The woman at reception allowed me to switch rooms. I was in town for work and didn’t want to drive home in a snowstorm. I had to wake up early for work. I requested a different room because the people in the room next to me were having a good time. They weren’t rude or disrespectful or anything, they were just up really late, had music on and were talking. It was instant and effortless and I really appreciated it.

It was a very nice and clean hotel with great staff. I wish I had more time to utilize the pool and hot tub!

Lovely, comfortable modern room, very spacious, plenty of outlets for everyone, and very clean. When we could catch it, solid complimentary breakfast with hot options.

We missed breakfast one morning because it ended one hour sooner than the staff advised (they gave us incorrect info and did not mention that the end time varied throughout our stay). Typically we'd have also checked that laminated overview/welcome sheet that's in most hotel rooms, but there was not one. Would just advise triple checking with staff each morning/night before if you plan on catching it.

I was so thrilled to walk into the Comfort Suites in Cottage Grove. It is new, clean, open, airy, spacious and inviting. The lobby is lovely, the rooms were so comfortable, and the access to the bar/ restaurant right next door was so convenient. had stayed at another hotel for the first few days of my visit to Madison and was very disappointed. It was an old hotel that had not been renovated. We will be returning.

I cannot think of anything I didn't like.

The location is great! Breakfast was pretty good. The woman working Saturday morning in the kitchen was exceptionally friendly.

My refrigerator had coffee grounds spilled in it and juice. The use of the key card to make the lights work should have been mentioned at check-in. I didn't notice the card slot by the door and I had to call the front desk about the lights. That was the first time I had seen something like that.

I booked here because of the restaurant next door. That is now closed down. I had to find other meal options. It’s just one of the things I hate to do after a long day is drive around to find food options.

No real food close.

The room was spacious and the property was clean and modern and looked inviting. The pool was nice and the jacuzzi.

I found the staff at check-in to be not very warm or friendly. Also when we bought something from the store the staff member seemed a bit uncommunicative. At check out the person was more friendly.

Thumping coming from the roof during a storm. Not much to be done about it and it only happened during a storm

nice large rooms and a clean large breakfast area. the pool was small but well set up with excellent hours. Everything was very clean and welcoming. Staff were friendly and kind. Breakfast had a good variety

My only complaint was that the actual breakfast itself wasn’t stocked very well/was slow to refill. Staff were bringing out 6 little omelets at a time when it was 7:30 and there were visibly 20 people waiting for food. also did not replace the waffle mix when I was there. Second morning breakfast foods didn’t get out out until well after 7:00am which was the start time. As someone who needed to get on the road this was frustrating, but the only kink I saw that needed to get ironed out

The comfort of the beds, the cleanliness of the room and the size of the room was outstanding! Check in was fast and easy too. The breakfast was delicious with lots of variety. The location for us was exactly what we were looking for on our long trip from Texas to Michigan.

New and spacious facility. Common areas are bright and spacious, and the rooms are large and uncramped. Very clean. Slightly different room furniture than typical, but all needs were met. Stylish decor throughout. Staff was very friendly and polite.

This seems like a new hotel that is still trying to iron out some of the wrinkles. The TV only had four channels working on it. Breakfast staff had trouble keeping up with replenishing food and beverages, even though breakfast wasn't too busy. Breakfast was a little on the scant side. The walls are a little thin at this property.
