- Very tasty welcome tea - Very, very nice staff! I have never received such a friendly welcome. The staff were also extremely nice and courteous during the rest of the days. I've never had that before! - Reception mostly speaks very good English - Very comfortable bed - Room service - Breakfast buffet very good and until 10 am - Wifi - Organization of airport transfer good - Laundry service good - Location (central, but on a quiet street) - Shampoo, shower gel, soap all available - Free drinking water for refilling - Card payment possible, but with a few extra percentages

- 2 cockroaches in the room, which would not describe the room as clean, but rather as dirty... I have never had cockroaches in the room before. (Apart from that, the room was clean - Hotel staff is incredibly loud from 7am!!! Especially the cleaning staff. I don't know exactly what they were doing so early, but it was very noisy. If I pay for a hotel room, I would expect at least the staff not to be too loud. Especially not so early - Air conditioning worked, but it didn't cool as much as usual

Me and my family enjoyed our stay. We book the hotel twice for a total of 5D4N (when we stay in hanoi and when we get back from sapa). Hotel location is near and walkable on the places that we want to visit. Ms. Alice and her team were kind enough to assist us with all of our queries and request, Ms. Alice also help us to book our cabin bus ride to sapa even before we reached vietnam, (they also packed us some snacks to bring since we leave early before the schedule of the breakfast buffet). She and her team always made sure that we enjoy our daily sightseeing and trips. There are some noises outside the road but it is not that bothersome, we were able to rest and stay comfortably at their hotel.

The hotel was super lovely! It felt very new and fresh. The breakfast was also very delicious! The beds felt like a cloud and the rooms were incredibly clean. Not only that, the staff were sooooo helpful! We had a bit of a bus nightmare and we needed help communicating with the drivers and they kindly called them for us many times and helped us figure out where our driver was when we got lost! Sending multiple photos and videos and messages for us! We would have for sure missed our bus if it wasn't for their help! They also let us have a very quick shower and got us extra towels and shampoo before our bus ride. Thank you for your amazing hospitality! We will for sure be back next time we come to the city!

Great hotel, super friendly staff and quick check-in. The room and the bathroom are very clean and super cozy. They even made it possible to check in earlier abd helped us organise a transport to the airport, and compared to others the price was really fair. We missed breakfast because of our early flight but they prepared something for us to take with us.

Our room with window had just a tiny window, but room looks like on the pictures we just didnt notice.

Located in the heart of the Old City, the hotel is located in a strategic position to visit all the major attractions within a walking distance, yet it remains quiet. The room furnishings are not very modern, but the room is confortable and the cleanliness is impeccable. The staff is very welcoming and available for any needs you may have (transfer, tour arrangements,...). We arrived very early in Hanoi and were offered the early check-in: an attention towards us that was much appreciated. The breakfast could be improved with a greater variety of food, but it is adequate to have a good start in the day. The kitchen guys are however available to prepare something more for you. Recommended.

I would like to say all the staff was amazing, especially Alice, Alice helped us book our trip from Hanoi to Hoi An including all of our day trips, over night train ride, private car, booking our hotels in Hue & Hoi An and took care of any situations that came up even after we left Hanoi. We ended up having to skip our day trip to Ninh Binh because we got heat stroke the day before and weren't up for another day in the sun. Even though we canceled the trip the morning of Alice was still able to get us a partial refund. Thank you Alice ❤️ Traveling in Vietnam is a different experience for sure, but this hotel is so close to everything and within walking distance so no need for a taxi or motorbike. And walking is faster, to be honest to all attractions within the Old Quarter. If you want an amazing stress free experience, you should definitely book with Serene Boutique Hotel and talk with Alice via WhatsApp to book all of your excursions. The hotel is located in a quieter area of the Old Quarter so it's nice when you want to relax after a long day of sightseeing, yet still central to so many places. The room was spacious and very clean with many basic amenities included. Alice also helped us book our Ha Long Bay Cruise in advance at a very good rate and recommended many local restaurants and place to exchange our money. I would highly recommend Serene Boutique in Hanoi. It's a great value for your stay and the staff were brilliant.

I recently stayed at Serene Boutique Hotel & Spa in the heart of the Old Quarter in Hanoi , and had a wonderful experience. The location couldn’t be better, with easy access to local attractions, shops, and eateries. The rooms were impeccably clean, offering a comfortable and relaxing environment after a day of exploring the city. The staff were incredibly accommodating, always ready to assist with any requests or provide helpful recommendations. One of the highlights was the breakfast. It offered a wide variety of delicious options, including traditional Vietnamese dishes, and was the perfect way to start the day. Overall, this hotel combines great service, a prime location, and a relaxing atmosphere, making it an excellent choice for anyone visiting Hanoi.

Very centrally located hotel, on a quieter street (as much as a street in Hanoi Old Town can be quiet). We had a very spacious room, with soft mattress and nice bedding. Some breakfast items changed daily, sometimes for the better and sometimes for the worse, but you can always order Pho Ga, omelette or eggs so there are enough options. The stuff was very friendly, and even let us leave our big luggage there for a few days, even after the checkout

The room and the facilities are a bit shabby, there are marks of wear and tear, scratches on the walls and tables, broken tile in the shower... but again, nothing too crazy, so you should still consider staying here for sure

Room was spacious and comfortable. There were complimentary water, tea and coffee daily basis. Breakfast was with good variety and freshly made different eggs and noodle soup, not to mention Vietnamese coffee. During our Halong Bay trip, which we booked from hotel, we could store our luggage at hotel and on return we were already checked in to our new room, which was so convenient and thoughtful of hotel. All our needs were met and solutions offered before we knew that we needed anything 🙂 Hotel staff was very attentive and friendly and Alice is excellent in organizing all excursions and other logistics you might need.
