We had an absolutely amazing stay at this hotel. We travel all over the world, and this is definitely one of our top picks. The property has a beautiful art deco, steampunk-inspired aesthetic, and the location is perfect—walking distance to everything. The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly, which made the experience even better. The restaurant is outstanding, especially for breakfast. There’s a beautiful buffet with a wide variety of options, plus made-to-order dishes. For the quality you get here, the price simply can’t be beat. Highly recommend!

Bed & pillows were comfortable so i slept well for the 3 nights despite the busy sound from the streets Staff were quite helpful when being asked for recommendations The ambience of the hotel and room was soft despite its busy surroundings Located close to some nice places of eatery and St Joseph cathedral so good to be able to walk

Water pressure for the shower was quite low hence hard to control the Hot temperature Lighting in the bathroom was a bit too dim especially when applying for make-up I booked a 'Junior suite' room but the room looks the same as an ordinary room, difference was the balcony Breakfast can be improved in terms of its quality and offerings eg should stick to what the chefs are more comfortable making

The property was in a great location, easy walking distance to many places. The unique furniture with the old brass fittings and unique styling was just stunning. The hotel is small and very comfortable and the breakfast was intimate and so yummy!! We found it got busy at 9:00am so suggest going earlier. The beds (although 1 wasn’t perfect) they were so soft which was great - as so many beds in Vietnam are rock solid!

Only issue was one bed was dipping in the middle but we didn’t realise and was unable to provide this until the end of our stay, staff were very apologetic and we slept amazing anyways. The only other issue to be mindful of if travelling with a friend is the blinds to the bathroom are not block out. We just made a make shift cover and it was fine though!

The Peridot Gallery Classic was the perfect hotel to arrive from an International flight into Hanoi with beautiful friendly staff, an incredible breakfast buffet and stunning views across Hanoi. The bed was very comfortable and the staff helped us orient ourselves in the city with maps and recommendations and checking tickets for shows.

There was some construction work taking place that disrupted our stay a little, however the staff accommodated the inconvenience by providing drink vouchers to enjoy away from the noise. We enjoyed our complimentary cocktails on the rooftop away from the noise and appreciated the gesture.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location was perfect—conveniently situated near the Old Quarter, making it easy to explore the city. The room was impeccably clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed, with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. Everything was in its place, and the attention to detail did not go unnoticed. The staff were exceptional—friendly, professional, and always willing to assist with any request. Their warm hospitality truly enhanced the experience. Breakfast was a highlight, offering a wide variety of delicious options to suit different tastes. From fresh pastries to hearty hot dishes, every item was prepared with care, providing a great start to the day. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again. A fantastic experience from start to finish!

I honestly couldn’t find a single fault with this hotel—everything was absolutely flawless. From the moment I arrived, every detail exceeded my expectations. The service, cleanliness, and amenities were all spot-on, making for an effortless and delightful experience. It’s rare to find a place where nothing falls short, but this hotel managed to deliver perfection in every aspect. Without a doubt, I’ll be returning on my next visit—I wouldn’t hesitate to book here again!

The hotel was in a great location and the staff were extremely friendly. Tracy in particular was very helpful and friendly and was quick to help out with anything we needed. Artur and Michael from the bar were also very friendly and helpful and Ducky was always extremely friendly and on hand to help. Ming also went out of his way to show us places we could go and take photos in preparation for our trip to Ninh binh. The breakfast staff were also absolutely excellent and so was the breakfast itself. There was a buffet option and the option to order meals for free. The staff were also really sweet as they helped us to celebrate our birthday.

The twin room was a bit too small for our group as we had 23kg luggage so we upgraded our room. The staff were really great with accommodating this. I would suggest getting the double room if you both have 23kg luggage, cabin luggage and a backpack and are more than one person.

I have never rated a hotel as exceptional before, but this one really is. This boutique hotel is beautifully & tastefully decorated throughout & is conveniently situated in the old town of hanoi, with sights within walking distance. The dining room is on the 11th floor, which has panoramic views of the city- in the mornings the most amazing breakfast buffet is provided here which caters for every taste - there is also a call-order menu too at no extra charge. The service is first class & all the staff are so friendly helpful. However 2 staff members really stood out: the first was Bee on reception, who spoke fluent English & really went the extra mile ensuring that my every request was met with a smile. The second was Tracy, the tour manager, who went above & beyond to ensure that my bucket list of places to visit was completely taken care of. If your budget will stretch, I would recommend a balcony room at the front of the hotel as these are a little larger than a standard room have views of the streets below, though can be a little noisy during the daytime but I didn’t find it a problem.

Great location to explore old quarter, lots of restaurants close by with a nice gym in proximity. The staff is very nice and attentive to our needs, when we had early check out for Sa Pa, they had prepared us breakfast and coffees - excellent service beyond our expectations, such as constantly opening the door for us when arriving or leaving the hotel. Despite the room being small (like everywhere in Hanoi old quarter for that matter), the beds were very fluffy and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with a great variety to please everyone’s taste. Definitively a very good value for the price. I recommend strongly staying at Peridot Gallery Classic Hotel for your next stay in Hanoi ! Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to check out the rooftop, but i’m sure it’s also great.

I don’t usually leave reviews but this hotel has earned it. I have stayed in a lot of 5-star hotels all over the world and in all my travels, but this one really stands out. Their service is unmatched. From the moment of reservation, to the stay, and even after, they really go above and beyond to provide you with the best stay. Would like to commend Mr. Williams at the reception. His service is so much better than the 5-star hotels I’ve stayed in all over the world combined. You have established the Peridot brand of service, one that is beyond comparison. To be honest, even if I didn’t like Hanoi that much, I’d really just come back just for this hotel. Your exemplary service is engraved in my heart and makes me want to come back to Hanoi! 💕 thank you so much, Peridot. Especially to Mr. Williams whose service and care is unmatched. Would highly recommend this hotel to everyone I know and to everyone who reads this review. If you have 2nd thoughts about booking this property, you will definitely not regret staying here. Nothing at all

Everything was absolutely amazing! Check-in was quick and easy, Tracy noticed my birthday and made sure my stay was great! My room was upgraded, bed decorated and even a birthday cake! They surely made me feel special. This location is perfect, the views are spectacular, breakfast was plentiful and delicious. I can’t thank you guys enough! I cannot wait to return, you made my first trip to Viet Nam perfect! I wish I stayed longer.

Room size is on the smaller end but it is in old town so it’s expected. They made great use of the space I still loved it as it was only me staying. Purely great! Not any bad things to say.
