Both people working the front desk that I talked with were very nice, bright, cheerful, and helpful. As they form the first impression of the hotel this is very important. The room was clean and comfortable albeit a little dated. I had a room with a small balcony overlooking the interior courtyard and pool. Very nice. When you travel often you can tell when things are being done well or not. My impression is that this hotel has staff that care.

This is an older hotel. It probably could use a refurbishment. But it is kept well. The real problem is the elevator is very far from the front entrance. Of course you can drive to the rear of the building near the elevator to unload your car but the luggage carts are in the front. So either way your walking a very long hallway. It could really use at least one other elevator near the front.

Good location - downtown 15-20min max, convenient parking. Clean, spaceous, can work from the room if needed.

Sometimes cleaning was not done properly (towels on the floor left), or wasn’t done at all (even trash was left).

Sofa and chair cushion are very worn and compressed. Wished for pot of free coffee in lobby in morning.

The plantings outside are beautiful, grass etc. looks great. Cleanliness of room and especially bathroom. When I told the front desk about light not working and alarm going off at 6pm; he gave me a free Marriott room; Also thought lock did not work and he showed me how it did.

Room was a decent size for a one night stay, nice balcony and in a nice area. Everything you could need is on Broad St.

The "Bistro" says limited but claims to offer Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. It's the same options you get at a free breakfast at other hotels but not included. If you're looking for a hotel with a gym, this Is not it. The free weights are about 7 sets of dumbbell weights ranging from 5 to 45, and some of them only have one. One bench. The gym room was smaller than our small hotel room.

The breakfast cafe is wonderful and so much better than a free continental breakfast bar which has mostly unhealthy choices. If you like oatmeal, it is the most creamy, delicious oatmeal ever. It is served with fruit, brown sugar, and anything else which is available. The women who staff the breakfast bar start your day with cheer and joyfulness. They are all wonderful, but I must give a shout out to Virginie, who is exceptional.

Breakfast was not available, I guess because of the holiday. Off brand granola bars, bananas and oranges were all that were available. Extra points should be given for the Starbucks coffee….it was very good despite all the other disappointments.

My view could have been better. I love staying at the Marriott because of the balconies. The view was not so great this time around.

Staff here is always helpfull and there is always a smile. If there is anything i needed they made sure that i had it.

The air conditioner was way too loud. I would have given this hotel a 10 if it wasn’t for that.
