The staff were very polite and helpful. We were able to exchange some currency at the reception which was convenient and they even prepared us some breakfast on our last day even though we checked out very early. Our room was very big and pretty. The breakfast was good but nothing special. The location is excellent for exploring the old town without being too loud.

The only downside was that we got some ants in our room, possibly brought back from our shopping. Once we reported it the room was cleaned and the ants were gone.

I stayed at the golden holiday hotel for 3 nights with my wife. The stay was really good. I would like to give a special shoutout to the staff Mr. Happy and Ms. Kim. They're really polite, friendly and go above and beyond to help you. Happy and Kim helped me with local food suggestions, places to chill nearby. I booked 2 tours, airport cab pickup and drop from the hotel, all at a very reasonable price. I recommend this to anyone looking for a nice cozy stay in Hanoi.

Location was really convenient - at the heart of the Old Quarters - making it easy to access restaurants, cafés, shops, tourist spots, and attractions. The staff was really accomodating and helpful. They also share good options for things-to-do. The breakfast buffer was great and you even have options to order from their menu. More than your money's worth.

The shower pressure was really good, but it was quite difficult to get the temperature right. Sometimes the water comes out too hot, once you turn it down a little, though, it turns cold quickly.

The service here is excellent. The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much of a problem. Ms Kim and Mr Happy are wonderful people who made our stay most enjoyable. Our room was big and clean, the street below is lively and interesting which makes the balcony a perfect spot for a morning coffee. All our travel requirements were organised by the hotel including our Halong cruise, Sapa train and the reunification express and we were not disappointed. We were in Vietnam for a month and this was our favourite hotel by far. Highly recommend.

Nothing it was perfect.

The receptionists Ms Kim and the other guy are very nice and helpful. They provide daily breakfast with limited selections, but the food is good. Location is within old quarter, so you can walk and explore the area without the need to take public transportation. Overall a good stay, value for money, and would recommend.

The room smells like oil by around 630am, the reason is the kitchen is an open area just below the reception area. I suggest putting in proper ventilation or totally enclosing the kitchen in its own room. Would've given 10 stars if not for this issue.

The staff are very nice. We booked the wrong date and we had nowhere to go (all the hotel is not available due to new year celebrations )but the staff gave us mattress and blankets to sleep. We were so tired so it was sooo helpful The reception lady show us the perfect plan for spending time Hanoi and Nihnbin for us. We booked two tour at this hotel and those were amazing I definitely come back next time

It is in old quarters and close to night market and other attraction. It is in a narrow road. Host was super accommodative. The trip to ninh binh was well arranged. Breakfast was decent and helped us with vegan food.

It was cheap and the location was really close to the night markets. The morning breakfast was really simple but very nice and tasty. The staff are fantastic and really friendly. We checked in late and the front desk staff was happy to change our rooms (they had upgraded us but it had an extra bed which we didn't need). Welcome drink and cold towel upon arrival was a sweet touch.

There wasn't much of a city view actually though it didn't really matter to us. Rooms were a little older than what was shown in the pictures though still very well maintained.

A very nice stay. Staff are very attentive, friendly and helpful, they gave us another room because some guest was too loud on the corridor at midnight. They even spoke with him about being more aware of others. The room was spacious with windows and nice bathroom. The hotel is close to everything and it is not hard to find it. Warmly recommend!
