I was upgraded in a family room for 4 people, unneccessary. Being alone it would have been better to upgrade me in a more comfortable room rather than a bigger room.. However it would be unfair to complain for an upgrade... Staff a bit pushy for excusions and hotel rating...

This is my third stay at this property, and I will keep returning because of the staff- they are like a second family away from home! They go above and beyond to make sure all your needs are met and more. The daily breakfast is 10/10, and has a lot of variety each day. The beds are comfy and the showers are hot, and the location cannot be beat. The staff gladly arranges transport or activities as needed.

We stayed here for around a week and had a lovely time. We only booked for a few days initially, but we decided to extend after we arrived. Its super close to St Joseph's and there are plenty of restaurants and shops around the hotel. The hotel itself is in a lovely quiet side street, whilst still be very central. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were so helpful and friendly. We always had hot water and the housekeeping was good. Breakfast had several options and the reception team were so helpful. We left something there when we checked out and they were so helpful sending it to Malaysia for us. We didn't use the service, but the reception team can also arrange tours for you if needed.

The only reason I gave 9 instead of 10 is that there was some work being done when we were there, which meant there was a bit of banging during the afternoons. This wouldn't bother some people, but we have young kids who nap, so it affected their routine a bit.

The staff is super friendly and helpful. Book any day trips or activities with them. The price is good and they arrange everything into detail. The hotel is centrally located, close to the cathedral and hence super easy to use as a starting point to hotspots in Hanoi. They also arrange transportation.

On first arrival it was a bit difficult to find. The taxi dropped me off at the main road and Google Maps wasn't very accurate. You can't access the front entrance by car. The bathroom door handle was worn out and the bathroom floor was slippery. Luckily I brought flip flops to safely take a shower.

Boutique hotel near Old Quarter, good location. Breakfast is quite delicious. Room and bathroom was spacious for 4 of us. Location near the popular Cathedral & plenty of eateries nearby. They provide Hanoi tour, which I appreciate so much. I registered for City Tour, Ninh Binh & Ha Long Bay Tour. Their staffs were very caring, helpful, informative and they speak english well. too many stairs and too narrow space at entrance and breakfast lounge area with short ceilings and less varieties of breakfast food available. the room door need to be upgraded as our key caught in the lock few times & unable to unlock.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The location is absolutely perfect, making it easy to explore the city and get around. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, with plenty of options to start the day right. Everything was kept very clean and well maintained, which made the stay even more comfortable. But what really stood out to me was the incredible staff – always friendly, smiling, and genuinely helpful. They went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, and that truly made the difference. Thanks to all of the Staff ! I forget some names but than to Mr Brian, Mr John and Mr Harry ! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area, and I would definitely come back without hesitation!

This is my fourth stay at this property, and the staff have come to feel like family over the years. I cannot recommend this property enough! It is safe, quiet, in a lovely alley that feels like home, the breakfast is amazing delicious with lots of variety, the staff go out of their way to make you happy and comfortable and even go the extra mile to help find souvenirs and give recommendations or book services, the location is perfect and close to everything in the old quarter, the beds are comfy, and the water in the shower is nice and hot. Would definitely recommend staying here and will be back!

We stayed in this hotel during our recent stay in Hà Nội, it is tucked down a small alley away from the madness of the old quarter. It is perfectly located and within walking distance of the many Hà Nội sights. The room was more than sufficient for our needs during our short stay. The staff in this hotel are first class, they are super friendly and go the extra mile to help you out and be of assistance. One night we returned to our room around 20.30 to find that we had a burst hose leading to the toilet and water pouring all over the floor. The staff were onto the problem and it was resolved within an hour by calling out their technician and everything was cleaned up super quick- great service. This is a good hotel but the staff make it a great hotel.

Breakfast was not very good and felt a bit chaotic due to the space limitations. I appreciate that the hotel can do nothing about this but the hotel is located very close to Hà Nội cathedral and we had a room looking onto the rear of the church. Unfortunately the cathedral rings its bells every 15 minutes from about 0500 to 2200. You get used to it but it can be a bit annoying.

My stay here was spectacular. It was a bit hard to find but when I called the facility, they sent someone to find me and walk to the hotel. Kimmie, was a welcomed sight. Helped me pick excisions and spa packages. My hot water was not working and she immediately reminded the situation. Breakfast was amazing. My excision was canceled because of the weather and Kimmie made sure I made it back same night safely. Jacky Hoi ensures a swift discharge and helped me arrange airport taxi services. Amazing person!

The hotel wasn't quite what I expected, with the rooms more dressed in the photos. However it was wonderful. I've seen some negative reviews re the rooms and both myself and my friend stayed in the interconnected hotel. There are a few hotels on one side of the street you have the star grand and another is attached. Both rooms were clean and very comfortable. It was a quiet location which meant we slept well. The staff do try to sell you trips but why not?! Buy them if you wish,we did and it saved us searching around plus we enjoyed them. Kimmie also suggested a way to Ninh Bin for us, going on a trip and then being dropped at our next hotel. This worked out perfectly. She also booked us the overnight train to Hue, booking a VIP room for 2. Excellent customer service. Thank you.

Breakfast wasn't as good as in some other hotels but that's a personal preference. There was lots to select, but it would have been nice to have someone who cooked eggs for you as we had in previous hotels. Just a suggestion.
