Extremely clean. All staff very friendly and helpful. Great AC. Breakfast included, small but tasty and cute - we liked having this on the roof. Included laundry service was reasonably priced and quick. Room was lovely once we upgraded. Very quiet considering it is next to beer street. For other travellers - finding it can be hard but we were helped by another comment. It is down a very long alleyway right at the end. It is by number 22 on the street and sandwiched between two food places.

The original room we were assigned was absolutely tiny. Unless you are okay with a small room (which in the old quarter is quite common) please book the deluxe room it is significantly bigger and so much better if you are 6ft+ or don’t like being in small spaces. We upgraded once we were there at a very reasonable price but just get this room in the first instance. Is a little bit expensive once upgrade price factored in but not unreasonable as the location is fantastic. So easy to get around.

We had a lovely two night stay in room 702 as part of the end of our trip in Vietnam. The hotel is tucked off of the street (see photo). Don’t be alarmed by beer street noise as this hotel you can not hear anything! The customer service from Tracy and An Tuong was exceptional. Our clothes were cleaned and back in time for our flight in the final day. Overall if I came back I wouldn’t hesitate the stay here.

Breakfast wasn’t the greatest. Service was perfect but the coffee is cold, yogurt was out of date/tasted off, & needs improvement. It was still good value but not for what we had other places in Vietnam.

There are many hotels in Hanoi in this price range. The Cosy one of the best! The staff are super welcoming, helpful, and kind. The hotel had an elevator - helpful in the tight hotels of the Old Quarter. The room was in excellent shape. Good size TV for the room. Internet was solid throughout the stay. Bathroom was spacious and clean. Hot and cold water. The breakfast included was pretty darn good; located on the top floor, it had good views of the city. Its a small thing, but many of the hotel rooms in Vietnam use a room key to control power to the room when you are in it. Most times the fridge stops working when you leave the room - NOT HERE! A nice touch that shows the well thought out nature they put into designing this place. It is located in a small ally off a main street, takes 30 seconds to be in the 'action.' There is lovely accent lighting in the room as well - a nice perk. Thanks for a great stay John.

The hotel location is difficult to find. It is located 30m down a 4' wide ally that has a sign for 'Spa' above the entrance. You will see the hotel once looking down the alley. Google maps is hit or miss when approaching. A perk of this offset location is that you are close to the action of the Old Quarter but the noise is muted a lot considering its location.

We had an excellent experience staying here. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, even when we arrived late due to travel delays. A special thanks to John, the owner, who was so kind and genuinely caring—he made us feel right at home. The location was perfect—central to everything and ideal for exploring. Breakfast each morning was absolutely delicious, with plenty of fresh and tasty options. Our room was very cosy but, it was spotless, and super comfortable, had everything you needed. Highly recommend this place. We’ll definitely be back!

The room and bath were nice, clean and well-maintained. Staff was superb. Tracy at reception days and John, manager, were exceptional, welcoming, accomodating, and very helpful in providing local information and language help. The breakfast was excellent, good choices prepared individually by the kitchen, service, and a buffet that featured daily selection of fruit including some tropical specialties. The rooftop dining area with city views a big plus. All around a most pleasant place to stay! Note, it may be a bit difficult to notice the hotel entryway. Among a number of restaurants with tables on the street, there is an address #22 above a door to a long hallway, at the end of the hall find the wonderful Cosy Inn.

Staff were excellent and very friendly (Tracey and Lucy and another lady whose name I did get), hotel is tucked out the way but is also in the heart of the chaos of Hanoi. Was on the 4th floor, I reckon there’s a small chance you might get a bit of noise from the street on some of the floors but didn’t have any issues myself. TV was good, Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video. WiFi solid throughout.

Not really a fault of the hotel but there was another guest smoking in the hallways. Was hard to find when I first arrived.

When we arrived we were not 100% satisfied since the room was very small and from the pictures on booking - this is not a bad thing just you need to be aware. We didn’t complain but asked if there was another room available. Tracy was really kind and without asking from our side she talked to the hotel manager who granted us another room without charging us more money! The staff we got to know - Tracy and Tina but also the men at the breakfast (whose name I don’t know) were always helpful, kind and had a smile on their face! The location and the breakfast are great and I would definitely recommend a stay here! 🙂

Everything about the Cosy Inn Hotel was amazing. The staff went above and beyond to make my trip pleasant. Tracey in particular, (the receptionist) was the best. She helped me book Halong bay day tour and made it so easy for me. She also sent me a list of local food spots and landmarks to go see while in Hanoi. She helped me with my sim card, my laundry, directions... She always went out of her way to ensure my trip was as good as it could be. Tracey is the best of the best. Room was spacious, silent & super clean. TV has Netflix & YouTube. Perfect for after a big day of adventuring through beautiful Vietnam, As an AussieI would recommend this amazing gem. So close to everything location wise as well. 10/10 experience. Thank you Cosy Inn Staff & Tracey thank you for going out of your way for me. Appreciate you all and can't wait to stay at the Cosy Inn again ASAP God willing. Brandon Raeli

This was in such a fantastic location, close to everything and easy to get to, we did arrive on a very busy night and it was a bit hectic trying to navigate through all the people however that didn’t interfere with the stay, the rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff where lovely and Tracy made it very easy for us to check out.

Nothing, it was perfect. Just keep in mind that it is located on a busy street at night.

the staff at the cozy are fantastic. Tracey, John, Ha, Rose, Cloudy. all go out of their way to make you feel welcome, support, help and guide you on your trip. from the morning i came down to the reception they went above and beyond. i can not praise them enough. aside the location is right in the heart of the old town and a short walk to all the main sites, restaurants and nightlife. you can book all the day trips you would like from the hotel. they give you recommendations for places to see and eat. if i was going back to hanoi i would book the cozy hotel 100%. just good people.
