Phenomenal service, and the staff is outstanding. One of the best places we’ve ever stayed! The food, amenities, ambience and decor was amazing, perfect.

Indoor pool; they could do with an outdoor one. But it was still nice.

I stayed at the Capella Hanoi as a solo female traveller, and it was truly the most exquisite hotel experience I have ever had. Every detail of this hotel is a masterpiece. Luxury and art are woven into every corner, from the decor to the atmosphere. The staff were outstanding: warm, attentive, and made me feel genuinely cared for. Dining at Backstage was a highlight, with world-class cuisine and an ambiance that felt both elegant and inviting. The lounge and bars were equally impressive, perfect for relaxing with a cocktail and soaking in the beauty of the space. This is not just a hotel, it is an experience. I cannot recommend Capella Hanoi highly enough. It has completely raised the bar for what a luxury stay should be.

1) Location is perfect in old quarters of Ha Noi, all major attractions are at walkable distances from the property. 2) The staff is extremely polite, thoughtful and helpful. I would like to give special mention to Ms. Vikky (Vicky? not sure about the spelling) at the reception who helped us with the early check in, gave us an upgrade to deluxe suit with minimal charges. The Deluxe suit was really a great idea as we were travelling with our 4yrs old kid. 3) Right from the security personnels to bell boys to waiters and everyone else is extremely polite, helpful, always with a smile on and are ready to go an extra mile when it comes to help the travellers. They don't do this for "Tips" but you wouldn't go without tipping them. Nice, sweet, honest people. 4) They even allowed us to store our luggage for no cost, 2 days after checkout as our flight was late in the evening and we wanted to explore Ha-Noi during the day. (We were just back from Ha-Long Bay) 5) They serve amazzzzzzing Vietnamese coffee at the bar, a must try!! 6) They also have Michelin star restaurant !!! We loved our stay at Capella, Ha Noi. 10000% recommended !

Great location (short walk to the lake and shopping district). Stunning (if eccentric) fit out. We had a junior suite and it was extremely comfortable and well priced. Good selection of places to eat and sit inside the hotel. Temperature control in our room was very good and the bed and pillows were comfortable. Very good fitness centre and excellent pool. The staff were very helpful.

Impeccably clean and well-designed though the styling was too OTT for me - but it's a Bill Bensley - and the further upgrade to the next-level suite was luxurious. A nice start to our Vietnam trip. Breakfast was such a grand affair and it's such a waste that we aren't really champagne and oysters kinda folks. Service was on point for a 5-star hotel and afternoon tea and canapes (on the house) was a nice touch. Loved the stay here at Capella and would happily recommend it as a balm to the hecticness of Hanoi.

The hotel is a work of art, beautiful. The staff were super helpful and friendly. The room was clean and beautiful and the bath tube was my favorite part. It was our honeymoon and anniversary and the hotel had small presents for us, like fruits, a letter, etc which we really appreciated. It made it more special. Please try the spa, we had 2 massages and they were also a work of art. The pool is beautiful and the water is perfect. I personally love the decorations and the smell of the hotel, gorgeous, divine. I definitely want to go back ❤️

We loved everything

Best hotel in Hanoi and also one the best ever I have stayed in! If ever there is such a thing as a 6-7 star hotel, then this falls in that category with nothing short of a Michelin breakfast! We were spoilt to the point that everything else just doesn’t make sense anymore🤩. Rooms are incredibly beautiful and every single detail is impeccable. Bedsheets felt like my body was being massaged to sleep. The sounds of bustling Hanoi from the balcony across from the Sofitel in the exquisite French quarter were so soothing especially sitting in the luscious velvet chairs. What a hotel, what service, what a gem! Incredible establishment… simply the best

What an amazing place! Everything there is just special! Great Art Deco decor and themes across the whole hotel. Best Spa area of any hotel in Hanoi. Restaurants are all Michelin star or rated. Best tea time, best breakfast! Great amenities in the room! Good transportation options!

Hard not to like everything! One very minor gripe is the bathroom door when open hides the one light switch for both bathrooms. So had to hunt for the light switch... but that's very minor, everything was amazing!

Very happy with the stay at a beautiful hotel. Every corner is art. All the staff are very professional and tentative. The team is passionate and polite. The meals at "Backstage" were up to standard. Eric and Duy were very helpful and friendly. The pool and steam room are clean with good service. I also participated in one of the extra cultural program to learn about traditional painting which elevated my stay at Hanoi. It was overall an immersive experience. I would recommend this hotel to traveler that is looking for memorable time.

The staff were all great and some were especially thoughtful. Some staff found out we were in a rush during breakfast so they offered to grab all of luggage from the rooms and pack it into the cars for us. Then another staff member packed a bunch of pastries from breakfast into boxes so we could enjoy them at our leisure since we had to rush. The toddler was super happy about this.

The experience was so great but it was only marred by the check in. We were supposed to check in by 3pm but somehow the room was not ready until 3:45pm which may not seem like a big deal but having traveled so far, we just wanted to get to our rooms to relax a bit. We were not even asking for an early check in. The staff were very pleasant regardless of the tardiness but I had to bring up this one deficiency.
