Property was very clean and tidy. The staff (Thu and Peter) were the best people we met in Hanoi. They are amazing and friendly and helped us out so much when we had many questions. Thu especially helped with when I had an issue with my flight. They went above and beyond . The hotel was extremely great value for money and very clean. I would say it’s perfect for solo travelers more than families in terms of space but I was with a big family so I cannot complain. Highly recommended 10/10

The property was very clean and spacious. Staff was friendly and accommodating as I was unwell they went the extra mile to check in on my wellbeing. My tv did not work and they had me moved to an upgraded room with a working tv. THU was an excellent receptionist there for all my needs and always a breathe of fresh air to talk too. Totally recommend.

Being in the room by the reception at night can be loud. Guests and staff being friendly causes lots of conversations which has woken me up. But overall bearable. Life is for conversation not silence I guess ha.

Great location. A bit hard to find on the first time since it is inside a small alley. But thanks to that, the hotel is surprisingly calm since the hotel is set a back from the main road. Room is a bit small but as excepted considering the price. The greatest part of this hotel is the staff, warm welcome, helpful and available. They gave me great advices for planning and booking activities throughout my stay. You can directly book trip to other well-known destination from here (Sapa, Ha Long bay, ...). They propose different programs at your convenience. I definitely recommend this place

I had a wonderful stay at Hanoi Golden Hotel! The room was very comfortable, clean, and well-maintained—perfect for a relaxing rest after a long day of exploring. The staff provided excellent customer service and were always ready to help with anything we needed. Whether it was tour advice or small requests, they were incredibly kind and supportive. They even gave us free water bottles to take with us while traveling, which was such a thoughtful gesture. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay in Hanoi. Truly a great experience!

I truly appreciate the staff here. The receptionist, Ms. Thu, did an excellent job ,she always checked in on us and greeted us with a warm, friendly smile. That level of care is something I’ve never experienced at any other hotel. The room was also very clean and fully equipped with everything you might need. Thank you so much for the great service .I would definitely recommend this place to others and would love to come back in the future.

The hotel is ideally located in the heart of the Old Quarter – perfect for exploring Hanoi’s charming streets. There are plenty of food options nearby with a wide variety. The rooms are clean, well-equipped, and the price is very reasonable for the quality. Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and hot water all work perfectly. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful – early check-in was no problem at all. Overall, a very pleasant stay – highly recommended for anyone visiting Hanoi!

The place was overall clean and good value for your money. We stayed only one night and everything was provided for us, including coffee/tea, towels, and toothbrush. It is in a good location, near beer street and lots of makets. At night, there was a night makert that opened 1 street away.

It is hard to get to since it is hidden in an alleyway. The washroom is quite small and if you are tall, your knees will hit the wall.

The staff were extremely helpful - in particular Thu who let us stay after checkout to wait for our bus and Peter who patched up my wounds after I asked for a first aid kit.

We liked most things about the property - the only negative was I’d suggest not booking busses/ transport through them. We paid for the more expensive bus to Hue to have a comfortable journey - the tour company they use are extremely unorganised and the coach itself was extremely uncomfortable and cramped.

I had a really great experience at this accommodation. The room was clean and had air conditioning and a hot shower, which is much appreciated in Vietnam. It's right in the heart of the Old Quarter, offering peace and quiet while still being very close to the main streets. The hosts were super friendly and attentive throughout my stay; they even helped us arrange transportation to our next destination. I would definitely stay here again!

Staff, staff staff. Honestly I've never been greeted in such a polite and welcoming way before. They have someone to open doors for you, we got a welcome tea whilst we waited to check in. They showed us up to our room and let us know about the spa options, breakfast and dinner. It was seamless and they were all SO friendly. I couldn't fault them at all!

When we got to our room it was a lot smaller than it looked on the pictures but to be honest, the staff were so accommodating and lovely that I didn't even feel like I needed to say anything. Shows how good customer service goes a long way! They even made a heart on our bed. So nice.
