This property has the rustic feel of an old log cabin. The lighting is adequate the decor is old but what do you expect in a cabin setting. The outside is great. Very well maintained. The inside cabins need some attention though.

The cabinet for towels was falling apart and needed to be fixed. I honestly think the room could be configured with better storage and table top area but rustic is what your going for then that’s what you get. As for the carpet on the walls, honestly I get it for a sound barrier but we could hear everything going on behind us so that didn’t work as intended. Plus if you have allergies not the best decision to make.

The property is close to I-64, downtown Huntington and other locations. Definitely a superb value considering the higher prices of hotels these days. Located in a large grassy property surrounded by trees. 2 convenience store nearby were within a few minutes walking distance from the property. All amenities were provided. Fridge, microwave, Keurig with coffee provided, TV with free Netflix etc. and a good WIFI connection. There is a pool and fire pit and one of the other units has a hot tub. The front porch has comfy chairs and a swing which we enjoyed, and the lighting that comes on after dark. We also met Rick who is a very friendly host and owner. Will definitely book again if the convention is in Huntington, or for other events.

There was some traffic noise, but not an issue after rush hour.

The owner was wonderful to let us know the directions before we arrived since google maps was a little off. After a long day of driving and two more ahead of us, we really appreciated being able to get right there and right in the room. It was clean, and the bed was comfortable. We just slept and left, but the place looked real quaint outside. The driveway was well lit up at night, too. It was well worth the money saved from the pricey hotels in the area. I would have needed to spend 3 times as much to get a safe hotel room in a decent area here.

It felt weird that the bathroom was right in the front door, but we got over it.

Our stay exceeded our expectations and we look forward to staying again when we can sleep more and have no schedule. This was the last leg of our 6 day SCHLEPP across the country with our Service Dog, our cat, a large moving van and a car trailer in tow... We were definitely NOT your usual guests! The support and regard for our situation definitely created the best first impression of our new home's region we could have imagined. The property is very well kept and a wonderful getaway -- our two day stay was reward motivation for reaching our destination and waiting out the finalizing of our new home. We only wish ALL of our stays were as nice as this was

The bed was very comfortable. The porch swing was a nice touch. Our host provided bottled water to drink, and a Keurig coffee maker with the required cups to brew coffee. The temperature in the room was comfortable.

The facility needs a little more water pressure. I also suggested to our host Rik that he provided two folding chairs in the room instead of one. He was very responsive when I asked for a second chair so my wife and I could sit together to eat our meal.

Our stay here was for only one night and it was perfect. Ric was extremely welcoming and provided us with a lot of information surrounding the property; places to eat, things to do/see, etc. The fridge was stocked with mini water bottles, a coffee machine & mugs, wine glasses, and solo cups. Room & bathroom were exceptionally clean and set up perfectly. We utilized the hot tub (super clean) on the deck and it was beautiful. The bed & pillows were 10/10 comfortable. Will definitely be on the lookout for this property again next time we visit!

We enjoyed our stay - Ric was a great host. The room was just what we needed for an overnight stay as we drove through Huntington. The location was perfect and it was set on a pretty property. The bed was so comfortable and we paid to use the jacuzzi. It was perfect for a chilly night. It was also located right outside the Room C entrance…just a few steps from the room to the jacuzzi. We would definitely stay again if we find ourselves driving through again.

Everything I needed to get some quiet rest on a long distance M/C trip. Had coffee, small water bottles in fridge, microwave great air conditioning ( so hot & Humid on day I was there) Clean. I would stay again if going thru there.

Little tight as far as parking. But Rick the owner let me park my M/C in the grass right in front of the front door. A car would have plenty of room in the front.

The host was excellent and hot tub was amazing.

The room was very nice and cozy. The bed was very comfortable. We liked the log cabin feel inside the room as well.

It was too close to the main road. You could see the Speedway sign through the windows, glowing at night. If there was another curtain panel or set, to block out the light. They make light/ noise blocking curtains. Noise level was ok once you had the tv on or music playing.
