This was a great place to stay. It was exceptionally clean, bright, and nicely decorated. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The lobby was well designed, with comfortable places to sit and a wonderful playroom/game room area for children. The beds were comfortable and rooms were well-stocked with towels, good quality soap, and shampoo, enough tissues, and toilet paper, etc.

I would say that the breakfast was OK, but not exceptional. They featured LAVAZZA coffee, available all day, but I am not a fan of that brand which is more on the dark roast/bitter side.

Tru always hits it out of the park. GREAT STAFF, every single one is friendly and will chat with you. They don't just sit behind the counter. They love to recommend places to explore in their town! Thank you Annette for the recommendation for Kathy's for breakfast. (We slept too late to eat in the lobby) Their lobby is a gathering place instead of a pass though. Rooms are spotless, breakfast is plentiful and a nice variety.

It is wonderful that Tru allows pets. But, I saw 2-3 people NOT cleaning up after the dog went on the property. Pretty typical for dog owners. They think it is the staffs job to clean up for their pet! Leave your animal in a kennel if it can't behave, not a hotel! This is not a review of the hotel, but the pet owners. If a place allows you to bring the animal, treat the place with respect! The staff at Tru have enough to do without picking up after your dog!

The two most important things: Wonderfully clean, and, the beds were absolutely superb.

Breakfast was good, but no country gravy in Northwest Virginia? The room was the most narrow that I have seen in a motel in recent memory. The traffic pattern to the hotel is right next to I-81, but very convoluted drive to and away from the motel; a bit of a challenge at night.

The staff was welcoming and friendly any time I encountered them no matter where or when. The lobby was clean, bright and inviting.

I really don’t have any complaints but maybe more breakfast choices like options for those of us who don’t eat red meat, chicken/turkey sausage or bacon would be nice.

Friendly staff, clean room, decent breakfast

There must be some kind of reward system as there were bags with water behind the counter . I was not offered one, or explained how to get it. My room was near the elevator so I heard that, footsteps in the room above, and loud a/c.

Location was very convenient. The team member that checked us in was very friendly and offered many recommendations and even history of the area. She was very welcoming and would make us stay at Tru in the future.

Great location, easy parking, excellent staff

Very thin walls and they allow dogs in these dogs yap and bark constant and it sounds like it's right outside your room. Not the hotel's fault other than allowing these dogs so I'm not ratingthe hotel for that

The staff was great.

The room was around persons with a dog, which made noise most of the time. Very thin walls. The persons above us stayed up very late and were up very early.

Had everything we needed. Was clean and bright and breakfast was very good and well prepared. Room was comfortable for an overnight stay.

Shower door was not installed properly and leaked onto bathroom floor.

Location, cleanliness, decor of the rm and lobby. Access to the bldg. Sitting areaS outside. Loved the Samsung TV..the clarity and color was amazing..Breakfast each morning different and delicious and delightful 😊

Had called the front desk and no answer. Also, Came in and wanted to have some coffee and the containers were gone this night the night before it was Luke warm. I usually enjoy their coffee being available thru out the day/evening
