The hotel is very easy to find, with a big parking. We appreciate the pool. There was a fridge, microwave, and coffemaker in our room. The staff was very kind and helpful. As my partner forgot his phone in the room, they found it and had it ready for us when we came back to pick it up. Breakfast was tasty and rich. The hotel is close, walking distance from Main Street and the old center of Charlottesville.

I prefer to have a shower in the pool. When you should take a shower before entering the pool, it is not too handy take it in the room.

Breakfast was better than those found at other chains but not the same standard I have experienced in Asian and European hotels. Very clean. Spacious rooms. Small kitchen, etc.

Three things. 1. Annoyed that there was a $10/day parking fee that was not disclosed when we booked the hotel. We have not experienced such undisclosed fees at other booking.com brokered properties. 2. We were annoyed by being awakened during the night because of sirens from a nearby firehouse and train noise from a nearby train track. Fortunately, the front desk gave us a new room for the 2nd night of our stay. 3. The hotels refused to add Hilton Honors points to our account because we booked through Booking.com. Other hotels do so.

I like that it is pet friendly and has a fire pit in the front that stays lit.

I was not charged the rate that Booking.com gave me, which stated it covered taxes and fees. The excess was charged to my card without my approval. The front desk said that Booking.com never estimates the city tax correctly. I wonder if this location just needs to go into their account and update it themselves? There is still COVID info on the site, so that is my suspicion.

Proximity to downtown and easy walk to places we wanted to go to. Buffet breakfast included. Hot drinks are available 24hr. Clean. Comfy bed. Iron available.

The tea wasn't good. Lack of cutlery/crockery if coming down later to breakfast. Juice availability got less by the day....by day 4 there was only 1....and that wasn't very nice. A small kettle in the room would have been good.

The pillows and mattress were comfortable and the room was large and tastefully decorated. The tv was large and swiveled easily from the seating area to the bed. The shower was clean and the water was very hot. The kitchenette was great and hat all necessities.

The room was a little dirty in spots that go unnoticed. The baseboard under the kitchenette had food on it and the carpet areas had a lot of debris near the baseboards and next to the dressers. There was only one towel regular towel but 2 hand towels and 2 washcloths for a room that had 2 queen beds.

Location was great. The space in the room was great including a nice kitchen area

We booked through bookings.com while we were on the road that day and the hotel didn’t have our reservation when we arrived. The gentleman at the desk, who was patient and kind, could not do anything about it. Booking.com was difficult to reach but We finally got through to booking.com and got everything straightened out. This had nothing to do with the hotel …just wished we had booked with the hotel directly. After this horrible experience I will never use booking.com as my first option.

Very impressed. Large room with comfortable bed, a good sized desk to work at and a little kitchen area. Very convenient for downtown and about 10 minutes walk from the Amtrak station. I felt very comfortable there. The breakfast buffet is comprehensive and reasonable quality. And ignore comments about being woken up by trains in the night; they're out of date as they don't blow their horns going through Charlottesville any more!

For some reason my room wasn't made up one of the days.

A great spot to stay for any events downtown. Short walk across the tracks downtown mall. Had a Thursday night concert, appreciated the early check in to finish up some work stuff

It was a little more expensive than previous visits but it was TomTom festival and based on the property's location was happy to pay a bit extra. Was still better value than other downtown area hotels

Staff was fantastic and friendly, nice looking hotel, decor and good breakfast.

The night we stayed a Thunder storm hit which meant we were no longer out for the evening and returned to our room only to discover we also had no tv to watch as this is satellite television. We have Direct Tv at home and switched to streaming it instead of the dish and that issue goes away. I heard many other guests complain about it as well. You should probably change that. There’s alternative options these days, why keep something that doesn’t meet your guests expectations?

spacious and well equipped rooms very comfortable beds decent continental breakfast... however timing could be extended to 9.30 for leisure guests??

reception staff seemed disinterested and some sort of uniform would make them look more professional for an hotel linked to the Hilton group
