With respect for property’s age… very low toilet with loose plastic seat was surprising; USB ports lacking at bedside. Breakfast presentation of institutional eggs & sausage was odd, all crowded into in one steamer tray and lukewarm (8am). Powdered scrambled eggs rather thin and tasted of city water. Bread/bagels were fresh, other breakfast options seemed adequate & the dining area was clean & pleasant. **Also-difficult to find the correct turn to the hotel from Broad Street! It’s set back on a busy road with lots of businesses & we didn’t see any signage - easy to drive past

I absolutely loved the place! Staff was EXCEPTIONAL, all except one. Perfect location! The pool was pretty big! Nice gym! Easy check in! Late check out!

Breakfast was disappointing. We arrived a few minutes after 10 expecting some breakfast promised thru 10:30. Many others also missed out. The breakfast attendant stopped replenishing breakfast items too early there was no more pancake mix, eggs, or sausage. I informed her it was my daughter’s birthday and I spent $200 on a room and expected at least a waffle. She rushed to make a new mixture and it came out soggy and nasty. My daughter had a peace of toast and some juice. On top of it all, she was completely rude and off putting. Accusing another guest of having seconds. Not a wonderful start to our trip here. Also, the hot wasn’t hot. We still enjoyed our stay despite this woman.

The staff was friendly, although we did not see them often (a lot of planned activities for our trip). There was also a good selection of breakfast options to choose from. The location was only about 15 minutes from any of our excursions with easy access to the interstate.

The beds were a little more firm than we are used to and there were no real seating options in the room (besides a single office chair) for any down time we had in the room. Also, the drawers in our dresser would not stay shut. I believe it was slightly tilted and the drawers would slowly open no matter how many times they were shut. But none of these minor inconveniences took too much away from a pleasant stay.

I’ve been staying here every couple of weeks for the last four years or so while on business in Richmond. I always enjoy my stay there, Kim at the front desk is always very friendly and helpful as is everyone there frankly, but she stands out because she always greets me with a smile. The rooms are clean, towels are plentiful, TV works great, lots of pillows, coffee maker in the room, microwave and little fridge. The breakfast in the morning is pretty good for a free breakfast, lots of eggs, lots of sausage, lots of waffles, toast, bagels, fruit, juice. Coffee is hot and strong, and I feel very comfortable there and almost at home. Very good experience every time.

I really can’t think of anything that I didn’t like, there’s always the occasional persons in the hall talking too loud at night, but that’s not bad at all really.

Bath/ shower in handicap room—not enough handrails to help in entering and exiting tub/shower.

Room was clean and bed was comfy. All staff were personable and professional. Maintence emploee assisted me with juacuzzi knob depite being broken and gym so I could utulize it. Wanted to thank Antoine Whiters the maintenance man. He was kind and thoughtful recognizing that I needed assistance with the equipment and fixed it without asking so I could utilize it.

The continental breakfast was disappointing. Hot and cold options limited. Hoping for more healthy choicewes like hard boil egges, low sugar yogurt and various fresh fruit.

The beds were comfortable. The location was convenient and close to shopping/food. The pool times are AMAZING! Love the checkout time as well! The staff were friendly. The breakfast on Saturday morning was the best!

The guests were loud at times. The pool area was not great. Water didn’t look clear. The breakfast on Sunday was not good (the eggs and meat were cold and didn’t offer nearly what they did on Saturday). Didn’t replenish breakfast.

It was clean and the front desk person was friendly and assertive with calming rowdy guess and maintaining order.

It’s older and the TV was tiny. Aside from the property, the guest in at least 3 rooms on the second floor we’re having a party and we’re really loud and running the halls, but the front desk person quieted them down. There is a club/bar next door that may have attracted some sketchy guests that made an offer for my to “party” with them. I declined. This often mean drugs. I’m accustomed to being around people like that but would not let my wife or kids walk through the property alone as it did not feel safe. Lastly, someone through a plate of breakfast food at my door that I discovered when leaving to check out also. None of this was any fault of the property but just soured the experience a bit.

Everything was great! The lady at the register was kind and attentive. She even changed our room to accommodate me and my son with separate beds (I hadn’t noticed I booked a room with just one bed). The place also offers a good breakfast. In addition to high-carb options, they serve scrambled eggs and sausages which is very nice.

The place is quite clean, no complaints there. But there’s always room for improvement. Otherwise, it’s great!
