Great property and very good value. The location is about 15min walk from various points of the city where you would like to be. The rooms were very clean and modern and smart tv was a bonus bit of Netflix in the evening never hurts. Bed was extremely comfortable and wifi was good. Staff were extremely friendly some of the best I’ve encountered in a long time. Slight hiccup on checkout was resolved very quickly and professionally. One issue is the building site next door is noisy atm at all hours of day and night. Hopefully it’s finished soon, then this hotel would be perfect. I will stay again next time in Hanoi

Smashing hotel on the fringe of the old quarter. Beautifully appointed and well maintained rooms, plumbing and aircon that works as it should, but most of all absolutely fantastic staff. Generous and varied breakfast with views over the city. The staff are generous with their care and attention, having good local knowledge and dedicated resources to help with booking excursions and onward travel. Hard to ask for more!

The attraction of the old quarter is that it’s … well, it’s pretty lively. It’s comparatively quiet where the Lestar is located, but can still be very noisy during the day. A relic of the past are the loud government announcements early in the morning and at around nap-time in the afternoon. These are irritating, but no reflection on the hotel. Room-to-room and corridor-to-room sound insulation is … Vietnamese quality. Earplugs provided on request!

The service and hospitality was exceptional. Each and every member of staff made sure that we were cared for in every possible way. The travel agency they have a tie up with are also really good. Would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone wishing to stay in Hanoi Old quarter. The breakfast spread was also extremely delicious.

The size of the room is a bit too small to be honest. We had booked a room with a balcony, we found the balcony to be a sliver of space outside. Also since the hotel is located very much in the old quarter, there is a lot of noise. But the road is closed for transport from 10PM to 5AM.

We absolutely loved our 4-night stay at the Lestar hotel. We really liked the room, which was very comfortable, spacious and clean. We experienced great service and kindness. The staff was always lovely, very solicitous and super helpful. Breakfast was very good with great options, also for vegetarians. Also the location of the hotel is very convenient. All the nice spots of Hanoi are within walking distance but the Lestar is far enough from the busy and loud streets of the old quarter - so quiet and peaceful nights are guaranteed. :-) Thank you for a wonderful stay.

A quaint hotel in Old Hanoi. It's near a bustling circle with cute cafes and a variety of street food, but slightly off the main drag so it's nice and quiet. The staff speaks perfect English and they are happy to help arrange tours and excursions for you. The rooms are quite tiny, but I think that's normal for these historic buildings in older parts of the city. The breakfast was also excellent; there's a buffet with fruit, pastries, and a variety of Vietnamese and Western options, and you can get pho, eggs, and hot coffee to order. I'm already planning on staying here again when I come back to Hanoi to fly out of Vietnam -- highly recommend!

The AC wasn't super strong. It was pleasant outside in Hanoi while I was there, so it wasn't a big deal, but I think it would be an issue in the summer. The shower is also quite odd -- it's lower than the tile around it, but not by much, so water gets on the bathroom floor. There's also no where to put your bath products inside the shower, so you have to leave them on the sink and grab them when you need them, which just gets more water everywhere. They just need to add a shower caddy or shelf, and maybe a little tile barrier around the floor!

The staff at the front desk, both the young lady and gentleman, were incredibly welcoming (I forgot to ask for their names, but they were on duty the evening of October 13th,2024). I stayed for two nights, and on the second night, the young lady at the front desk kindly upgraded me to a deluxe room for free. The stay was fantastic, and the breakfast was great. There are plenty of dining options nearby, ranging from local specialties to fast food like fried chicken and burgers. The hotel is also very close to Hanoi's famous train street café spot, and it's a quick ride on a Grab Bike. Special thanks to the front desk gentleman for recommending the best viewing point! I highly recommend this hotel, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Hanoi.

The hotel is really new and fresh. Interior is very nice, just like advertised. Everything was clean and stuff is responsive and helpful. Close to Old Quaters, everything is near by, convenient location.

The bathroom is very small, no shelves in the shower. Breakfast needs to be on the heat, and coffee was very very bland (color of tea) for both 2 days of our stay. The staff kindly provided crib for our baby, but the room was not convenient for staying with baby, it was troublesome to shower an infant. Mattress is too soft, pillows are too big, but probably might be comfortable for some people.

*copying my boyfriend’s review from google* Genuinely the best hotel you'll find in the old quarter. The hotel is really new and looks exactly like the pictures. Also the service was excellent! We enjoyed chatting with the staff since they all spoke English really well. Onsite breakfast was also really tasty and super convenient. My *boyfriend and I are traveling for another 2 weeks throughout Vietnam but we will 100% be staying here again when we come back to fly out of Hanoi! Also, Jenny and Gigi are super helpful and provided great recommendations on tours and local spots.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Hanoi, Vietnam, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The hotel's location was perfect, making it easy to explore the city. The property is well-maintained and feels new, which added to the comfort of my stay. The staff were generally polite and had a good nature, especially the female staff members who were particularly supportive and helpful. However, I did encounter some issues during my stay. Despite calling multiple times at night, I was unable to reach any staff members, which was quite frustrating. Additionally, the Wi-Fi was not working, which was a significant inconvenience. Despite these problems, my overall experience was positive, thanks to the excellent location and the supportive nature of the staff.

Hotel and the room was very clean, they have attached the actual photos of hotel and rooms. Breakfast was nice and good spread. They didn’t forget to give us breakfast pack since we had to checkout early morning to go to airport. Staff were nice and attentive, they could understand and speak English. gave us all the details about area and helped us through out. They were nice enough to give us a room upgrade and a souvenir. Hotel is located very close to old quarter. Just a 5-7 mins walk.
