Nice customer service and excellent location

The room was really humid, it was really unpleasant to rest or stay there for several hours... The breakfast buffet was not appealing to the sight. If you get there early, you will probably find nice and neat food to pick from... However if you get there after 8:15 AM, you will find only messiness on the buffet, really disgusting pans full of food... As the waiter or cooks do not really mind about how guests leave the buffet after serving themselves...

I loved the location of the hotel. It was within walking distance of so many restaurants, shopping, 24/7 laundry, and tourist attractions. The staff at the hotel were some of the kindest, friendliest, and helpful people we met in Hanoi. They always had a person at the front desk 24/7 and took care to make sure we were getting on the right tour or taxi. They facilitated a taxi to pick us up from the airport when we arrived. There was always hot water for the shower, good air conditioning in the rooms, a comfortable bed, and potable water in the lobby. It was nice and quiet at night since we opted for a room at the back of the hotel. The free breakfast every morning was filling, delicious, and set us up for a good day of sightseeing and fun. They let us store our luggage on our checkout day until our flight left in the evening.

Nothing.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful, thanks to the incredible hospitality and warm service. I don’t usually write reviews, but our experience here was so great that I felt it deserved to be shared. Huy and Hung/Zeph were truly amazing and made our trip so much more enjoyable. Hung/Zeph was always attentive, ready to help with a smile, and made sure everything ran smoothly. Huy was just as incredible, offering thoughtful recommendations and making us feel completely at home. Their kindness and genuine care really made a big difference throughout our stay. Plus, every other staff member we encountered was just as friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. The hotel itself was clean, cozy, and in a great location—especially on a quieter street, ensuring a peaceful night’s sleep. The room was exactly as advertised in the photos, which was a nice touch. The breakfast buffet was also quite good, offering a decent selection to start the day. What stood out the most, though, was how well we were treated. This review comes from genuine satisfaction, not because we were asked. We simply wanted to share how happy we were. We’d happily stay here again! 😊

It's a recommended hotel in Hanoi's Old Town. I planned to stay for two nights, but I stayed for three nights. Unless it's five stars, the hotels are all small and old. Maintenance of the facility determines cleanliness. My point is, 1. Location: Lake Hohenkiem 5 minutes. Banmi 25 1 minute away. It's a non-complex block, so be quiet. Tourism-shower-rest-tourism can be repeated. 2. Accommodation: spacious rooms and comfortable beds. Balcony. Shower booths. ceiling fans. Many outlets. All necessary facilities. 3. Breakfast: Additional menu in addition to buffet. Anything more. Regular coffee, tea and fruits 4. Service: Hung actively solves and helps any request. And smartness. It feels like a real brother. Lona at the desk with a pretty smile and help It adds a good feeling. 5. Cost-effectiveness: Good in Hanoi's old city center

We loved how kind and welcoming the staff were. It was a relief to be able to talk to many English speakers after not being able to communicate well with anyone in the airport nor the taxi. The room was very spacious, well lit, clean and organized. It was easy to get in and out of the room as there was a lift in each floor. They also assisted with bringing luggage in and out of the room. They were trustworthy since they would keep track of the payments well especially when there was some confusion regarding one laundry payment where we forgot the receipt. We felt like we were at home with neighbours and friends. We appreciated all the help to fix the bath tub and the tv. At some point, we became sick with flu and was grateful for the extra bottled water and ginger and honey drink given by Jeff. Restaurants and shops were a walking distance from the hotel. The breakfast was lovely, too.

Just to make others aware that the area is surrounded by hardware shops and the roads are crowded and small. For foreigners not familiar with Hanoi, you might get slightly lost going back to the place. There also multiple problems with the doorkey/card but apparently it was due to the ?New year. Otherwise, we had a wonderful time.

I stayed here for 4 nights to explore the city, what a brilliant hotel. Central location in the maze of streets that make up Old Hanoi which means everywhere is walkable. I arrived early and, after being given a free breakfast, I was given the use of another room (for a small charge) to freshen up and sleep for a few hours until my room was available. Breakfast choice is good with various eggs, toast, fruit, cereal etc on offer. The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful and any request is answered with a smile. I wholeheartedly recommend this little oasis of peace in a busy city to anyone planning on visiting Hanoi. If I'm ever back in Hanoi, this will be the place I stay! Thank you to all the staff for a great stay.

Nothing!

Location was perfect (little street and quiet in the night and still you walk 5-10 minutes to night market or other tourist attraction). Breakfast was quite ok, room was splitted in the two rooms and sometime you have to stay room that is behind the corridor (not a big problem). Room has balcony and we liked it (small, but you can open double doors to balcony and get bench on it).

Room was at the 3rd floor and there was not a elevator. Some rooms has elevator possibilities, but ours not.

The location was great, short walk into the main lake area and some good food close by. The staff were lovely and super helpful, always greeted us with a smile and helped with any questions we had along with our pickup from the airport and our transfer to Ninh Binh. Breakfast was good and it had a great shower. Bathroom was more modern than the pictures show.

Bed was hard and we booked a balcony room so we would have some natural light but the doors didnt close/seal properly so we had a lot of street noise through the night making it hard to sleep. Just something to keep in mind if you're booking a balcony room.

Location was excellent - perfect for everywhere we wanted to visit in Hanoi over our short stay. The staff were attentive and helpful. We took a room with a balcony which overlooks a street and so it could be quite loud but it didn’t bother us too much. For people sensitive to noise, I’d suggest taking a room on the inside with an internal window. Overall it was exactly what we needed for this city visit.

Breakfast was adequate and there were a few options which can be ordered additionally. Overall it could be improved slightly but it was perfectly fine for our needs.

Everything! The staff are what really make this hotel great. I would definitely like to stay here again in the future. Probably the friendliest hotel I've stayed in for a long time. The location is absolutely perfect for going out into the old town and exploring. There's always tea and coffee available in reception along with some fruit for a snack, especially helpful when you arrive late at night or come back from a night out. Nearby are so many different food places and coffee shops to sit down and relax at. Thank you so much to Liliane Hotel. Robin and Van.

There was nothing that we didn't like.
