The reception’s level of professionalism is top-notch. They assist you in anything with great care and detail. The room was large and comfortable and had everything needed for a comfy stay. The accommodation is in a prime location which made all the attractions and touristic spots easy to reach.

The hotel were fantastic. Bubbly and friendly. They allowed us to store our bags with them before checking in, so we could explore the city unencumbered. They were also very helpful as we had a tour guide turn up 30 minutes early and we had just started to head out to get some supplies, so they chased us down to let us know. Can't recommend then enough.

The location is really great, close to the old town center and night life. Hannah and her dad are sooo nice! Always willing to help you. First time I met the owner who invited his guests for a breakfast to local restaurant - it was delicious. I bothered Hannah many times and she always was happy to help me and organize trips ❤️❤️ don’t hesitate to book this hotel!

The location is excellent. It's in the heart of the city centre making it very convenient to reach most tourist attractions. The Night Market is just two minutes walking distance and Dong Xuan Market is a 7 minute walk away. Plenty of small restaurants around the hotel offering a variety of food as well as many street food stalls. The Front Office staff (Stewie and Mint) are very friendly and ready to help. The room and washroom were very clean and well maintained. A great place to stay!!

We were in Room 302 and the room had no window. Although, they do give you tea bags, coffee powder and sugar sachets but there is no milk powder provided.

We stayed at Antique Angel for 4 nights, and was our first stop on our trip. Highly recommend for a short stay in Hanoi. The staff were super friendly, and there was almost always somebody at reception, Stewie was really helpful throughout our stay. Our airport transfers and trip to Ha Long Bay were organised with help from Mint and she went above and beyond to assist us. The hotel is in an excellent location, about 10 mins walk to the Old Quarter so easy to get to but a little outside of the main hustle & bustle so was a lot quieter with traffic noise. The area surrounding the hotel has a good handful of restaurants/street food, coffee shops and a Circle-K corner shop 5 mins down the road. Our room had a balcony and overlooked the bustly street below, although a little noisy at night it was great. The bed was huge, comfy and the room always felt really clean.

The facilities in the bathroom were fine but could do with modernising a little. When showering we noticed that it leaked onto the bathroom floor so could be slippery if you didn't wipe up. Also as the bathroom was quite dinky it was difficult getting in and out of the shower with the main bathroom door closed.

The location 10/10... most things were within 5 mins walk. Maximum walking to any notable attractions were 12 minutes e.g. train street...the best experience 😊. Open street so cars can get down it, bonus if you have heavy luggage. We booked a room without windows but it wasn't claustrophobic and the lift works 😊rooms are also available with balcony. The staff literally could not ask for a better team!!!! Mint, Stewie and Hanna exceeded our expectations from booking to departure!!! My luggage was lost due to connecting flights and they had a taxi service wait for 3 hours whilst we sorted out the issue. They also checked daily as we waited 6 days for our things to be retrieved!! Can't thank them enough. They also made recommendations for where we could purchase items,local eateries and things to do... each member of staff contributes to the wholesome unit. Great local knowledge. We booked our excursions through them as they charge the same prices as others outside, plus saves the hassle of organising pick up and drop offs. Highly recommend and if I come back to Hanoi I will definitely be staying here again. It was very clean and safe.

Rooms are small by European standards, but non claustrophobic all the same.

Mint and the other receptionist were lovely. They were very helpful and accommodating, giving us tips for food as well as sightseeing. Mint kindly suggested tours for us and booked us a 3 day tour to visit Pu Luong and Ninh Bình. It was a very well organised tour with loads to see and do. We could not believe we had the opportunity to visit places of such beauty and cultural significance. The tour was also extremely comfortable and very value for money. We would not have found out about it had it not been for Mint. Further, when the tour operator picked us up earlier than scheduled, the owner of the hotel gave us his homemade breakfast to take with, which was a very kind gesture and showed us that he truly cares for his guests. We highly recommend Antique Angel Hotel!

N/A - this is the perfect place to stay in Old Quarter if your priority is a value for money, extremely well located hotel with exceptional staff.

What I really liked about the property are the friendly staff especially Stewie who accommodated us for our 1 night stay in Hanoi. He gave us a list of where to go in the area especially those that are exclusive in Hanoi. I think we also got an upgrade from a non-balcony room to balcony one so I got the view of the buildings across. The property itself is located in a less crowded street & across other hotels. There are a lot of places to eat nearby, & lots of places where to shop especially for souvenir items. Walkable distance to Hoan Kiem Lake. Although the elevator in the building is really small, about 1-3 persons can fit depending on the body size & other variations like those with luggages or without. The free breakfast (if opted) is located at their sister hotel (La Storia Hotel) right across & it’s a made to order basis on their menu. Limited choices but don’t get me wrong, the food is all good. Hassle free check-in & check-out as well. Accepts cash & cards (with 3% charge) for payment. For people who want to stay in Hanoi Old Quarter, consider staying at Antique Angel Hotel!

There is nothing I didn’t like about the property.

Although we paid for the previous night our flight did not arrive until around 1.30am the following day. However, we took the offer from the hotel of a taxi to pick us up from the airport. This went very well. The hotel provided a picture of the pick up point with description and sure enough the driver was there waiting for us. We only had to pay the hotel the agreed price. The staff were knowledgeable about Hanoi. A special mention for Hanna who was so helpful during our stays. We planned to go on a round trip tour of North Vietnam over 14 days returning to the hotel. Individual trips can be organised by the hotel, however, Hanna advised us how we could combine our trip to Halong Bay and next stop Ninh Binh. The efficient comfortable transport was arranged for us. The location of the hotel was in the centre of the old district and within walking distance of many places of interest with loads of places to eat. We experienced 2 rooms on both our stays. They were both very clean and we did not find noise a problem. One of our trips was to Mega Grand World at Ocean park. Staff gave advice on how we could use the free bus service which goes to the shopping malls. On our first stay I forgot my wireless ear phones, however, these were safely put aside for our return to the hotel. On leaving we took advantage of the transport arranged by the hotel which again run like clockwork.

There is no breakfast option, however, this can be arranged by the hotel at a place across the road which was good. However, after the first day we chose to try some of the many eating places near the hotel.

The hotel itself had a lovely charm, with beautifully maintained rooms and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. What truly made the experience special was the staff—they were incredibly helpful, friendly, and always went the extra mile to ensure a comfortable stay. If you’re looking for a great place to stay with excellent service and a prime location, I highly recommend The Antique Angel Hotel. I would definitely stay here again!
