Its close walking distance to all the main points. the free buffet start 7am to 9am its nice perk specially for their omellet cook to order. The staff n receptionist very helpful..they upgrade us for first two night to family suite n very helpful with our needs. U can booked tour n airport transport from them price kinda similar with the tour agency. In the front of hotel there were convenience store that u can pay with card cause most places around there u need to pay cash. There is plenty of money exchange/ tour shop around..better rate than airport one. Recommended a pho small restaurant in front of the hotel..its very yummy with fresh soy milk n coconut water as their speciality. Download Grab app for transport n food delivery that link with credit card Bus travel its cheap cost mostly 7000 to 8000 dong per ride. pay cash to bus conductor. if u have less luggage took bus to airport much cheaper way,they have special bus to airport. if u going to Hanoi train street, walk bit further to the beginning..cause some people try to block u in certain entry point by pushing u to go to certain cafe,don't fall for it. Go to lotte observation tower if u want to see the whole Hanoi from top. it cost bit but its nice to relax there plus u can go to supermarket after for shopping. The location was good, central but not directly in the Hanoi chaos. Close to the train street. The breakfast looks simple, but in fact you can make a sandwich, they cook eggs the way you like it, a few types of fruit, coffee and tea, noodles - there are options.

It was ok for the money, not top notch though. There is a hostel next door so sometimes it got very loud in the night.

Comfortable stays. The hotel is very close to my in law's house so we stay in this hotel whenever we visit Hanoi. The hotel is getting older and definitely need some work done, especially the bathroom. However, it meets all the basic needs for a tourist.

The shower needs fixing, some room has weak water pressure, some has cracks. They need to be improved.

The hotel is located in the old quarter, within walking distance from the Sword Lake. The staff is very hospitable. Especially, the porter, who helps us carry our luggage inside and to the front door. The hotel also kindly lets us leave our luggage a while before we catch a taxi to airport.

The hotel’s building might be a bit old and the room not much spacious.

Great location, walking distance from tons of restaurants, shops and landmarks. My room had excellent, modern air conditioning and a mini fridge (great to keep your many water bottles, and empty bottles are replaced in your room every day). It was clean enough but won't meet high standards if that's what you're used to. Breakfast was quite decent, everything you need to get started with your day. They make you eggs on demand too. Staff was excellent. They speak English for the most part and are happy to answer questions or help you. Took little to no effort or time to ask them to replace the safe's batteries. They also booked me on a good street food tour and arranged a taxi for me to get to the airport for a fair price. One day, I didn't have time to eat breakfast before my tour, so they even gave me a little to-go box to fill up so that I could take some food with me on the 6h bus to Sa Pa. Amazing service. Honestly I had great time at this hotel, it was perfect for my needs. I recommend.

Unfortunately a very weirdly placed interior window facing the stair cage made sleeping a bit rough. I could hear anyone using the stairs. I think it was only in my room though.

The place has a great location and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. It’s modern without losing its charm. They provide little extras like coffee, water and toiletries, which was nice. They helped us set up transport and offered to plan activities for us. Location and hotel felt very safe for two young women traveling together, even as we came back late one night. The city gets pretty loud during the weekends, but the hotel was far enough from the buzz that is was quiet but no so far as it was still very walkable! Oh, and they provide a wonderful breakfast and we had a very early flight and they provided us with a take-away breakfast, which was so perfect and sweet of them!Highly recommend!

Our room didn’t have a window, which we didn’t realize, but we didn’t really mind. More outlets near bed, but this is something I feel for every hotel.

Room and bathroom very clean. Single bed in the triple share room was a slab of concrete to sleep on. Bath tub in the bathroom was coming off of the wall and was unstable to stand in. the bathroom flooded very easily due to this.

Location, the service and the breakfast. The staffs especially Mr Eric was very helpful and friendly. Room was a bit dated. We didn't mind since everything was functional. Room was spacious with a big bathroom. Air cond was cold and we were given additional standing fan for our family room. Very near to the mosque (for muslims) and Dong Xuan market.

We loved our stay at Diamond Legend Hotel! The rooms are very comfortable, HUGE bed and great shower! Very clean and had everything you need, including blow dryer, fridge and free bottled water every day. Personell was very helpful and friendly. Good breakfast too, they make you fresh eggs, there are fresh juices etc. The best thing about the hotel is it’s location! We could walk to every attraction in a short time, the longest way would take about 30min, so you save a lot on transportation! Would 100% recommend! We arrived earlier than check-in time and could store our bags there while we went out.

Would be great if you had an option to keep your towels for more than a day. Think of our environment :)

Great place to stay while in Hanoi, very close to most of the major attractions, laundry service nearby, away from major traffic noise, upgraded to balcony room with city view, tall ceiling, newly renovated, adequate breakfast with egg station, we stayed 4 nights, and the best part is their helpful staff, especially Eric, who organized our tours to Ninh Binh and Halong Bay at affordable prices. Very professional and responsive to our needs. Will stay at Diamond Legend Hotel again whenever I'm visiting Hanoi. Two thumbs up!
