Third time we came here. The staff's welcome is always warmful, they are the funniest girls we met in Vietnam! Rooms are clean, location is good, staff's advice is awesome, good restaurants and street food around. The Homestay is really nice, our stay was again very delightful, we definitely would come back next time we visit Hanoi!

Great staff, good location,comfortable room. The staff contacted me prior and recommended lots of places around. The location is 10-15 min walk from old quarter,very quiet street. We found it easily on google maps. The room was spacious, the AC worked well. We had a room with shared bathroom which was a small shower but for us it was ok. The price is really good for this location.

The rooms with shared bathroom have the thinnest walls, they even have a sign about that. We were lucky and there were no neighbors during our stay only one person for one night. But I could hear that person talking on the phone. I guess if you're unlucky with neighbors it can be a problem.

Room is comfortable and clean. Reception staff are so helpful and polite, also have a very high level of English. Hanowood booked for me our bus on to Ninh binh and watched our luggage for a few days while we were away on a tour. They have many tour options, bus options and SIM cards etc to help getting settled. It is right next to a great coffee shop, acid8 and not far from the Hoan Kiem Lake District. A walkable distance to the old quarter. Plenty of great food options around and a circle k nearby. We really enjoyed our stay !

I would 10/10 recommend this place to anyone. I stayed here for almost a week & it was amazing. The rooms are huge, clean, good WiFi, good AC, and the facilities are also very nice. The staff was very helpful. It’s about a 10-15 min walk from the main kinds tourist area but it’s perfect if you don’t want to stay in the main area. It’s a great deal - for what you pay it’s amazing. I have been in Vietnam for 1.5 months and this was my favorite place I’ve stayed. Don’t hesitate book here

They are all very friendly and helpful. The organization of the tours was exceptional and Ly even made suggestions on how to best organize the tour (we did: Ha Longe Bay 1 day; Ninh Binh 1 day; SaPa 2 days one night). The bugalow that Ly booked in Ninh Binh for us to spend the night between the Ha Long Bay and Ninh Binh tour was wonderful. Hanowood Homestay in Hanoi is well located and has a great cafe nearby (All Day Coffee). We had a small problem with the air conditioning one night but they resolved the situation in a few minutes even though it was night. Our trip and stay in Hanoi was much easier due to their help.

Great value for money! The place was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped — having an iron, hairdryer, and constant hot water was a big plus. Located in the peaceful French Quarter, it’s within walking distance to the city center, with lots of nice cafes and street food spots nearby. The highlight was definitely the amazing staff — super friendly and incredibly helpful with planning our time in Hanoi, finding authentic local food, and organizing our trip around Northern Vietnam. Highly recommended!

Comfy bed and was in a good location, not too far walk to the old quarter and based on a quiet street. hot shower (shared bathroom) but was only shared with one other room. The lady who runs the home stay is really friendly and helpful :)

The walls were really thin so could hear the room next door having a normal conversation but didn’t affect us too much. First impressions as you walk in the stairs are abit run down but the rooms are great:)

This little guesthouse is situated in a quiet part of Hanoi but is still walkable to most tourist places, or you could get a grab bike. I had the room on the top floor but the staff carried my bag up and down for me. The room is well appointed with sockets and switches where you need them, plenty of hot water and decent WiFi. The bed is comfortable and there's nice toiletries supplied. It's the staff that really makes your stay here great, always helpful but never pushy and very friendly. All of which makes this place excellent value for money, especially when compared with what the same price gets you in the old quarter. I have left my big bag with them whilst I go to Ninh Bimh so I will be returning for another few nights and am happy to do so.

Nothing for me but if you have mobility issues the narrow spiral staircase might be an issue, so don't pick the deluxe room with balcony.

Stella really sunshine in this place! Very very friendly and kind! She's have fast reaction for some problems or questions. With any situation you can go to her. Room nice and cute, we like this design. Stella send me a lot maps point with delicious food and interesting places. It's really nice) And you can pour the water when you need. In public place have a fridge and microwave.

Air-conditioning broked in one night, but on next day already fixed it. And fan was dirty. Another things was good!

Quiet street in Hanoi, at walking distance from one of the train streets and the city center. Many 'western style' coffee places around. The host is the most helpful, he explained to us how to go to Perfume Pagoda by public transport and kept our luggage over the check out time.

The room is quite small and the door is transparent and facing the common stairs where the light cannot be switched off at night (or at least we did not manage to). We slept with sleeping masks. The shower is at the beginning of the bathroom, very close to the door so the room gets easily wet and not so easily dried because of the high humidity
