Fantastic staff! We left our bags at the hotel during a Ha Long Bay cruise and again on the day of check out. We also got to shower after check out at the spa before our flight which we really appreciated after a day in the city. Breakfast has lots of options, location if great and rooms are spacious and clean.

Had a bit of an uncomfortable situation at the spa when the spa staff told us to tip and then told us our tip was "very small". We had given them all the cash we had left as we were just about to head to the airport and leave Vietnam. It made us feel very uncomfortable and soiled the spa experience a bit.

I stayed at Hanoi Garden Hotel and Spa for five nights, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. The hotel is perfectly located in the Old Quarter – close to everything, yet peaceful and charming. My room was cozy and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious every day, and the whole atmosphere of the hotel made me feel completely at home. A very special thank you to Anna at the front desk, who made my stay extra memorable. She was not only professional and efficient, but also incredibly warm, helpful, and welcoming. She helped me solve several small issues a gave a lot of good advice during my stay in a way that was both kind and competent. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone. I will definitely come back next time I’m in Hanoi.

Excellent stay overall, modern facilities which was in contrast to other hotels we visited in Hanoi.

The choices available during breakfast were a bit limited, which is why the hotel gets a 9/10. Having said that, the breakfast was still much better than any other place we stayed at in Hanoi.

Hotel staff were amazing. Always ready to help and with a smile. Room very clean and bed linen and towels changed daily. Reception is happy to give tips/advice and arrange trips, taxi’s etc. Not too noisy but in the middle of the “Old Quarter” so everything is nearby. Frankly, hard to fault! Highly recommended!

The location is a 10/10 right in the heart of the old quarter of Hanoi - we stepped out of the hotel and could walk everywhere easily. The staff were very kind and on the last morning instead of having the breakfast buffet they had made us chicken pho from scratch. It was incredible (wished we had it every morning!) There are coffee shops on every corner, women pushing old bikes laden down with fresh flowers and delicious food at every turn.

The bathroom was a little rough - the shower didnt drain properly. But it was adequate

*Perfect location, warm and friendly staff* The hotel is in a great location and everything you want to see in Hanoi is within walking distance or a short cab ride away. The room was comfortable and clean. The buffet breakfast was delicious and had great Vietnamese options. The staff were warm and friendly, especially Chloe who arranged our ride from the airport (we landed at 2am) and back, had a chat with us each day during breakfast, arranged our trip to Ha Long Bay and helped us with some friendly tips like where to find ATMs. In fact, all the staff members were kind and helpful, like the other daytime front office manager who helped us choose a day trip (to Ninh Binh) and the restaurant staff who even sliced and packed our fruits in a box for our day trip!

The staff were so helpful and attentive, the Reception is manned 24hrs a day and someone is always there to give a good restaurant recommendation or a translation if you need. The room was so, so quiet- we were a bit worried about all the scooter and street noise, but the room couldn't have been more peaceful. Also, we really loved the soft mattress and powerful shower.

Lovely family run hotel in the heart of Hanoi old town, with all amenities within a minute walk, Banh Mi 25 just round the corner. Hotel with beautiful and tasty decor, rooms are clean, comfy bedding, breakfast are simple but no less than what I need to have a good start of the day, order to make scrambled eggs etc are really surprise me with the skill of the lady chef, 5* Friendly staffs not only takes care us in hotel but helping to organise wonderful cruise and all transport, I must give credit to Chloe, a lovely beautiful girl who really made our stage and tour a big difference, James, a handsome young man alway helpful and will ready a handy bags with bottle water and fruit everyday when we out for tours

One of our room shower handle are loose and I am sure this can be fixed once reported

The staff were fantastic, such a nice team who were attentive and made sure we were well looked after (even before we arrived). Every day Chloe would check in on us and see if we needed any assistance or if we had plans. We could not fault the service we received. The location of the property is great, within walking distance of pretty much everything you need in Hanoi. Bedrooms were spacious and clean with all the necessary amenities and we had a small balcony. There wasn't a huge breakfast offering, but sufficient for the size of the property.

Great location, excellent service. Chloe and Ben are very nice people, they went above and beyond and did everything we asked for. They also made us breakfast to go when we checked out 7 in the morning, which was really thoughtful and sweet.This hotel is at central location and very close to all the tourist attractions in Hanoi. They also have decent breakfast spread. Excellent spa service.Banh Mi 25 is just around the corner.I would definitely recommend this hotel for a family, couple, friends and solo travelers.

Property is a bit dated, renovation required in near future. But it’s not really a negative thing I would say about them, just a recommendation perhaps to bring more business for the hotel.
