The hotel were fantastic. Bubbly and friendly. They allowed us to store our bags with them before checking in, so we could explore the city unencumbered. They were also very helpful as we had a tour guide turn up 30 minutes early and we had just started to head out to get some supplies, so they chased us down to let us know. Can't recommend then enough.

The location is really great, close to the old town center and night life. Hannah and her dad are sooo nice! Always willing to help you. First time I met the owner who invited his guests for a breakfast to local restaurant - it was delicious. I bothered Hannah many times and she always was happy to help me and organize trips ❤️❤️ don’t hesitate to book this hotel!

Although we paid for the previous night our flight did not arrive until around 1.30am the following day. However, we took the offer from the hotel of a taxi to pick us up from the airport. This went very well. The hotel provided a picture of the pick up point with description and sure enough the driver was there waiting for us. We only had to pay the hotel the agreed price. The staff were knowledgeable about Hanoi. A special mention for Hanna who was so helpful during our stays. We planned to go on a round trip tour of North Vietnam over 14 days returning to the hotel. Individual trips can be organised by the hotel, however, Hanna advised us how we could combine our trip to Halong Bay and next stop Ninh Binh. The efficient comfortable transport was arranged for us. The location of the hotel was in the centre of the old district and within walking distance of many places of interest with loads of places to eat. We experienced 2 rooms on both our stays. They were both very clean and we did not find noise a problem. One of our trips was to Mega Grand World at Ocean park. Staff gave advice on how we could use the free bus service which goes to the shopping malls. On our first stay I forgot my wireless ear phones, however, these were safely put aside for our return to the hotel. On leaving we took advantage of the transport arranged by the hotel which again run like clockwork.

There is no breakfast option, however, this can be arranged by the hotel at a place across the road which was good. However, after the first day we chose to try some of the many eating places near the hotel.

I had a fantastic stay at The Antique Angel Hotel! The location was perfect—conveniently situated near all the key attractions while still providing a peaceful retreat from the city’s hustle and bustle. The hotel itself had a lovely charm, with beautifully maintained rooms and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. What truly made the experience special was the staff—they were incredibly helpful, friendly, and always went the extra mile to ensure a comfortable stay. If you’re looking for a great place to stay with excellent service and a prime location, I highly recommend The Antique Angel Hotel. I would definitely stay here again!

The room was clean, comfortable and well located out of the really noisy party of the old quarter but still really close to everything. The staff were wonderful and were very attentive. The owner and his daughter were so friendly and it made for a really lovely experience. Right next door is a fantastic pho place we went to multiple in our stay and a Bia Hoi across the road with 15k beers!

The beds are very firm however this seems to be consistent with hotels across Vietnam and we certainly would not hesitate to book this hotel again!

Several things stood out for me. First, the staff: I stayed 3 nights so I got to know all the staff, Hà (2 with this name), Anh, Nam and Tien. They were polite, efficient and helpful. For instance, Tien gave me a ride to Viettel and helped me to get the correct Sim card. Second, the location was close to many tourist sites in the Old Quarter and the Hoan Kiem Lake, yet it was very quiet. Another plus: this hotel has an elevator! Not all Old Quarter hotels this size have elevator! Finally, there are lots of eateries, booking offices and convenience stores within easy walking distance.

The room was on the smaller side. If you have larger suitcase(s) then it'll be a tight fit.

From the time we arrived Hằng and all the staff were so helpful. They organised our airport pick up and our day trip to Halong Bay. Rooms were gorgeous and clean and they were cleaned everyday with fresh towels, shampoo etc. We would recommend everyone to stay in this hotel. Location is great, walking distance to everywhere and still on a quiet street.

Nothing, everything was great!

The room was clean and comfortable, and exactly as presented in Bookings. The location was fantastic, right around the corner from the hustle and bustle of the city, which made it fast and easy to get anywhere, yet also quieter than the main streets. We had a room with a balcony so was fun to sit out and watch the city life. Staff were very friendly and helpful, including helping me set up my e-sim card (which was a new thing for me). And helpful with transportation arrangements and food recommendations. Make sure you go to Chi Coffee 59 Phung Hung too.

Very nice and cozy boutique Hotel in the Old Quarter of Hanoi. We were greeted so nicely by Hannah and Chloe upon arrival. They also made sure we were able to check in 2 hours early since we landed in Hanoi at 6am and were so tired. Again, thank you so so much @ Hannah and Chloe! :) The room was clean and had everything you’d need including a hair dryer, toothbrushes, towels, air conditioning etc… The location of the hotel is amazing! Hoan Kiem Lake, the night market, beer street, so many food spots and so so much more attractions are within a walkable range.

(1) Location — It’s in the middle of the old French Quarter in Hanoi. Everything is within walking distance: Banh mi 25, Dong Xuan Market, and street food vendors. There’s even a delicious, authentic pho restaurant one minute walk from the hotel lobby which was recommended by the kind owner, Mr. Khanh (not sure of the spelling). (2) Room — It was huge, clean, safe and tastefully designed. (3) Price — Reasonable and affordable compared to other hotels in the same area. (4) Service — All of the members of the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Thank you Linh, Nam and Dung (sorry for the misspelling) for your service and hospitality. Special mention to the owner Mr. Khanh who always greeted us with a warm smile, shared with us the delicious moon cake straight from the hotel altar offering :), recommended the pho restaurant near the hotel where we ate breakfast almost everyday during our stay. Thank you for the personalized service which made our trip to Hanoi pleasantly unforgettable. We will stay at your lovely hotel every time we visit Hanoi.
