Great location- and the staff were brilliant. They helped make our trip to Hanoi a great experience. David and his team worked tirelessly to make our stay really enjoyable and was always available on WhatsApp. Once we’d booked with Booking.com David got in touch with us and helped us to organise our trips to Sapa and Halong Bay and our airport transfers. This ensured we had a completely relaxed and enjoyable time. To demonstrate this, when we mistakenly left a valuable piece of clothing on the cruise boat at Halong Bay, and only realised that we’d left it behind once we’d left Hanoi, David reclaimed the item from the cruise ship and forwarded it on to our hotel at Ho Chi Minh, and treated it as it being no hassle or problem.

Mngr. David, Anne and Hannah were great host. They took care of us very well. The hotel room was clean, spacious and great location. The breakfast spread was v nice with very warm atmosphere, they even offered us a packed breakfast as we had very early checkout. Stayed for 2 days as travelling friends. The location is excellent with night market, beer street all within stone throw. Highly recommend this place for all travellers.

NA. The hotel is great with nice location and you get what you see, with great team of hosts.

We were warm welcome, the staff is friendly from the door to escorting us to our room. The room was upgraded to higher standard. Our room and bathroom were clean, nice and quiet, the bed comfortable. The breakfast good, few options to choose. They organized our trip to Halong Bay and later to our hotel in Tam Coc. Perfect organization. We highly recommend this hotel

Large, clean room in a very central location in the Old Quarter. The stand out here are the staff - the receptionist who greeted us and the manager (didn't get their names, wish we had!) were amazing. Great English and extremely helpful, went out of their way to let us check in early and arranged a last-minute trip for us. The receptionist also gave some great recommendations for things to do and places to eat in the area. Great breakfast.

Wifi was patchy and there was a fair bit of street noise - beeping and construction. This is likely purely because of the location, I'm sure all hotels in this area have the same issue!

We liked this hotel and the staff were excellent. Breakfast was excellent. I am rating this hotel NO better than an ordinary three-four star hotel. I have spent hundreds of nights in Booking.com hotels and this, in my view is no more than four. The restaurant is only open for breakfast. There was no "Hot Tub", but an ordinary bath tub. No bath robes, no private entrance, no city view...all were advertised to be there. The city view was over a bunch of metal roofs and the walls of some tall buildings.

I enjoyed the stay and all the staff, facilities and the room itself were great....there were no problems with any components. My view is simply put.....this hotel is greatly overrated. The room measured about sixteen feet square. large enough, but no "Executive suite", as implied in the supporting confirmation.

Just book and thank me later. Especially when you Start in Hanoi this place is awesome due to its Staff. You have a very awesome Rachel in the Lobby that swiftly books things for you that you would take x times longer to figure, gives good advide for routes, + at least on Trains she even gets better Prices then 12GoAsia for example so you kinda safe money AND nerves, booked some stuff. Also Hoa/Helen is pure gold, very friendly and helpful and just nice and very professional. Both Rachel and Helen did let me park my luggage here safely while i was on the Ha Long cruise, when i came to pick it up a day later they offered me to Shower in the Hotel, this is such a good service, would highly recommend starting your Trip here!

Location, location, location! Hotel staffs are friendly and always reachable. Especially, front desk lady, Helene and porter, Son were professional. No putting makeup on in front of guests, no sleeping in front of guests, always stands up and greet with a charming smile! Son always jumped off the chair and open the door and carry our bags. Our 10 day stay was great! We booked this hotel as a base camp and many overnight excursions.

Need to be clear about the payment at booking: cash (usd/vnd) OR credit card (no MX) with 3% at the arrival. No advance payment. Bed frame needed to be fixed or supported better. It was leaning to one side. Warning sign for hot shower: hard to adjust the temperature and it gets burning hot easily.

This is the second time I've stayed at this hotel and it didn't disappoint. The room and a lovely balcony, comfy beds, quiet even though in a busy street and a simple but nice breakfast with a menu of 4 different eggs and soups as well as fruit, bread and great coffee. The best thing though is the wonderful friendly staff. Rachel is the best and helped with everything we needed and made some great recommendations. We stayed here with 2 teenage boys and they loved it too! I would definitely go back. Location brilliant too, lots of shops and restaurants nearby, lake just 10 mins walk.

The hotel has a good location, very close to the busy area in the old quarter (about 5 minutes walk) and to the famous Train Street (10-15 minutes walk). There are several grocery stores nearby, a couple of cafes and restaurants (some very nice). Staff is very friendly and helpful. We booked two tours with the staff and were very happy with both the price and the agency they worked with. Also, we needed a local Sim card and they solved the problem very fast at a very convenient price.

The furniture in the rooms is much older than the photos show, cleanliness needs some improvement, bathroom amenities really need improvement (very old towels, some with holes in them, very difficult to take a shower without getting the whole bathroom floor wet). The balcony is narrow, barely fitting the width of a chair, the table was mostly decorative (no glass on top - so useless). Breakfast kind of poor (compared to other hotels we stayed in Vietnam), with very few options (if you don't have yogurt, fruit or the local Pho, you are left with eggs and a couple of pieces of cheese). Overall, I think that for the same money, there are better options near-by.

We love all. Rachael (manager) was really helpful even before we arrived to the hotel. She provided us a lot information on regarding to the tours and helped us with all regarding about taxis, tours and all. As we landed at 7am, we decided to go straight head to a tour (Rachael organised everything , even pickup at the airport to the tour start point). Tour guide was amazing, she contacted with as soon I was with taxi driver and communicate with taxi driver (as he didn’t speak English). She was made sure we were okay and happy to go with our luggage’s to the tour, and made sure we were well and safe. Second tour to halong bay, tour guide was amazing too. We made some friends in both of tours. Tour guides were amazing. We recommend you their tour company, you feel well, safe, and like home with all local stuff. 100% recommend the hotel & tours. Ps. There are plenty of places to have breakfast, lunch and dinner just in the corner. You have everything closest to the hotel.

We liked all… but the only thing we didn’t like that I told them that we’re in our honeymoon, so we were expecting something as “congratulations message in the room or special decorations”. But overall all was good.
