Best decision ever! This hotel is close to everything and the staff is incredible! Really helpful and we even made reservations for more nights because Hanoi turned out to be our base! We really enjoyed Halong bay trip that was organized by Mr Alex .

No elevator but that is very often with 2stars hotel

The room was spacious and as the pictures showed. The bathroom had a bathtub with a shower and everything was very clean. The beds were comfortable. The location is very convenient, close to the old quarter and everything we needed was reachable by foot. The best part was the owner Thomas who was so friendly and attentive. He gave us great tips for restaurants when we asked and helped with getting us to the bus to Sapa. While we didn't use the excursion booking service he offers (we didn't know and booked from Germany in advance) I am sure he will gladly help you book any bus or activity you like. Thank you Thomas for a great experience, we will come back if we ever return to Hanoi!

The staff are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to make your stay easy and comfortable. Especially when it comes to check-in and out. The beds are comfortable, which I appreciated, as I tried to get over my jet lag here. Toothpaste, toothbrushes and hand soap provided for you, including clean towels. The location is brilliant, especially if you'd like to visit the key sights of Hanoi. Also, have no fear if you are arriving very late or very early, the night receptionist will be able to let you in.

The only critique I have is that the water when taking showers was cold.

Very nice room, the people are very nice and the price is really good for what you good. Really hot shower, a nice balcony and pretty close to all hotspots.

The location is exceptional! Close to all main attractions, cafes and restaurants. Thomas , the manager, kindly accommodated my request of having a room facing the back of the building. He also helped me arrange transportation to pick me up at the airport and take me there for a very reasonable price. The room was very clean.

In general I am very happy with the property given the price I paid. But a few things to provide an even better experience would be to give free water to the guests; the lamp in my room was making a bit of a loud noise when turning it on (but it was fine cause I was there for a short time).

I had a wonderfully relaxing time at this cute hotel! Thomas who works there is extremely friendly, communicates perfectly in English and has accommodated me with every little thing I needed - from arranging my airport pick up, to helping me with my heavy luggage up the stairs in the middle of the night, to sorting my internet SIM, lending me travel guides and giving great restaurant recommendations. The hotel location is ideal - within walking distance of everything in the Old Quarter, but on a slightly quieter street - so my stay was really peaceful and convenient. It is also very close to a grocery store that is open 24h and to some culinary highlights of the area (including the popular Banh Mi 25). You can buy water, local SIM cards and book day trips directly from the reception. I am really grateful to Thomas and the rest of the staff for making me feel so welcome and looked out for on my solo trip to Hanoi. I will definitely be choosing this accommodation again the next time I visit!

Thomas is an absolute hero. The wifi didn’t work when we first arrived and he made it his mission to sort it asap which was great. He also booked us onto a tour of Ha Giang Loop with assurance it would only be a small group and it was! Got our laundry done for cheap too. Tea and Coffee available for free downstairs, water available to buy and any questions asked straight away. The room was well equipped and was nice and comfortable. Location only a few minutes from plenty of restaurants and right on a bustling street so you really feel immersed! If I were to return to Hà Nội, I’d come straight back to Moonlight Hotel.

We stayed in this hotel located in the center of Hanoi who is really easy to access at every places. The owners are really friendly people and helpful. Thomas the owner is tour officer, so he speak a really good english. We booked a cruise trip for Halong bay and a day in ninh binh at good price with him he recommended to us a really good company which is really safe and friendly.If you already booked a trip online you should known that they are working as factories and the customer are treated sometimes really bad in that case we were really happy to booked with Thomas who select only the professional company witch is respecting the customer. I recommend 100% for the professionalism of the owners.
