We booked our stay an hour before we arrived to the hotel. The service was amazing. Staff were very welcoming and a special shout out to Anna for organising our tours to halong bay and ninh binh. We stayed here for 3 nights and everyday our room was cleaned and felt so good to walk back in to. Also, the breakfast was really good! A lot of options and very good location - atm is right next door and everything is within a walking distance.

The location,breakfast and staff.Everything you need is accessible by foot or grab taxi like bank,market,food,shopping and local shops.Staff are very helpful,polite,quick to act and supportive especially Viet who goes beyond his role.We would like to thank Ana and the receptionists on duty for supporting,helping us and answering whatever we asked.

The paint colour of the hotel inside room and corridor its quite dark.The grout/sealant inside shower room needs changing and underneath the bowl of the sink needs cleaning.

We had a pleasant stay at Grande Collection, if you want to be located in the heart of the old quarter this is a great option. The rooms are very clean and the beds very comfy, the AC worked great and the shower had great pressure. Great value for money! The rooms (2) were very quiet despite its location. The staff were extremely attentive and always willing to help. The hotel provides all kind of services in our case we needed to organize transportation (private driver) to different locations (Ninh Bin, Sapa, Cat Ba, Hanoi and airport) Anna, who works there did such a fantastic job! She gave us a very good price (as a package) and organized everything for us! It was a breeze for us to travel around northern Vietnam for a whole month thanks to her! Thank you so much Anna! If you stay in Grand Collection, request the airport pick up with them, fair price and you’ll not have to deal with taxi drivers at the airport.

The only downside for us was not having a proper window in the rooms, which is common in hotels located in the old quarter. Our mistake to assume by the pictures that our rooms have them. Otherwise everything else was great.

The hotel's location was great. Everything was so walkable that I rarely had to use a grab. The staff is friendly and quite helpful and helped me find a taxi on my last day there. I was supposed to take a bus from Hanoi to Phong Nha and tried to book a grab to the bus station. However, since it was raining, there were no grab options, and the hotel helped me qith the same. I've read some reviews about the noise. I wouldn't say that there was no noise, but it was quiet and peaceful. The breakfast is basic, though I have nothing to complain about.

The bar is a haunted house. There would be no one there in case you wanted to grab a drink at the end of the day. But there's a really nice cafe with beer opposite that and a circle K (supermarket) just down the road. So, I dont think it's much of an issue.

During my recent stay at the Grande Collection Hotel & Spa in Hanoi with my wife, we were pleasantly surprised to receive a free upgrade to a bigger room with a window, which made our stay even more comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed. The hotel's location in the Old Quarter was perfect for exploring the city, with many attractions within walking distance. Everything about our stay was excellent, and we would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hanoi.

This was our second time staying at the Grande Collection Hotel & Spa. The team very kindly let us leave our bags with them whilst we visited Bai Tu Long Bay, which was a huge help, and very kind of them. On arrival, they immediately knew who we were and had checked us in to a lovely big room. The room was beautifully decorated, as they all seem to be, this time with a gorgeous deep green. The bed was equally as comfortable and we had an amazing nights sleep. The shower was fantastically warm, no waiting time for the hot water as you often get in Vietnam, and I must say, the acoustics in the bathroom are very good. So if you’re belting out the new Wicked soundtrack, this is the hotel to choose. We had a very early departure in the morning but the team very kindly sorted us out with a breakfast box each to take with us, which we gladly enjoyed before checking into our flight to come home. I cannot recommend this hotel more, brilliant location, fantastic rooms and the staff are exceptional; we will be back!

The only minor I could think of was that, as you might expect from a hotel in the Old Quarter, the noise from the street was quite loud until the early hours. Appreciate there isn’t much the hotel can’t do much about the noise, but some double glazing might be a good shout at some point.

Very nice hotel. Reception and restaurant done in a very atmospheric style. Clean rooms but the bathroom would need renovation (window does not close, ceiling with stains). As for the balcony, do not expect Swiss-style balconies in Vietnam. They are there but no one uses them and no one looks there. It is not worth paying extra for this service because you do not sit there anyway (it is too hot outside). The hotel manager, Anna, is very nice and helpful. She will answer any questions, help organize a trip, transfer. You feel safe and well taken care of. I really recommend this hotel

The receptionist at hotel and all staff of Grade collection hotel and Spa were highly professional and cooperative. All they welcomed with great smiles. Breakfast verities and test so great that we never felt like we should not try the dish. My daughter used to take hot milk and staff immediately provided. They provided us pure veg food as per our requirements, however we only taken breakfast but seeing verities in breakfast I can assure you that definitely Lunch and dinner would also be testy. The location of the hotel is in old quarters and all the markets, Indian restaurants and pick up for Halong Bay or Ninh Binh also from old quarters only, therefore our pick was from our hotel itself. I recommend to all go for this property without any second thought. Even I requested for early check in and breakfast, hotel arranged same for us on extra payment. All flights generally from India lands in early morning around 0700 am and hotel check in all Vietnam is from 1400 Hrs only, therefore I suggest please request early check in advance on extra payment else you have to wait for check in time. Hotel also provides common toilets facilities to use in case you didn’t request early check in. I want to give 10 out 10 points for the all staffs of Grande collection hotel and Spa.

Brilliant hotel in the heart of Old Town Hanoi. The receptionists and manager were very friendly and replaced my tv when it broke. Excellent location and comfortable rooms with excellent water pressure. I was very impressed.

The breakfast is very basic and not very tasty. The bellhop / guy who loiters in reception is very irritating. I know he has an incredibly boring job but honestly it's not required and he just gets in the way. Every time I went to open the door it seemed like he awoke from a trance, put his phone down and dived in front of me to open it, all 10 seconds too late.. All this did was get in my way, I would rather open the door myself as I am quite capable. I do not like obsequiousness. I also don't like how they try to take your baggage off you. I was robbed before and like to move my own bags.

The hotel was great but where they really exceeded expectations was Mrs Anna’s help arranging my Ha Giang Loop tour - she really went above and beyond to ensure I had a good trip and was very responsive whenever I had questions. I actually wish I had gone to speak to her sooner as I could have saved hours of my own research - a lesson to myself to ‘lean in’ more to the help and support that is often more available than you think! Thank you again Mrs Anna - my Ha Giang Loop was the trip of a lifetime and you helped facilitate that :)
