I have been to Hanoi several times and of all the hotels in Old quarter i've stayed in, this is the best. Breakfast was amazing, room was so spacious and clean, staff were so welcoming and went out of their way to welcome us and assist us whenever needed.

on one night at 4.30am, the water supply went out. the staff on duty immediately woke up and tried to help us- in 30 minutes they got the water supply back. Very impressed by the efficiency and the dedication to ensure their guests have a comfortable stay. But don't worry about the water issue- they said its super rare and it was only the 2nd time happening. Apart from that- water was good and there is hot water in the shower as well as bathroom sink.

Great location, walking distance to everything we wanted to see. The staff was very nice and very helpful. They had closed the streets around the hotel while we were there so we were nervous about how to get to the taxi to get back to the airport. The lovely girl at reception whose name I unfortunately don't recall arranged for our taxi pickup and walked us through the crazy crowds, helping us with our luggage and stayed with us until the taxi driver found us. I am sure if she hadn't been on the phone with the taxi driver helping him navigate his way to us we would have been very late. Very grateful for her assistance. The hotel room was very clean and spacious and was a much appreciated quiet haven from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Both the manager and the reception staff are extremely customer-oriented. They were always ready and came up with plans to spend the days. They also organised excursions and any taxi rides. I have never experienced this level of service before. It is a great hotel, especially considering the price and it is located in the middle of the old centre from where you can easily visit everything within walking distance. We had the family room, there can easily sleep 7 people. The breakfast was well taken care of, you can choose your own breakfast from a menu.

I’m writing this review just before checking out so I don’t miss sharing any detail about the wonderful stay my family and I had at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely cared for — as if the staff already knew exactly what we needed. Jan at the reception was always one step ahead in making sure we had the best experience. Our trip started in Hanoi with one night here before heading to Sapa. With small children and the long train and bus journey, we were worried about handling all our luggage. But Jan immediately suggested keeping our extra bags safely at the hotel until we returned — a thoughtful gesture that made our travel stress-free. Breakfast was another highlight, with plenty of options and relaxing background music that set a calm tone for the day. On the first night, due to a technical issue, we couldn’t stay in the family suite we had booked. The hotel kindly arranged two cozy rooms with a European vibe instead. Once we returned from Sapa, our booked suite on the 8th floor was ready, and it exceeded expectations. With nearly 360-degree views through glass windows on three sides, it felt like a penthouse. The facilities were excellent: ample plug points, a large LCD screen that thrilled our children, even a weighing scale to check our luggage before departure. The suite had five large, comfortable beds and still plenty of open space. Cooling was perfect with both air conditioners and fans, making it one of the most comfortable rooms we’ve ever stayed in. This hotel is truly a hidden gem in the Old Quarter. It combines an unbeatable location with spotless cleanliness, 24-hour service, and staff who genuinely care. For families, it’s the perfect place to enjoy a relaxed and memorable stay right in the heart of Hanoi.

Really like the location which located in the Hanoi old quarter. The staff was very helpful during our 1 night stay. They also provide us the ground package to Sapa and other tourist attraction outskirts of Hanoi. Night market is just one road behind the hotel. Several Halal food restaurants are also nearby within walking distance. We went to have dinner at Al-Cuisinia (Pakistan Food) that cater a big group of 18 people like us. Will consider this place if we come back to Hanoi one day.

Nothing much to complain. Everything is good since we stay only one night for transit from Sapa.

The staff are beyond lovely. They will help you with any issue that you may encounter. I fell terribly ill and one day could not even get out of bed, they were kind enough to bring me Ginger tea as well as pho to my room. They have a breakfast menu that you can select from, i didnt order anything as I was extremely ill however my sister who joined me said they had great scrambled eggs. Beds are super comfortable.

The wifi is super spotty, it is not very good. Another key thing we noticed was that the hot water would run out, you would have super hot water then it would run out and you would have to wait for it warm up again.

Away from the centre of the Old Town, but still easy to access all the main attractions. The staff were helpful and the room was a good size with old style furnishings which complemented the old town atmosphere. It also had a small balcony looking out over the always lively street below. The room had tea and coffee making facilities.

The breakfast was included so good value for money, but the breakfast room was quite small and could be crowded. Breakfast was cooked to order with a modest choice covering both local and western tastes, but limited choice of other items in the buffet. Other minor niggles were that there was no seal around the bath, so water from a shower created a long-lasting puddle on the floor and the room safe was not working on arrival and had to be changed. Some towels were old, stained and worn through.

We stayed here 2 times and I would go there again and again. The staff is incredible, everything you need you can ask them. They also offer tours in Vietnam if you decided to visit other cities. In the morning you can also enjoy a breakfast in the restaurant. The position is perfect, you can walk for a while and everything you need is there. I would highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Hanoi! See you next time 100% sure

Me and my husband are travelling through Vietnam for leisure and we are super happy to have chosen this hotel!!! We could find a better place!! All the staff members are extremely friendly, especially Long Tran, Evelynn and the night guy who doesn't speak great English but is super cute and helpful anyways. The hotel is nice, very central, breakfast is great and they serve it even at 6.00 AM! The rooms are big, very clean (which is soooo good!), bed sheets are soft and mattresses super comfy. I slept like a baby The hotel manager, Long Tran, is very competent and professional. He takes such a good care of his guests, since you make the reservation he is by your side organizing the perfect stay in Vietnam. I relied on him to organize all our North Vietnam trip: his price are competitive and the excursions very well organized. We enjoyed Sapa, Ninh Binh and 2D-3N Halong bay cruise, thanks to him. Of course we also explored well Hanoi, by foot or short grab, because the hotel is in the old quarter. We totally recommend this hotel and his staff. If coming back to Hanoi, for sure we will choose Little Town again & thank you!

Good hotel for a short stay in Hanoi! Ideal location in the old quarter. Comfortable bed and good breakfast. Perhaps a little outdated than what it looks like in the pictures? That did however not detract from our stay. Helpful staff always ready to help.

If you are a light sleeper this hotel might not be for you - the central location does mean constant traffic noise, which only gets quieter after 11pm and before 6am. We slept throughout the night as we were super tired from our trip but this might be something you want to consider.
