It was prop owner Mrs. Dinh. Very friendly flexible helping and always wearing a smile on her face.

There was an instance where Mrs. Dinh the prop owner couldn’t manage massive number of bookings and my luggage was taken out of my room without my permission and was shifted to a 3 bed room. I had to share room with someone but I was comfortable considering he was a gentleman. But the way it was taken out wasn’t professional.

-wooden floor, -big room, -great position just next St. Joseph church, -a lot of cheap food and nice cafe and convenience stores around, -nice lady at the check-in.

-the bed is too hard but it's fine ...it is a common thing in East Asia..

Location was in the city center, very accessible to shops and restaurants. The owner, with her sister, were very friendly and accommodating. You can just approach them anytime for questions, they're there 24/7. Owner also upgraded our room, which was bigger than what we booked. Bathroom sink and shower has heater which were really important as we went on January during Hanoi's winter season. Owner offered us a car service which price was lot affordable than Grab, from their hotel to airport.

We got option to choose rooms, either second floor or fourth floor which we had to go by stairs only, and the deciding factor was fourth floor being bigger and having balcony, but there wasn't available view on the balcony as it was facing a wall of another building, and as having low stamina it's a bit difficult to climb a lot of stairs to reach this room. Water flow on the bidet was really low, but enough for the water at sink and shower. Bathroom was a bit small though. Room heater (from air-conditioner) wasn't enough especially during their winter season. There was this creepy corner near the cabinet, I just feel weird chills whenever I walk there 😳 sorry.

The owner is the sweetest and nicest lady in the world, sharing fruits every day with everyone. The girl at the reception also, nice and helpful. The location is absolutely fantastic and couldn't be better. I was afraid about the noise at night (I have a light sleep) and I requested a quiet room. I've been given a super quiet room! Wifi is also great. Everything was working properly. They can book buses and tours for you. It's clean and functional. Don't expect something fancy or modern but for the price you pay is a very good deal!

Since I spent 5 nights there, maybe my room could have been cleaned at least once??

The lady at the reception (owner, I assume) is very friendly and welcoming I came before check in time (8 am) and they let me check in early. The room I was supposed to be in wasn't ready at the time, so they upgraded me to a better room as well. The hotel is located in a small quiet street in the old quarter, right behind the St Josephs Cathedral. Most museums are in less than 20 minutes of walking, and Grab (taxi app) will get you there for roughly 25,000 VND. Museums are open 08:00 - 17:00, so plan accordingly for Jetlag and potentitial Ha Long Bay trips (they take up 2 or 3 days, depending on tour you take)

The only downside was no elevator, but most apartments are one floor above ground level

I end up staying there for couple of nights longer as I was waiting for my flight from Hanoi. Host is very accommodating, kept feeding me with traditional Vietnamese cooking from her kitchen, which wasn't advertised on booking. It was her own will. Location was great, tiny street in old quarter with street food around every corner. New AC Bed was clean and comfy, however I've booked a room with double bed and only one with twin beds was available. I not sure it's miscommunication with booking.com ( lack of updates,) or hosts fault but it's not the first time it happened to me.

Very old amenities ( leaking sink, shower head covered with limescale, dodgy electric sockets - it burned my vape within minute from connecting to charger) There is a window but it doesn't open as another building is right next to it so expect artificial light all day long Bathroom has no working fan Room key needs to be left on the counter in the hall, to where enyone can access, as the doors are open during the day Noise from the street food stalls

Really nice Hotel to stay in old quarter, the location is really nice. The owner is a very nice lady, the first night we arrived late and she was looking for us in the street. She gave us fruits every day and it was a pleasure to talk with her. She answers any question we had. We were lucky enough to get an upgrade of the room so we had a big room for a good price !! The room was spacious, clean and confortable. We recommend this hotel during your stay in Hanoi !! ☺️

Amazing stay, great location very comfy beds and the staff were lovely very welcoming and even upgraded free of charge. Perfect location for a quiet stay but still very central. Would definitely recommend.

The cleanliness could have been a bit better but that was the only thing

The rooms are actually nice as I did see the other ones, it’s just obvious I chose the cheapest so I got what I paid for. Still had air con and a bathroom and a bed which is all I needed. The owner of the place is lovely and invited me for lunch and made me Vietnamese food, she was always feeding me my whole time there and just being super welcoming. The location is probably the best I’ve seen, it’s right in the center of the rich foreign exchange student area but also still full of culture. Geographically it’s the best and close to everything.

There is a couple but it’s not worth mentioning when I was paying basically nothing to stay here so it makes sense. If you pay more you obviously get something way nicer.

We had a very pleasant stay thanks to the fantastic friendly owners that helped us with everything we needed 😊😊😊 especially the lady can speak a good English and was always soo helpful! We slept here on and off moving from Hanoi to the other northern destinations, they always took care of our luggage during our absence, they booked tickets for us, rented motorbike, made laundry, helped with tips about food and tourism in Hanoi. Always super super kind!! The room is ok, services are basic and so the bed and the toilet, but it’s fine considering the good price and the position. Exactly in the heart of Hanoi! Everything is at walking distance, fantastic bars and restaurants just few steps from the hotel! Thank you so much for your kindness and efforts!!
