No restaurant. We were delighted with the staff. Very kind - they upgraded our room & we were so pleased we stayed an extra 3 days & will return from our visit to SaPa for 2 more nights before moving onto Denang. The location was absolutely Perfect. We were able to walk everywhere in the old quarter - no need for cabs. But when we wanted to use a cab the staff would call trusted operators for us. All front people spoke excellent English. And very best of all was the Travel Agent who book our entire package for SaPa, our flight to DeNang, our day trip to DeLong, & even our return trip from DeNang to Bangkok!!! Before returning to Canada.

Cannot think of anything that wasn’t perfect.

I don't need luxury when I travel, especially traveling alone. So I tend to seek out budget hotels. I do need: GOOD WI-Fi for my work, HOT water, and AC. Posh provide all of the above, and then impressed me with a tub, a big comfortable bed, and a good workspace in the room. And also, electric outlets next to the bed! Many places cannot seem to get this basic thing right. Who wants to charge their phone on the other side of the room? The staff is amazing and friendly. Lum, the owner, is always cheerful and helpful. Great guy. Even though I was traveling alone, I would also choose to stay here if I was traveling with a partner.

Honestly, the only things that I would have any issue with was the door hardware on the balcony entrance. But it really wasn't a problem. Just a touch more maintenance would solve any issue. I was impressed with how things were in such good shape given the age of the building.

The room is very spacious, we have the room on 6th floors and with the 180 degree of city views! Location is excellent, in the heart of old quater walking distance to cafe, shops, night market etc. This hotel is classic and in an old French building which we do understand not in new condition, but the owner is currently upgrading, rénovating and painting the whole hotel give it a refresh look! The owner Lam and the staffs are very friendly and nice peoples, we will definitely come back again in the future 😊

The hotel staff were all kind and entertained my questions and concerns. I had a stress-free stay at the hotel. The owner even facilitated securing my car service in going to the airport during my flight back home.

They could have been more proactive in cleaning the rooms. I stayed for several days and the towels were replaced only once, and it was upon request. Replacement of towels should be done at least every two days; ideally, every day!

This hotel is in a great location within walking distance of most of the attractions in Hanoi. Lam and his team Kièn, Mai & Tuèn are amazing. Always super friendly and always greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. I booked 4 trips with the hotel and they were excellent. Was sad to leave, and I would highly recommend for a great base in the heart of Hanoi and for tours. Thank you, Lam, and to your team for making my stay a memorable one.

Property is a bit dated but the location, price and team make up for it.

The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room had an exceptional amount of space. The staff made this visit special; Kien was so friendly and always a great person to talk to. He also gave us recommendations for food and markets. We loved him. Also, the owner Dao was very helpful and friendly too.

We came during the Christmas period so it was cold. When looking closer, a panel was missing from one of the windows, meaning it was very cold. However, this was unknown to the staff; a previous guest must have broken it and left it unannounced. We let the staff know and they said they would fix it.

Room with windows has view of the city if you love to take photos of the city and people at different times of the day. Great gor hyperlapse too. 5. You can appreciate the top-bottom Vietnamese wall art of landscape + culture in front of the elevator on each floor. 6. Helpful staff.

For the bedrooms, they do not look exactly like the picture. But still comfortable for me.

It is a comfortable, well situated property handy to everything. Great value for money. However,the highlight for me was the reception staff, Mai and Linh, who did everything they could to help and make my stay pleasant. Nothing was a problem for them and Linh even sorted a communication problem with a tour company for me late one night.

The room was spacious and the had two single beds that we requested. It was cold in Hanoi so we had the heater working perfectly as well as the shower that was much needed after a long day outside. The beds are comfortable and everyday we had new coffee, tea and new fresh towels. Closeby all attractions everything is walking distance and the staff is very friendly.

The owner, Lum (sorry of if I haven’t spelt this right) couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful. He upgraded us to a large room in a second hotel he’s just bought nearby. He made sure we had the best visit possible in Hanoi . I’ve never seen such a well equipped room - from dressing gowns to razors and food. The room was spacious and clean, and the location was fabulous , in the old quarters, everything walkable yet slightly away from the very touristy bit and near the night market. Perfect.
