The bed was comfortable and clean. As a backpacker, I stinks most of the time, and my bed too... But when so, I just come down stair to the receptionist and ask for new sheets. I'm 5'8 and think the bed is ok for me. Can use toilet from other floors. Big thanks to chị Trang and chị Lê. They took care of me and gave me good places to eat. The hostel don't provide breakfast, but my time staying here, other hostel friends bring/ bought food and share with each other. They provide coffee and tea in the morning. I met a lot of friends here. We didn't know each other. We came from different places in the world, from different walks of like. Just come down to the common area's table, sit, say "hi" to others, "how was your day?" or "what's your plan for today?" are good starters, after that, let the vibes lead the conversation. One night, we clicked so good, we talked until 2am. Instead of telling us to get back to our dorm, chị Lê just told us to move somewhere else for other stayers to rest. She's a good person, and if my eavesdropping was right, she's kinda a big thing academically. I did walking my whole time here. Good food places are all in Old Quarter so really easy to go there. Besides as a Viet, I know most of cool places in Hanoi are in this area too.

I didn't like I have to leave too early. I didn't like the post-vacation blue I have right now. I miss the bros and sis I met at the common area, the stories we shared, the jokes we made, the weird conversation we have, the connection we got,... I hate the fact that my stay here was too memorable. I swear this is not AI written or paid review :)))). Excuse my robot writing-voice.

Aircon was nice, location very central, one of the cheaper prices I've paid for a hostel in Hanoi but should be worth so much more!! Staff very friendly and cool facilities in hostel. WiFi reliable. Very clean. I liked how the bathroom and toilet were separate to stop traffic at the bathroom. Large lockers and slippers provided. Blinds in bed gave a very private feel.

Female dorm was an open space on the 1st floor where everyone had to walk through to get to their rooms, i.e. men would have to walk through the female dorm to get to their dorm.

This place is perfect. It’s located right in the old quarter. The price is affordable, kitchen and rooms are spacious with good facilities. Furthermore, the staffs are incredibly helpful and friendly. The bathroom is quite small but it’s not a big deal though. Highly recommend ^^

Amazing stay, the staff were so accommodating and friendly and deserve a full pay rise. They helped me book taxis and grabs to important appointments. Advised me on dental practices in the area and were just the most lovely people. All 3 of the staff were so perfect I can't really put it into words. They let me change rooms due to a snorer and gave me a bed with a fan as I struggled with the heat and I slept so well. The hostel is tucked away just off the old town so it's nice and peaceful. With a great common area for socialising and great facilities to store food and cook Would 100% recommend

The location is perfect, in the center of the Old Quarter, within walking distance of everything and anything you need, yet, it's in a quiet spot. The hostel has a home feeling to it, with a piano, lounging areas, and a kitchenette, surrounded by local homes with an authentic and beautiful Hanoian view. The dorm has huge windows allowing for sunlight. The beds have privacy with shades and private lights. The staff is nice, speaking very good English, 24h helpful reception, and the cleaning lady is so decent, always wearing a smile. The only downside was that for a dorm of 12 beds, there was only one toilet, yet it was fine throughout the stay.

The hostel is always very clean, the staff specially the receptionists are angels, they are there always to support you and help you with the craziest requests. I was walking close by on Saturday night and someone in the crowd stole my phone from my backpack pocket. You guys can imagine the mess this was for me but, the guy at the lobby went with me all the way to the police station, translated everything, next whole day they all were helping me to get new Sim Card and supporting me with the whole situation, I am deeply grateful with them. Their attitude always joyful, some of them offer us fruits in the morning and even sang with us next to this beautiful piano they have in the reception. Beds are comfortable, huge and have curtain for privacy.

The hostel doesn't have lots of space like to chill or work but, whatever it has I felt it was enough for us. The showers are very small and heard some people complaining about it but again, nothing you cant really manage.

Very quiet hostel when we stayed which we loved, but it's so open that it only takes one loud person to wake everyone up so bare that in mind if you're a light sleeper. Beds were large and comfortable. Staff were really friendly. Kitchen facilities were great.

The shower only had hooks that were really high up meaning we struggled to hang up our towel when showering. The ladders were pretty uncomfortable to climb. The top bunk got pretty warm overnight because it was behind a lowed area of ceiling.

I loved my stay at this hostel, so much that I extended my time. The location is perfect, right in the centre of the Old Quarter but inside a quiet alleyway away from all the action. The beds are cosy, it’s very clean and I especially loved how there is a kitchen to prepare food, tea and coffee - something I haven’t seen in other hostels I’ve stayed at in Vietnam. There is a really nice vibe here, it’s easy to be social and I felt comfortable working on my laptop in the common area or on the balconies. The staff are so friendly and helpful. I will definitely come back when I’m in Hanoi again!

The standout feature is definitely the central location - you're surrounded by great hangout spots, shopping centers, and even Train Street is just a quick Grab ride away. The hostel itself is set slightly off the main road (motorcycle renters: plan for parking), but this makes it surprisingly quiet. Great perks like free water refills (rare in hostels!) and comfy beds. The first floor has a compact but functional shared space - perfect for eating, working, or just chilling. For an urban explorer, this place hits the sweet spot between convenience and value.

"The hostel has some practical drawbacks—you’ll need to climb a few flights of stairs (no elevator), the bathroom lack locks, and the tiny washbasins leave the floor soaked. They also charge a full day’s rate for early check-in, though we didn’t mind much since the prices were low to begin with. These quirks are manageable for budget travelers, but don’t expect luxury.

I loved the staff here, they were so friendly and helpful. There is coffee and tea in the morning and bannana. The location is excellent with great places to eat and drink and plenty of coffee shops on your door step, as the hostel is set back there is no noise from the street. The facilities are clean, beds are very roomy and comfortable, showers are good. and there is a balcony for smokers.I would stay here again without hesitation.

I loved my stay, and there is nothing I can fault, however if you struggle with stairs that could be a problem as there are four floors and the dorms are up stairs.
