Front desk clerk checking in was really nice. The next morning checking out different from desk clerk she couldn’t give me a receipt and said that booking.com does that which I know is not correct, I am a long time user of Booking and each hotel gave me a receipt. I feel she was just plain lazy. When I asked she took her phone went back to someone and came back out touched some buttons on the computer then told me I have to get receipt from Booking I feel this should be investigated plus maybe more training.

Everything was okay except there really was no breakfast to speak of.

The front desk staff during the entire stay was amazing, and very accommodating- I wish I had thought to get her name because she was great. They even brought us an extra blanket and towels that we had requested. Our room was extremely clean, as were the linens. Check in and check out process was a breeze. Clean property and well lit.

The guests above and next to us were VERY noisy and even called to complain about our tv- which was not even that loud though we had been trying to hear over their banging around. I wouldn't really call it a sound proof property. Also didn't like that guests on the second floor were allowed to leave their pizza box trash in the hallway for other guests to trip over for majority of the day.

The bed was exceptionally comfortable. I also liked that they have a coffee station set up 24/7.

The price is a little high for the amenities.

We, as a family of three with a young child, travel more than three times a year. Each trip ranges from one to four weeks, thus we have our share of hotels domestic and abroad. We stumped upon Avid Hotel because we needed to stay overnight between a road trip. Since it was one of the cheapest hotels we have stayed in, my expectation was very, very low. However, from the front desk to the staff we encountered, all of them were nicer than the other way, more expensive hotels we have stayed in. The hotel has an indoor pool, which was great for my child, especially after sitting long hours in the car. The lobby provides 24-hour hot water, tea, and coffee, ice machine. The staff kept refreshing breakfast options and cleaning the surfaces more than they needed. Within five minutes of the hotel, there are a variety of restaurants, Target, and Publix supermarkets. The location was very convenient for us. Overall, Avid provided one of the best value hotels we have stayed in! We will choose it in future trips.

I liked it was Clean, Safe, Convenient to I-95, DC, and Target. Staff pleasant and professional. I appreciate "Animals Allowed." We All need our friends.

I believe I was Rm 103 by back entrance. Perfect in and outs for pets. The smaller dogs like to make verbal statements but the Cockatiels partied into the later evening next door. I perfer birds and dogs over peoples any day, but just giving heads up for the voluntarily petless guest. May be little animal noisy,(back of hotel). All pet parents say their pets are quiet, right?

The hotel was relatively new and in very good condition. It’s location was in good proximity to major highways but not to close as to be noisy. It was fairly close to shopping. The rooms had everything one needs. The 24/7 access to coffee, juice, and sparkling water was great! The staff were all very pleasant.

The room was clean over all but, I spilled a little water on the floor by the bed and when I wiped it up, it was obvious the floors could have been cleaner. Granted it was right where people walk alongside the bed but….. I would have liked the pool to open earlier. It opened at 0900 which made it impossible to use before you started your day.

Property is fresh, modern, and new. Location is perfect near the highway. The bed is super comfortable. The coffee is heavenly, with bean to brew fancy coffee machine type. You can smell it on the third floor in the morning. It is coffee house quality. The breakfast is grab and go, but still have warm eggs, sandwiches, and good selections of breakfast. They are doing something right here. Very pleasant stay!

Walls might be a little thin, and they are enforcing quiet time. So it should be okay. View of trailer park from the higher floor may is not so pleasant, but the good and great things of the facility and the smell of great coffee makes up for it.

Brand new looking and pristine! Mega floor space with lovely flooring ( NO carpet ) in the room. Shades that allow for total room darkening if desired. Lots of variety in the free breakfast. GREAT pillows on a comfortable bed. Name brand toiletries in actual pump dispensers. POOL is awesome!

The night clerk, Jesse, was wonderful. Very accommodating with every request. He suggested becoming a member of IHG to get a few additional bonuses (free- wifi) and did it for us. When I reported that the TV was not working, he came up to our room and got it to work.

The breakfast was mediocre, at best, and definitely not what we expected from such a modern hotel. It consisted of: - a few pre-cooked egg white omelets and egg sandwiches with sausage patties or ham, kept lukewarm in a heating tray. - individual boxed cereals, fresh milk. - plain white bread; blueberry bagels - individual Dole mixed fruit cups - individually wrapped fruit bars - apples

The bed was soft, and the pillows and sheets combined for a great sleeping experience. The bathroom was nice. I appreciated the coffee grinder and sparkling water dispenser in the lobby. Although I didn't have time, I appreciate the fitness center being open 24 hours. The room was spacious, and I liked the available storage space. I don't use a couch/wardrobe in a hotel, so I prefer what they did instead.

Hot water machine in the lobby had to be pressed weird to work. Breakfast/checkout times were not written anywhere. On checkout day, one of the coffee machines and one of the elevators went out of service. The casting feature on the in-room TVs didn't work right.
