Out of the different hotels in Hanoi we stayed at during our trip, we liked this one the most. The location is excellent for exploring the city and the room was very clean. The staff were also really friendly and accommodating and even gave us a free upgrade to a bigger room. The breakfast consisted of a nice selection of dishes, some available in a buffet style and some additional ones that could be ordered. We would definitely recommend this place and would love to stay there again next time we are in Hanoi.

Good location. Staff very good. Hotel looked new. Breakfast very good. Our room was disappointing but the hotel appearance was excellent.

Our had a very low ceiling. Hit my head on a ceiling beam 4 times. The beam needs some padding along the beam edges. The room had no window to remove the moisture after a shower and was a problem. The exhaust fan did not work well as it needed replacement air to the room. The room had no hangers to hang clothes only a coat hook. Had the room been accurately described in the advertising we would not have booked it.

Wonderful hotel and staff. Especially Anna who helped plan our entire stay in Hanoi. She was great with suggestions and booking day trips. Room were clean, beds were comfortable. Great breakfast. Very friendly staff.Try and get a room with a balcony so you can watch the crazy traffic. Ps, the windows are double glazed so not so noisy.

The staff were super welcoming and offered a cold towel and drink upon checking in. They gave information regarding Hanoi and about the room. The rooms were very clean and had all the amenities needed. Location was great. They also gave us an upgrade regarding the room.

The breakfast had very limited options especially if it was busy there wouldn’t be much left. Initially we had a eco room which had a very low ceiling and a low corridor which was quite inconvenient but the room itself was clean and spacious. The staff had offered to upgrade us for a reduced price but we decided to leave it and then on the last night they upgraded us which was very kind of them and the room was lovely.

Our room was a sanctuary from the Old Quarter. It had nice high ceilings, great aircon and good amenities throughout. The staff were very friendly to us and helped us with lots of things. We ended up taking 2 day tours, which they arranged for us. They also arranged our onward transport to Mai Chau. We ended up finding the heart of the Old Quarter was too touristy, but the streets by the hotel had a nice atmosphere with more traditional shops and restaurants. We particularly liked visiting the Bia Hoi around the corner!

The breakfast was a little basic, but serviceable. As with any hotel in the Old Quarter, there is a little bit of traffic noise, but that’s to be expected.

From the minute we booked our stay the communication was first class. We were greeted by Anna who was so welcoming & helpful just like the rest of the staff. Always smiling and willing to help nothing was too much to ask for. The room was clean & good showers. New bottle of water every day. Location was perfect We booked tours through the hotel too which were so much fun and took the stress off us to look for ones. We checked out at 6am and they gave us a packed breakfast to go with us. The staff & hotel made our trip so relaxing

The hotel located in the old quarter, near many good restaurant, night market, Dong Xuan market and also money changer. When we arrived late night Emma very helpful to book us place in nearby restaurant and even accompany us to go there. When she noticed that i have bad cough she prepare lemon honey mixture for me and it helps me ☺️ thanks A lot Emma ☺️ Anna also very friendly. We had a fantastic stay at the Golden Rooster Hotel in Hanoi with our extended family. We booked two rooms and were provided rooms that were together. The rooms were impeccably clean and well-maintained, offering a comfortable retreat after exploring Hanoi. Our The location is absolutely perfect – right in the heart of the Old Quarter and just a stone’s throw away from Hanoi’s amazing eateries and top sights. It made exploring the city so convenient and enjoyable. The breakfast spread was another highlight, with a wide variety of options but we especially loved the freshly made chicken and beef pho - and it was really good. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They organised seamless airport transfers, provided free laundry services (even packed it so neatly) while we travelled to Ha Long Bay, and helped us find reliable places to exchange money. Golden Rooster Hotel truly stands out for its hospitality, location, and attention to detail. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hanoi. Our family truly enjoyed our stay at Golden Rooster Hotel.

Nothing in particular

The staff is incredibly accommodative and supportive. Eventhough it was only for 2 nights but Emma made sure we were well provided for! Even suggested where to go and also help us to push for early check in since the usual check in is 2pm, she helped us ready a room earlier than that. Prior to coming to the hotel Emma also made sure to confirm our arrival time and make sure our room is ready ASAP. The hotel is comfortable, clean, and as per photos shown.Altho slightly more hangers would be nice and the deluxe room could have some chair and small table to sit. For the breakfast at lobby to have a little more variety, then it would've been the best!
