I had a wonderful stay at Hanoi Golden Hotel! The room was very comfortable, clean, and well-maintained—perfect for a relaxing rest after a long day of exploring. The staff provided excellent customer service and were always ready to help with anything we needed. Whether it was tour advice or small requests, they were incredibly kind and supportive. They even gave us free water bottles to take with us while traveling, which was such a thoughtful gesture. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay in Hanoi. Truly a great experience!

The place was overall clean and good value for your money. We stayed only one night and everything was provided for us, including coffee/tea, towels, and toothbrush. It is in a good location, near beer street and lots of makets. At night, there was a night makert that opened 1 street away.

It is hard to get to since it is hidden in an alleyway. The washroom is quite small and if you are tall, your knees will hit the wall.

The staff were extremely helpful - in particular Thu who let us stay after checkout to wait for our bus and Peter who patched up my wounds after I asked for a first aid kit.

We liked most things about the property - the only negative was I’d suggest not booking busses/ transport through them. We paid for the more expensive bus to Hue to have a comfortable journey - the tour company they use are extremely unorganised and the coach itself was extremely uncomfortable and cramped.

Staff, staff staff. Honestly I've never been greeted in such a polite and welcoming way before. They have someone to open doors for you, we got a welcome tea whilst we waited to check in. They showed us up to our room and let us know about the spa options, breakfast and dinner. It was seamless and they were all SO friendly. I couldn't fault them at all!

When we got to our room it was a lot smaller than it looked on the pictures but to be honest, the staff were so accommodating and lovely that I didn't even feel like I needed to say anything. Shows how good customer service goes a long way! They even made a heart on our bed. So nice.

This is the perfect place just to sleep and a good value for money. The staff; Nam (Peter) and the other lady (I unfortunately don’t remember her name) are so friendly! They organised a bike for us (200k p/d) and got the room cleaned/change of towels when we asked. If cleanliness is a priority for you, this hotel is 100%. Absolutely nothing fancy but the room and bathroom were very clean. It can be a bit tricky to find so if you struggle, put the gps to “briques” is a cafe about 5m away from the hotel (see pictures) Thanks again to Peter for being so great!

Nothing that I disliked, just things to note room is just a room that you will use to sleep/shower in as there isn’t a lot of space but it has everything you need.

The room is small but it got everything you need*. The location is great as well. The staff was super friendly and helpful, they let me borrow a knife to make my sandwiches and always asked if there where something else they could help me with. Thu gave me a very nice welcome. They spoke surprisingly good English as well so communicating wasn't a problem at all.

*The toilet is to small, you can't sit straight on it, so you have to sit sideways, and that's kind of awkward. Not really any parking, but there is a parking garage close by so not really a problem. A little bit hard to find, it's hidden in an alley with just a small sign outside.

The best thing about this hotel was the staff! we checked in late after midnight and Peter was very responsive to check us in. And then Thu was great when helping us to book Halong Bay trip! I definitely recommend staying here. Clean and comfortable rooms in a great central location in the Old Quarter.

The entrance is down a small alley so you need to look out for the sign. Not really an issue as the location on maps is correct, but good to know so you don't walk past it like we did!!

Hanoi Golden Hotel’s location is remarkable! It is in the heart of the old/ French quarter, minutes away from countless parts of Hanoi’s epic history, cuisine and nightlife. Mr. Mark and Ms. Thu are very friendly and helpful! They helped me exchange money, do laundry, gave me directions and offer great deals on tours. The hotel is also in a quiet location, has strong wifi, aircon and very comfy beds (some beds in SE Asia are hard - but not these!). I will definitely be back!

Everything was great!

very friendly staff, expecialy the girl at the reception - she saved our day and next flight! We forgot our passports from the safebox, a quick phone call was enough and she promptly sent a second driver with our documents to the airport - wow! In addition, such a smiling and willing to talk person like her I have never met at the front desk of any hotel - mega plus :) Of course, she was not the only one who was helpful and smiling, but with her we had the most pleasure to talk ;)

The relation price-quality is excellent. The staff is really nice, specially Thu (the day receptionist on the days I stayed). Always helpful and with a smile. It made me feel at home and welcomed here. The location is right in the city center, making everything in a walking distance. You enter through an alley so the first time might be difficult to find, but I like it because it keeps the hotel away from the street noises.
