Location is great in the middle of the old quarter. But this street is also quieter and you won’t hear much noise.

It was clean in general but dusty and the bathroom didn’t smell good. My room was in a 6th floor without lift.

The staffs were outstanding. They made sure we were well taken care of. They made our stay comfortable and assisted us with all our needs including the airport transfers. Superb location right at the heart of Hanoi Old Quarter. Walking distance to many shops, food places and spas, just right exactly what we needed. The best thing for us so far is that they have water heater and bidet. Basic things we look out for in considering an accommodation.

The hotel has no lift but we were lucky to get a room on the 3rd floor so we didn't actually mind it. Not to worry about bringing your luggages because the staffs were very happy to help carry your things to the room.

The location of the property was brilliant for the old town. I’d totally recommend this hotel for this and also for its beds. The mattress and bedding were so luxurious that you just felt enveloped. The staff were kind and friendly.

Having paid for a sky view room there were a couple of things which came as a surprise. Firstly no lift and our room being on the sixth floor was a bit of a trial when you arrive with luggage! There are I guess two sky rooms (there are two rooms on the top floor and every floor) but having been allocated 602 we couldn’t open the curtains as our window at the front looked straight out to the next building. It wasn’t worth the extra effort with the stairs or the additional money.

A very nice room with everything we needed: towels, a little fridge, WiFi, free little bottles of water... Staff was kind and helpful, they booked a tour and the water puppets for us. Location is excellent, in the middle of the Old Quarter. They kept our luggage when we checked out.

WiFi didn't work really well in our room. The wardrobe was dusty and there were shorts inside that didn't belong to us, and a broken lamp. We liked the experience of the Halong Bay cruise they booked for us, but the boat was old and the cabin had mushrooms in the bathroom! The pipe was broken and they were growing there. So maybe check another option for the Halong Bay Cruise...

Location was excellent once you found the property ..tucked into the maze of the Old Quarter. Lovely staff .. sweet & accommodating. Good sized room. Nice hot water as the temperature was 🥶.

Listing is a little deceiving to speak of a room with city view … I was on the 6th floor (no elevator 😳) .. the view was obstructed and over the bed. 6 flights of spiral staircase.. a challenge … Lots of noise from the street and other guests .. not soundproof ..

Beautiful old colonial style building and rooms! In the center of town but quiet, amazingly helpful staff, with the rooms, exchange, information, booking activities and whatever! We came back!

The first night we had to stay on the 5th floor with no lift! But we were able to move down the next day. Bathrooms were a bit run down, one room had very low water pressure, and in another room it looked like the bathroom ceiling is about to fall in. ( it didn't). No lounge area, only a small lobby at entrance.

Nothing we didn't like but a little tip: Taking a right when you come out of the hotel will take you down a busy touristy road (especially at night). If you take a left instead you will find it gets slightly quieter and there are better restaurants

The location is great - super central yet quiet. The beds were comfortable and the staff very friendly. If you are reasonably physically fit, you won't mind that the hotel doesn't have a lift.

The bathroom unfortunately had black mould in several places, which also left a slightly musty smell. Unfortunately, we couldn't use the fridge either as it was also infested with mould.

I stayed here for 7 nights while adjusting to the 14 hour time difference from the USA. The bed was quite comfortable and I slept well. Place is close to numerous restaurants and I often had an egg salad sandwich on multigrain bread for breakfast at the coffee shop just across the street. Staff was very nice and carried my heavy duffle bag up to my room. Staff ordered my lunch for me on arrival and brought it up to my room as I was very tired from over 30 hours of travel time. They arranged airport pickup and my transport to Cat Ba Island and also a taxi for a medical appointment. I plan to return there prior to my flight to Phu Quoc.

The other guests usually talked very loudly when walking up or down the stairs, even at midnight or 6 am.

Lovely room that was very clean and fresh (no musty or damp smell and I have a very sensitive nose). Staff were amazing, welcoming, helpful and kind. They allowed us to check in early which was very much appreciated because we were very tired after our early morning flight. Airport pick up was seamless. Location is close to everything in the old quarter.

Only a minor inconvenience - Very low water pressure in the shower - it was more like a mist, and completely stops if you hold the shower at head height. We were told however that it varies at different times of the day.
