The breakfast was phenomenal! We had the "American" breakfast, which was prepared to perfection. The bacon had a perfect texture and was the best part of the meal. Also, from the moment you walked in, a pleasant scent permeated the premises. The Staff was very pleasant and responsive, even when they were short personnel. Did I mention the bacon?

There was nothing that could have been better. The visit met my expectations in every sense and contributed to a great visit in the capital city. Previous comments on travel sites mentioned elevator problems. Our visit coincided with multiple graduations, so the hotel was full of activity. At no point did we have to wait an exhorbitant time for the elevators.

EXCEPTIONAL customer service. Each and every person I spoke to was extremely helpful and professional. The room was clean, BUT it did have a slight odor of cigarettes.

I didn’t know it was a pet friendly hotel. I might have chosen a different place had I paid attention, but everything turned out fine.

First I’d like to recognize Jess our server in the hotel restaurant. My wife and I are big on customer service. My wife being a picky eater had many changes to her order. Jess took our order (without pen and pad) and nailed it. Second the food was excellent. The chef nailed my wife’s well done steak which never happens when we go out. Even at the high end establishments. Kudos to the cooking staff. Last checking in there was a gentleman who wore suspenders but never got his name. Awesome personality that made us feel welcomed. We will be back next year on our way back from North Carolina next Labor Day holiday to stay the night on our way back to Delaware. Thank you All!!

Great location, clean, loved the beds and pillows!!

The only issue was that there were 2 elevators, and 1 didn’t work. There were apparently several large groups / events this weekend, and getting an elevator involved a lot of waiting. It was not good!

Stained sheets and toilet handle kept sticking

The staff was very friendly, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. I visited the hotel restaurant a few times and it was very good.

One of the elevators were broken, so sometimes the wait was long.

I appreciate that I was able to check in early after a long drive with no additional charge . Staff extremely pleasant and accommodating. Clean

As soon as we walked in the gentleman took our bags. The elevator one if them wasn’t working. we waited finally asked would we might go through service elevator exit. We said of course not. He was the kindest guy. So much we will be coming back. People like that can make or break a stay. Talked about Richmond, the hotel. Had great words yo say about hotel.

the lobby was clean and the elevators works as they should and we clean. the restaurant was also clean and orderly.

the bed skirts had mystery stains, the one bed had two comforters on it and the one was very yellow when you could tell it was originally white.

Everything was great from the smash burger to the comfort of the room. What made it even better is that there was a fridge in the room.
