The room was really nice and clean with modern furniture. The shower is separate from the rest of the bathroom. Located in an alleyway and really quiet at night. Black out curtains to block the light out in the morning. Great location, right in the old quarter, next to St Joseph’s cathedral, and about 10 min to the lake. Lots of restaurants around.

Don’t stay here if you need any type of staff support. I needed to extend my stay by a day and couldn’t get a response via booking or WhatsApp. The desk is nearly always empty, so no one to raise issues with, they are hanging out at nearby businesses. Just nearly impossible to get in contact with someone. In the end I had to book another night via booking and finally got a response that I wouldn’t need to change rooms. Just unnecessarily difficult to manage the situation. The AC controller display didn’t work during my stay, so I had to guess which buttons to press to turn it on. They offer to hold your luggage for free but the room is just a random storage room on the ground floor and it’s not locked. With no one at the front desk nearly all the time, anyone could just walk in.

Really friendly and helpful staff. Booked us an airport taxi for the price of grab, then called them to come earlier as we were ready. Clean, bright room. Elevator so you don't have to use he stairs! Also a better size than most in SE Asia. Good AC. Fantastic location, next to loads of cafes, restaurants etc. definitely the best location and hotel we stayed in hanoi on a budget. Absolutely would book again and recommend to anyone with a few nights in Hanoi. You can't get to the hotel front by car, not a long walk at all but might impact less able bodied. They did kindly help with our bags when we left for the airport and I have no doubt they would help on arrival if asked if this would be a problem for you.

Spas across the street shout "massage sir, massage" every time you enter or leave the hotel.

Nice staff at reception. Great location, close to everything. Room is clean, full of natural light from balcony and window. There is long desk which is very convenient if you need to work with laptop.

There is no complimentary coffee, only tea bags. Some items (glass, cup) are not very clean but i didn't use though. Beds are too soft for me.

The location is perfect for a stay in Hanoi. It’s central in the old quarter and easy to walk to anywhere. It’s in a quiet little lane so no noise at night. Everything worked perfectly, and staff were super helpful helping to organise day trips and food recommendations.

The mattress could have been softer, but I’m used to a very soft bed so it’s more than fine.

We enjoyed our stay at Hanvet Boutique Hotel. We had a good, clean room at a very reasonable price. The hotel is situated on a narrow street, so traffic noise is minimal, even though it is in the very interesting Old Quarter of Hanoi. Many of the City's attractions are within easy reach. The staff in the hotel are great to deal with and helped with booking some excursions with them. If I return to Hanoi I will be happy to stay at the Hanvet, it was excellent value.

Martin was lovely when arriving to Hanvet! He and his staff are all very welcoming and helped us with all our bags! We also booked trips with this Hotel, such as: The Ha Giang Loop. It is an affordable and great stay for anyone who is exploring Hanoi!

I have been working in Vietnam for a while and I am super glad that my colleague found Hanvet Boutique Hotel! I have stayed here many times, each lasting several nights. I have thus tried every room in the hotel and I am very happy how comfortable and convenient it is. The location is amazing and the rooms are well equipped and spacious. The staff is extremely helpful and Martin always has the best recommendations for places to eat, shop, and see.

Nothing to complain

Great central location - quiet stay. Great shower with shower filter. But the best thing about Hanvet is Martin. Martin will help organise anything you need at great prices. He even helped us organise transport around Vietnam days after checking out of the hotel. Thanks again Martin for a great stay, we would definitely stay again!

The bed was a bit too firm for our liking!

The staff were friendly and helpful especially when I was feeling sick. It's a new hotel, everything worked well and it was clean. Being on a side street it was a bit quieter too which was lovely. The owner helped me with my bags to the car for my airport transfer too. Overall a really great place to stay

Once or twice I had to contact reception by phone/whatsapp because reception was unattended.
