the property was so wonderfully central! 15 minute walk from everything! super clean and nice simple rooms! But what made the trip was the wonderful staff! we arrived at 1am having booked the hostel incorrectly for the next night and lovely Chris called around and found us a room a 10 minute walk away! Our flight was then cancelled and the wonderful staff let us keep our bags at the hostel all day while waiting for our new flight! They also proved an extensive map and list of everything good in the area with opening times and distance! genuinely 10/10 service

could maybe do with some black out blinds in the rooms as they don’t get super dark until it’s dark outside.

I initially booked for Aug 20-22, but I was able to extend my stay until the 24th. The staff were amazing. Shout out to Tom and James especially for giving tips and locations for sightseeing, and great recommendations for the best local food spots. They also made it easy to extend my booking, and organised airport pickup for convenience. The accommodation is also central in the Old Quarter--it's literally walking distance everywhere unless you want to visit the city area. Highly recommended this place as it has everything you need--especially for solo travellers.

Only thing that caught me by surprise is the lack of an elevator. I was able to get around this personally, but if you're bringing a lot of heavy luggage, then it might be something to consider. Otherwise, it's a place I would personally be returning to for value and convenience.

We had such a wonderful stay at this hostel in Hanoi. What really stands out is the kindness and friendliness of the entire staff, they always have a smile on their faces and speak perfect English, which makes everything so easy. Upon arrival, they even provide you with a very helpful guide full of recommended restaurants and tips to explore the city in the best way possible. They also arranged a taxi to pick us up from the airport with an excellent driver, which made our arrival smooth and stress-free. Both nights we stayed, we arrived quite late, yet the receptionist stayed up waiting for us. Far from being tired or unfriendly, he welcomed us with a big smile that immediately made us feel at home. We stayed for two separate nights, and during the days in between they kindly kept our luggage free of charge, which made our trip so much easier. I couldn’t be more grateful for their help. As for the hostel itself, it’s definitely great value for money: the air conditioning works perfectly, the location is unbeatable (you can walk to all the main attractions), and the overall atmosphere is welcoming. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Hanoi, this is the one. Highly recommended!

The staff and especially Tom was extremely helpful in booking us tours and giving us local recommendations for sightseeing and restaurants. They provide really fantastic customer service. The location is fantastic and very central. The price was well worth it for us!

Everything was good for us. For others it may be worth noting that there is no elevator (we were on the fourth floor) and that, as is common here, using the showers wets the entire bathroom.

We loved our stay here. The property is in a great location, we stayed in the “superior room” (on the top floor) and it has a little balcony to look out from to the street. Tom, Zui (this may not be spelt right!) and all the other staff are super kind and helpful with offering advice on places to visit. They are excellent hosts. it has air conditioning, powerful fans and wifi, the beds are comfy and the small showers in rooms are perfect. this is not 5star luxury, but it’s fantastic for a hostel and very well priced. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Hanoi old quarter.

it’s loud at night in the street. But this is to be expected in Hanoi old quarter and no fault of the hostel or it’s staff. this was fine for us, but if you’re a light sleeper Hanoi old quarter may not be for you. Also - please put a chair on the balcony so the next guests in the room can enjoy a seat there!

Very good location in the middle of old quarter. Clean and comfortable room. We stayed 6 nights and had a very pleasant stay. But most of all is the the staff (10/10!), very friendly and helpful, with a special thanks to Tom who helped us to find a way to get to the airport, us 4 and our 4 bikes !

The location was immaculate. The staff were very helpful, and no words exist to express my gratitude for letting me check in a few hours earlier after a long bus trip. I loved the bohemian sense of the rooms. I'd definitely stay here again.

The location of the hotel is very good, all the nearby places are within 1 Km walking distance. We were there for 3 nights, had a very memorable experience. The hotel manager Mr. Tom helped us a lot. He provided us with maps and helped us plan our visit to all nearby places. He had suggested the best places to eat authentic food, good shopping streets. Our check-in time was 2pm, but since we had reached early he also made sure we got the room 2 hours before the scheduled time. Towards the end of stay, he also helped us with last moment currency exchange.

hotel room was clean and came with all extra little amenities you could ask for. bed was really comfy and the balcony was perfect to watch all the life go by outside. a really central location to everything! Tom the receptionist was amazing, truly the most helpful person I’ve ever met he helped us arrange transfers and if we needed anything else during our stay was the first to help. The other two gentlemen at reception were also amazing and the kindest people we’ve met. would 100% stay again if coming back to Hanoi. thank you for a lovely stay :)

Great service, the room was cozy and perfectly clean, the sheets smelt amazingly, freshly washed. The receptionist was super friendly and helpful, a special thanks to him for organizing an amazing evening in Hanoi. The location is also great, lots of tourist places around.
