Out of the different hotels in Hanoi we stayed at during our trip, we liked this one the most. The location is excellent for exploring the city and the room was very clean. The staff were also really friendly and accommodating and even gave us a free upgrade to a bigger room. The breakfast consisted of a nice selection of dishes, some available in a buffet style and some additional ones that could be ordered. We would definitely recommend this place and would love to stay there again next time we are in Hanoi.

Good location. Staff very good. Hotel looked new. Breakfast very good. Our room was disappointing but the hotel appearance was excellent.

Our had a very low ceiling. Hit my head on a ceiling beam 4 times. The beam needs some padding along the beam edges. The room had no window to remove the moisture after a shower and was a problem. The exhaust fan did not work well as it needed replacement air to the room. The room had no hangers to hang clothes only a coat hook. Had the room been accurately described in the advertising we would not have booked it.

This hotel was absolutely perfect for what I needed. After a long go travel day, it was great to be greeted by such a lovely staff team and a cosy room. The bed was really big nd spacious and I had great night’s sleep. The hotel is really well located making it easy to wonder to and from the heart of the old quarter without needing taxis or anything like that. I was spending some time in Ha Giang and Sapa and the team were so helpful, packing me up a breakfast as I was leaving early. I am so grateful for this.

Wonderful hotel and staff. Especially Anna who helped plan our entire stay in Hanoi. She was great with suggestions and booking day trips. Room were clean, beds were comfortable. Great breakfast. Very friendly staff.Try and get a room with a balcony so you can watch the crazy traffic. Ps, the windows are double glazed so not so noisy.

Golden Rooster Hotel is situated on the busy streets of the Old Quarter in Hanoi. The staffs are very warm, welcoming and very approachable. Staying in Golden Rooster Hotel is like staying in your own home. The food they serve every morning is very good and each day you’ll get the chance to try different Vietnamese dish along with other international dishes. The hotel is so near to every tourist spot. Like you can literally just walk going there. If you want to purchase internet, you can just buy it directly from them. It’s cheap and reliable. Emma helped me out with my internet. And she is so kind and generous of her time in helping me. This was my first solo trip and I am so happy that they made it a very good one. Planning to come back and bring my mom.

None., what more can I complain with the price yet a very good and outstanding service? Golden Rooster Hotel is the best choice.

The staff were super welcoming and offered a cold towel and drink upon checking in. They gave information regarding Hanoi and about the room. The rooms were very clean and had all the amenities needed. Location was great. They also gave us an upgrade regarding the room.

The breakfast had very limited options especially if it was busy there wouldn’t be much left. Initially we had a eco room which had a very low ceiling and a low corridor which was quite inconvenient but the room itself was clean and spacious. The staff had offered to upgrade us for a reduced price but we decided to leave it and then on the last night they upgraded us which was very kind of them and the room was lovely.

We had an incredible experience staying at this hotel in Vietnam. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome — their attention, kindness, and willingness to help with anything we needed truly made a difference. From the moment we arrived, we felt well taken care of. The rooms were exceptionally clean and very comfortable, creating a relaxing atmosphere after long days of exploring. Everything was well maintained and thoughtfully arranged. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hanoi. The service, cleanliness, and comfort were outstanding. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit!

This is a perfect place for me to stay in Hanoi, located in heart of Hanoi (Old Quarter) where closer to resto, spa, shops, local coffee shop, 24 hours convenience store, walkable to roam the closers city attractions. My room is great, comfy, clean and spacious apart from I am always wanted with a balcony/terraces or windows. Breakfast is always serving hot food - excellent breakfast choices in Vietnamese style. STAFFS are truly the gems of this hotel, so accommodating, polite, well trained and treated you as "King and Queen"

The hotel is very conveniently located in the Old Quarter, surrounded by restaurants, stores, markets, etc. It is walking distance to many tourist areas, or a short Grab ride. Staff at the hotel were wonderful. There was also a good complimentary breakfast each morning and coffee and tea available all day. Very good value.

The building is older, like everything in the Old Quarter, and doesn't have all the amenities that a large, new, modern hotel would have. But that is a tradeoff for being in this vibrant neighborhood.

There are many things that I love about this property: 1. The accommodating and helpful staff. Ms. Anna even upgraded two of our rooms and we were very comfortable. We arrived Hanoi at dawn and the staff were there to help up and even sent several communications prior to our stay. Our additional request for transport to the train station and extended stay were extra miles that made us want to go back. 2. Homey breakfast. The food choices is not as plush as some hotels but it was delicious. Loved it. 3. The location is tops as it is walking distance to Hoan Kiem Lake and to quaint shops.

Well not much to say here. For me a comfortable clean stay with great helpful staff can make up for anything that is below par. Yet this hotel gives you the minimum basic comfort, has a bidet and hair blow dryer, kettle though I did not see a mini fridge which I do not usually use.
