The women who run this hotel are absolutely on top of everything! When you drive up, you may not expect much, but it really is nice! Breakfast was yogurt, bagels and everything else you would expect from a continental breakfast. Staff was extremely helpful and informative.

If' they did some landscaping, this place would be more attractive and would attract more visitors, I think. It's great!

All of the staff was very nice. The lobby was clean as was the interior. Plenty of coffee on hand. The meal for the continental breakfast was okay.

An Asian staffer came across on the rude side. The back entry key card was ripped off the outside wall. For those on the backside of the motel had to park at the front. Double the trouble when your on the 2nd floor. There was a major water leak at the front south corner of the motel. I believe it was like this two years ago. Parking on that side of the building makes it tough to have to walk through water to get to the entry door. The desk chair in our room was broke which I let the lady at the front desk know.

I thought the room was clean, modern and spacious. The bed was comfortable. Hand-pumped soap, shampoos, and lotions were provided by both the sink and bathtub for easy convenience. Keurig coffee maker was provided in the room, and you could get pods down stair in the lobby. Continental breakfast was provided every morning. Pretty basic, but acceptable. For a moderately priced motel, given its location, friendly staff I would stay there again.

Drink vending machines didn't work very well and limited selection.

Staff were so nice and helpful! I didn’t get up in time to see the whole breakfast spread, but just the things they left out (oatmeal, etc.) were much better than what I expected. The little amenities in the room also exceeded my expectations for a Super 8. This one is unusually good, and the location was good, easy to find.

The room had a bad smell when I went in. It was chilly, so I tried turning on the heat, but that made the odor worse, so I left it off. I think it was in the carpet. Just fyi.

We loved the entire experience here. We just needed a bed for the night for a comedian we went to see in Duluth. I accidentally booked here thinking it was a different location, and couldn't have been happier. It was a little "happy accident". Check in was seamless, the staff was incredibly friendly & the room unbelievably clean & comfortable. We were originally booked on the 2nd floor and I politely asked about being moved to the first due to needing my knees replaced and stairs are so hard. The sweet lady was able to make it happen to my excitement! Breakfast was a basic no frills breakfast. The area was very clean & well stocked and easy to find what you needed. We have a new favorite place when we go to duluth now. The rates are amazing, the hotel superb, the staff phenomenal & Gronks bar in the parking lot the yummiest place to eat. We haven't had a stay like this in the 15 years we've been married and we used to travel frequently. I'd give 10 stars here if I could. We truly did feel welcomed from start to end.

Nothing. We have nothing negative in the slightest to say. There was nothing bad or that even went wrong. Our best hotel stay since we can remember.

The hotel was great for purpose. Clean, quiet, and a decent selection of edibles for breakfast. Coffee was good. The floors above are not well sound-proofed, but fortunately the person stopped walking by 11pm. Our shower/tub did not drain well. Otherwise, for a town that is over-priced for hotels this time of year, Super 8 served us well. It was fully booked too.

Shower drain needs clearing. We forgot to mention it in the morning.

The staff was especially helpful, cooperative and friendly. Check-in was accomplished efficiently and helpfully. We were able to add another day to our initial reservation with ease. Housekeeping staff was praiseworthy and amenable. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Thank you! Good job!

Loved the characters, joy, kindness and the pleasant attitude of the staff. Mary stands out the most. She was extremely personal and down to earth. I instantly made a connection with her. Was a very busy time when I left and she made you feel like you were the only one there. I would highly recommend staying there.

At check-in, moved me to a downstairs room because I had a lot of luggage. Breakfast was plentiful and included protein (hard-boiled eggs, yogurt).

The desk chair didn't stay elevated, so it was a bit hard to work at the desk. (To be fair: I could have asked for another chair but didn't.) The location is ten minutes east of the city center, though it's close to Wisconsin Point (I didn't go because it was raining)... there are few places to eat nearby.

The facilities are very well taken care of. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast area looked great but we did not have any breakfast that day.

Price was a little high for an older motel but the quality is there.
