Located in the city center, easy to walk and visit anywhere

No elevator, you need to walk up to room, narrow stairs, it could not be fit with big luggage, small pack bag is fine to carry

I absolutely adored my room—it truly felt like a home. The cozy atmosphere and thoughtful design were perfect, and I loved the bohemian vibe that made it feel uniquely Hanoi. It was as though I was staying in a local home, which made the experience even more special. I’m also very particular about cleanliness, and I was delighted to find the room spotless and well-maintained throughout my stay. If safety is a concern, rest assured that the space is secure. Given reports of lost belongings in hostels, this place offers peace of mind, so you can feel confident leaving your things behind. Lastly, the host was incredibly kind and welcoming. The warmth and hospitality of the people in Hanoi truly left a lasting impression on me. I highly recommend this place!

The construction noise wasn’t an issue for me, but the mosquitoes were a bit bothersome. However, the hosts were thoughtful and provided mosquito nets and earplugs to help mitigate the discomfort. One thing to note is that this place may NOT BE SUITABLE for guests who use WHEELCHAIRS or WALKING CANES. There are no elevators, and the stairs can be steep and narrow, which might make it challenging to navigate, especially for those with mobility issues.

I stayed in room 401. The room was cozy and nicely decorated. A balcony on one side and a window on the other side made the room bright. The bed was wonderful ! Also the linen was great. The pre arrival information that I received via WhatsApp was very precise and useful. The host was fast to answer and very helpful. The balcony had nice plants. The location is great, away from the tourist ghetto but next to many restaurants and stores. The heater was highly appreciated.

The staircase to the 4th floor is very narrow and tough if you have lots of luggage. The slippers provided were worn out and very uncomfortable. The water boiler needs some good cleaning. I got electrocuted when I plugged in the lamp because the wires were loose. The shower is pretty small. The windows don't keep the noise out. Just in front of the house is a huge construction site. Noisy work started on my first morning at 6:30 a.m. !!!!!! and finished at 11:30 p.m. !!!!!

Large, clean room. Comfortable bed and pillows. Hot pot, man at desk was friendly and super funny. I did not explore the area, just slept for the evening and left the next morning.

Location is down an alleyway and was a bit difficult to find, especially since I arrived after dark. I wandered around a bit and asked people for help with directions, but even then I had difficulty. Clearer directions from the property owners would have helped. But quite simple really, I just needed to continue to the end of the alleyway. Taxi driver had trouble finding the location. There was no garbage can in the room.

It looked exactly like the pictures. In a very quiet street, very relaxing. Also they are very very nice and helping with very good recommandations and can help you find transports or tours for a very good price. Again my room was just like the pictures, and very very confortable, the AC worked perfectly and same for the wifi. Also the house is super close to the old quarters, like a 5mn walk. Came home one night at 1am and felt very safe. I definitely recommend !

Some construction in the street behind the house but it’s not their fault.

It was a pleasant stay in a small and cozy room in the old traditional Hanoi house. The interior is nice. I just needed a bed, a shower and a pleasant surrounding for two nights in the city center. And it was perfect. Also had a lovely chat with the owner’s uncle during late check-in:)

There is a steep stairway to the 4th floor. If you have heavy luggage, little kids, or physical disability, this place is not the best choice.

We found the location was really good as it was close to many attractions and restaurants. The hosts were friendly and very helpful. Nice hot shower, small fridge and a/c.

Very quiet neighborhood , close to lake Hoan Kiem. Much better location for staying than historical center. Very safe area due to a fact it's in the residential zone with embassies etc. Building seems to be a little bit ordinary, bit room was exceptional (and big) - the beds were so comfy! The owner was very helpful and we could leave our luggage there before/after check out/check in.

The room was so homely, I felt like I was staying at a friend's place. It was nicely decorated in that way. The beds are comfortable. The location is great, just outside of the hustle and the bustle of old quarters, it felt more authentic. Old quarters are a 15 minute walk away. There is a very nice coffee place around the corner that serves vietnamese but also Italian style coffee. Mosquitos could be a problem, but mosquito nets are provided and that worked well for us. Last, but not least: the father who checked us in was very friendly and welcoming. His English was great. I would book this place again when coming back to Hanoi.

Only one thing: we didn't have a place to dry/hang our towels. That was a bit inconvenient.

Cool (didn't need a/c) and quiet spot down a little residential alley. Simple, cosy decor and very clean. Well-ventilated wet room style bathroom. Owners were very flexible about a last-minute late check-out request.

Stairway up to the rooms is very narrow, so not easy with luggage. A couple of mosquitoes, but apparently they have nets and natural repellent available. No easy place to hang a towel so it can dry quickly
