Our stay in Yarra Ocean Suites was fantastic. Really beautiful views from our room on the 15th floor. We had a honeymoon set up in the room, and it was gorgeous, rose petals, and swans on the bed. Roses also in a vase on the table. It was one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. Really comfortable bed and pillows. Huge selection for breakfast. I would definitely recommend it to friends. Unfortunately, one complaint is about the bath and shower. It needs to be improved. The bath isn't long enough to sit in unless you keep your legs bent or if you try to lie down, your legs are going up the side of the bath. The shower head is not good. Water seems to hit the curve of the bath and has weak pressure, so you can not shower properly. Took a long time for the water to heat. On check out, the receptionist asked me for a good review on trip advisor. She stood over me while I completed this. This makes me think a lot of reviews there are not fully accurate. It would be good to let the customer write in their own time.

The staff were fantastic and made our stay enjoyable. Location was great and close to very good restaurants and mini marts. Beach just across the road.

The pool area needs a lot of work to make it usable. It's in very bad condition and looks nothing like the photos on their website. Didn't use the pool area because of the state of it. Water pressure ok but takes forever to warm up.

The hotel looks quite old but it is in a very good location, right in front of the beach. From the balcony, you get a good view of the long stretch of beach (almost from end to end). There are shops and restaurants around the area so it is very convenient. A church beside the hotel is a bonus. You see the cross lit up at night. The staff are nice and helpful. Despite the language barrier, they will try their best to assist and attend to your needs Buffet breakfast was good. There are a variety of dishes to choose from.

The bathroom layout is unsafe. I can appreciate the intention of placing the bath tub near the window for the view, but having the shower on the bath tub is very unsafe. The water drips on the floor as you shower, so there's a possibility of slipping while getting out of the tub especially if there are soap suds on the floor.

The staff were very friendly from the moment we arrived. They gave us a tasty drink and check in was easy. The view from the room was amazing and having a balcony was lovely. You can find many places to eat a few minutes away, spas, hair and nail salons.

The bath is a nice touch but it gets very messy when you are having a shower without a curtain. I used the gym but it was disappointing to see the band on the treadmill crooked and not working. The bicycle was very old and the dumbbells were dusty and only had heavier sets. The breakfast offered a great variety of Asian foods but limited Western options. It’s good if you like trying local food.

I stayed in a Junior Suite with Ocean View with bathtub, one of the more expensive rooms, and I never had hot water in the shower. It got slightly warm but never hot enough to use the bathtub or to be able to take a nice warm/hot shower. I probably would not stay here again just because the shower water never got warm enough. The rooftop pool could also use a lot more sun chairs, there are only 3 for a hotel with 15 floors and dozens of rooms.

Pros: Extremely helpful, friendly, responsive staff. Great location - convenient, lots of shops and restaurants nearby, beach view is beautiful. Breakfast consists of a large variety of Vietnamese and western foods. Room was spacious and clean. Cons: Cleaning could have been better (windowsill was dusty, sheets weren't changed daily, bathroom wasn't cleaned thoroughly during the stay). The shower was not closed off, causing water to go everywhere despite your best efforts.

The Premium King room was large and the view was just superb, right across the bay from the Lady Buddha statue in the north to Hoi An in the south. The bathroom was large (though water went everywhere as it had a shower over bath with no curtain), clean towels provided every day and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was varied with Asian and Western options. Staff were very attentive, always helpful and friendly. Nice pool on the roof top with a terrific view too.

There is a half-completed building next door and some fittings in the room and hotel were a little tired.

The location was fantastic. Great partial views of the beachfront from our room . The staff were always very helpful. We enjoyed the pool even if it was a bit tired. The hotel is close to many eateries and mini marts

Our first room was very tired and needed updating. It had a shower over a spar bath when we had asked for a walk-in shower. The staff were quite happy to relocate us to a room with a walk-in shower with the same great views . Although this still needed some attention it was much more acceptable.

Got the ocean suite, its in the main road side expect a noisy cars. Room is spacious with sofa and good view of the streets and ocean. They have very funny design of the shower. You have to shower in the bathtub, come on, the bathroom is in good size, why not separate it and put a shower enclosure? After you shower, expect a flood in your entire bathroom haha I have to ask the front desk to send me 5 bath mats which she refused. You need to resist and bit of angry voice for them to send your request. Check in process is quick Spa massage, don't try massage in vietnam. Anywhere is not good haha
