We were pleasantly surprised and impressed when entering the lobby, it is classy, clean and comfortable. Our description is ‘affordable luxury ’ especially in comparison to all the other ‘corporate’ hotels we have stayed in on our recent road trip. We were also impressed with our king room, nicely furnished and with a very comfortable sitting area. The bathroom was also a good size, with a good size counter for me to spread out and good lighting for makeup application ( woefully missing in most hotels). And…a separate sink for my husband so I could have the bathroom all to myself! We loved this place and will stay here again when in the area. The grounds were beautiful and nicely maintained.

The hotel is beautiful! The rooms are so nice and so much room. Beautiful furniture and amenities. The gift shop is amazing with so many choices. My husband really enjoyed his 75 cent cone too. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was superb. I traveled with 6 other adults and we all agreed that this was our best hotel stay. We saw the Chris Ledoux statue while in town.

Doesn’t have elevator in all areas. But accommodations were made in another building for my sister who could not climb stairs so it worked out.

Location! Off the interstate, so it is quiet, which is hard to find in Cheyenne. The room (both nights) was extra large and very nice. The bed was very comfortable. The facility has a very nice lounge on the property. We stayed two nights, which was not planned. The front desk staff the first night(Oct 12) was fabulous -- and actually a very large part of why we went back for a second night. The one person at the front desk on the second night(Oct 13) was not very nice, polite, or attentive -- we may not have gone back if she had been our first contact. The lounge staff was perfect in every way! The property has some rooms in separate buildings -- along with the main building.

No elevator. We stayed, both nights, in a building separate from the main building -- on the second floor.

Loved the old solid, motel feel with the mature trees and green space around the large pool. Comfy seating especially the cabana loungers. Plenty of sun/shade mix. Very comfy, relaxing environment. All staff was very friendly and helpful. Dining options were great. Little front porch was perfect for sitting outdoors and having morning coffee.

Our room (152) had a musty smell that disappeared with door open for fresh air.

The bed was comfortable and the huge TV was nice for watching football. Our room faced the parking lot and had a small patio with chairs just outside the room, but it wasn't very exciting to sit and look at the parking lot

The front desk wanted me to sign something agreeing to a rate that was $30 higher. When I questioned it, she said it was to cover incidentals, and that it would be refunded. The wording on what she had me sign made it look like I was agreeing to be overcharged. This was unsettling. You need to rewrite your check in form.

What a find! Exceeded my expectations, I was just looking for an affordable place to stay for the night and found so much more. Excellent restaurant that might of been the best meal of my life, awesome gift shop, pool was bathtub warm!!! Staff was friendly, the resort had an old fancy feeling almost like you were on the Titanic. Great parking, safe feeling, truck stop on the way in so you could fuel up easily. I would recommend to anyone!

Nice and clean

We liked the 2 sinks. One in the bathroom and the other outside the bathroom. We liked the layout of the rooms surrounding the pool. But not to close. The main lodge was beautiful. We enjoyed the shop and the coffee shop. Small but met our needs. Lots of parking.

The bathroom could have been a bit cleaner. Adding a steamer for clothing would be great.

We were assigned a room in Block 5, it was a beautiful room with a separate lounge area with comfortable seating. Bathroom was large and towels soft. We used the pool area for an hour which was good. This is more a country hotel with lots of wood panelling and oversize furniture in the main building but everything about it was just right. We liked it a lot, probably the best place we’ve stayed for the best money in 3 weeks on the road. Would have stayed longer if we could have.

There was a long wait for dinner in the restaurant but I am guessing they were understaffed and it was a Saturday night so busier than normal. Our bottle of red wine was served very cold but a misprint on the wine menu meant we waited a long time for a different wine that wasn’t available so we didn’t bother sending it back. Overall a minor niggle on a pleasant stay.

The hotel was in a nice location and the property was very nice. The pool was very nice and refreshing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and met our needs. Good value for a nice place to stay in Cheyenne.

I booked a king room, but ended up with 2 queen beds. I chose not to complain as the price was the same and that was not something I was willing to complain about. The shower spilled a lot of water into the floor because the glass did not contain the water. I didn't particularly like walking up a set of stairs to get to the room, only because we were moving and had just loaded the trailer with all our household goods and furniture, so we were quite hot and tired by the time we got to the room and the last thing I wanted to do was carry one more thing up a set of stairs. (that was purely a situational comment).
