needed to be stated at booking. That was very discouraging since we stayed a total of 9 nights.

The staff were fantastic!! Good breakfast. Localization walk distance to downtown.

To use the minibar, you need to press a button every 2 hours. No, this is not a joke. It's real. If you plan on buying any food/snacks to put in the minibar, forget it.

The staff was exceptionally friendly both to myself and when I overheard their interactions with other customers. The gym had a variety of fitness equipment, including ellipticals, treadmills, and weights. There was a nice assortment of both fresh cooked food and fresh fruit along with cereal and yogurt at the breakfast buffet. Lots of space and easy access in their garage.

They need better curtains in the rooms. I had a first-floor room along the street and I don't feel that the sheer curtains provided enough privacy between me and the trucks stopped at the traffic light. I ended up getting dressed in the bathroom.

I like everything about this location. The hotel was very clean and had everything you could need. The staff members were able to tell us about the hotel and anything that helped us maneuver around the hotel. We appreciated how friendly they were.

I didn't find anything I didn't like, the facility was very clean, inside and out.

Excellent, spacious room with 2 queen beds which were supremely comfortable. Great pillows too. New and sparkling bathroom with a spacious vanity bench and shelves, hooks etc. Terrific breakfast was included and had plenty of variety from bananas, fresh-cut fruits chunks, yoghurts, oats and cereals with multiple topping choices , breads, bagels, toasts and spreads, and hot selections too, such as 2 types of egg, bacon, hand rolls or quiches, plus tea/coffee bar. There was some variation each day as well. Breakfast staff were very friendly and obliging too, and regularly checked and topped up food items.

Lack of food choices in the vicinity. Many restaurants in the Downtown mall but by 8.30 when we arrived, there was only a pizza place. Other more formal restaurants were close to closing. Also no diners or delis close by where we could buy meals to heat in our microwave. instant noodles only thing available.

It was a great location, one of us walked from the hotel to go downtown and to the university. The staff were friendly and hospitable, accommodating us with an extra blanket when asked. The room was very clean, comfortable, and modern. We really liked the size of the TV. It was very quiet there as well despite being a fairly busy hotel. The parking garage underneath was a good additional perk.
