First is the location. It is inside the Old Quarter so everything starting from authentic vietnamese food, sight seeing, to shopping are already in the area. Second are the facilities of this hotel. Very clean, comfortable bed, nice view from balcony, and everything is already provided. Lastly and above all are the helpful,approachable and very warm receptionists. Special mention to Lucas who assisted me in the check-in, room upgrade, smooth check-out and for our late night talks sharing about vietnam’s history, tradition, and culture. Thanks bro!

Excellent hotel! I will stay here again if ever I'm back in Hanoi. Staff: Amazing throughout, always on hand to help. Camellia especially was a fantastic host, and went above and beyond to ensure I had a brilliant stay. As well as being very friendly and supportive, she also organised several excursions for me at reduced rates, airport transfers etc. She was great with communication and made me feel right at home 👍 The other staff were all super friendly too. Location: Perfect location, right in the heart of the old quarter. Great food and drinking spots within a 5 minute radius. Room: Nice size, clean and comfortable.

Soft, comfortable bed and pillows (very rare in Vietnam), huge terrace/ balcony, blackout blinds, great shower. Right in the thick of things, walking distance to everywhere in the Old Quarter. I have found my home in Hanoi and will definitely be back. 10/10

It's definitely not the fault of the hotel in any way, but there are loud speakers on the corner that are very loud, most mornings and evenings for a good 5 minutes. Don't know what they are saying as I don't speak Vietnamese, but it's the same message on repeat.

apart from the location, amenities, cleanliness which they were truly all great. ha the lady receptionist, she’s the best! was looking for a road side food seller i met last year but becos she didnt have a brick and mortar shop, i had a hard time finding it. after giving ha a few clues, she managed to locate that person’s location! this was just one of the many few things ha helped. thanks sm ha!

Location: If you want to explore the Old Quarter of Hanoi, Queen Light Hotel is the PERFECT one for you guys. You can easily walk around to discover the food, the people, and every corner of the Old Quarter. The hotel is only a 15-minute walk from West Lake. Room: I booked a Deluxe Double Room with Balcony. The room is clear and odorless. You can enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning and see the city and the lives of Hanoi people with a good view from the balcony. Customer service: The manager and all the receptionists are cute and friendly. They help me to rent a good motorbike and support all my requests. If you have a chance, having small talk with the manager is really interesting. Overall: In the future, whenever I have a chance to come back to Hanoi, Queen Light Hotel is always my first choice!

We stayed at this hotel 3 times at the end of our Vietnam trip. Between Ha giang loop, Halong Bay and exploring Hanoi, they always kept our big bags safe in between and for the last stay they even gave us a free upgrade to the big family room. It was nicely decorated and clean.

Bed was unfortunately very uncomfortable in the smaller rooms, the big family room was a lot better, maybe had a newer bed. Even though we stayed there three times within a week they never saved our information and we had to do all the check in process each time but that might not be the hotels fault.

Nice hotel at the centre of hanoi streets. You walk left,right, turn around.. everything you want is there. so close.. night market 5 min walk. The receptionist there is a beautiful lady. Her name is HOA. She is very helpful. She arranges everything be it taxi, your tour or currency exchange she can help you. She arranged taxi for our Ninh Binh tour at a reasonable price and to airport too. The room was clean. It was a twin bed + single bed- room for 3. Toilet was small but not uncomfortable. We enjoyed our stay. I would defenitely recommend this hotel.

I missed my connection flight and the hotel was very nice to update my booking, so I didn’t have to pay for the missed nights. I chose this hotel because price is very reasonable in a central location. They also have an elevator, so I didn’t have to carry my luggage up and down flight of stairs. Space is tight, but good enough to move around. I used the hotel’s airport transfer, again with reasonable pricing. They also offered spa and tours, but I didn’t get to use them because of my short visit.

Bed wasn’t too comfortable.

A great location for exploring. Right in the heart of the old quarter and close to train street. We had the top floor balcony room that was gorgeous and we used the balcony a lot. Very quiet and very comfortable bed. The staff were exceptional, beyond 10 stars and really make the property.

It’s a bit tired and the bathroom could do with a refresh but not a deal breaker.

We stayed here two separate times, in two different rooms, within the span of a week. The rooms are clean, the staff are nice, and the location is excellent. The front desk manager, Hoa, speaks English, provided recommendations and made sure we were always comfortable. I couldn’t ask for a better service. Everything we wanted to do was within 15 minutes walking distance. Of course, you can also just get a Grab (equivalent to Uber) car or motorbike if you want to go airport. The location of the hotel is very quiet and safe.
