The hotel room is clean, spacious, bright ambiance. The staff is approachable, especially Phuong and Huyen, whenever we need something they always tried their best especially when I looked for cake for my friend and when I looked for white rice!! Haha. We also forgot our souvenirs gifts when we went out but they secured it for us. We are very thankful! Really!

We had a wonderful stay at the Pilgrim Hotel. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, especially Binh and Ms Lee! Binh was so caring and relatable, and he really looked after us. Ms Lee was always so warm and generous, offering us everything from "Happy New Year" treats and beer to expert restaurant and Ha Long Bay Tour advice (having worked on a boat there for a number of years herself)! Her generosity and kind heart made us feel very welcome at the hotel. Our room was spacious, and perfect for 3 friends, with a good fan. The location was perfect, with many delicious local food and drink joints nearby. It felt peaceful and clean, and it was a nice oasis from the loud traffic while still being in the heart of Hanoi. We loved our stay here!

The A/C smelled bad when we turned it on so we opted not to use it. The bathroom was decent, but we have stayed in hotels with better ones. Note that if you don't want a cold shower, you have to turn the hot water on with a switch outside the bathroom, and you will see a light go on.

I stayed here for a few days in Hanoi and had such an amazing experience. First the hotel was located centrally in Old Quarter and accessible to most tourist spots by foot. Around it are amazing places for dinning, shops, spas and everything you need. The room I got is quite big compared to others of the same price range and has an amazing view of the cathedral. Spotless rooms and no issues with the facilities (wifi, bathroom, cleaning, etc) But what stood out for me is my experience with the staff specially Ms Lee and Team Phuong Linh Silas. They were there for me througout the trip giving me recommendations on where to eat, helping me with bookings for tours, train rides and even taking me to the best spa treatment I got in Hanoi. They always greet you with a smile in the morning and everytime you get back from a tour. Its like getting back to you own home. One thing I also need to mention is the honesty! When I left and transferred to a different place, I forgot a huge amount of cash in the room. As soon as they discovered it, i got a call and my money was secured and was returned to me immediately. Kudos to Ms Lee and your team. Definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Location is very good, in the heart of old town. And the street is calm and pretty. The room was clean and comfortable. The highlight of the hotel was the staff. Silas was amazing. He was very hospitable, friendly, polite, and very good at his job. He helped us with everything and we felt very welcome.

The location is fantastic. It’s right in old quarter and walking distance to many attractions and great places to eat. The air con is nice and the room was quiet. Having fresh sheets and towels was also lovely.

The shower was in an awkward position as the drain was across the room. The whole bathroom got wet when showering.

My family and i had a wonderful stay at the philgrim hotel. A big thank you to Long,who help us find a ride; Fung is very sweet and accomodating; Ms Lee who is so sweet and help us in getting the phone back that my cousin left in the car. And Silas, who help us alot with me and my family's airport transfers. The room is clean big and spacious. Bed is comfortable to sleep. Water pressure is strong. Location is perfectly located and just walking distance to alot of places. Wifi signal is strong. The cathedral bell didn't bother us as it serve as our alarm clock in the moring. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Hanoi and will recommend this hotel to our friends and family.

Superb situation situated within the bells of St Joseph's Cathedral. Many attractions within walking distance and plentiful supply of eating places and cafes and close to Hoan Kiem Lake Park. Large room with comfortable bed and double sliding glass doors leading onto balcony and pleasant views of street and St Joseph. Bathroom also good with floor drying quickly after shower.

Some mainteance issues needed attention

The room looks just like in the picture, pretty, clean, spacious and comfortable. Awesome price for such location, right behind the Big Church, in a beautiful alley with cool vibes.

Very near to the Big Church. Clean and spacious room with kettle. One review said there was church bell early in morning but we didn’t hear any church bell. Location was great. Many food stalls and restaurants and fashion shops and a supermarket nearby. We bought the durain pia from this supermarket and it was delicious. Location was great we did our own walking tour to Train street and then to Dong Xuan market. Shopping at Dong Xuan market was great. Snacks and coffees as souvenirs were a few cents cheaper than the supermarket.

The aircon was a bit noisy but we could sleep through the night though. Our room faced the street but the murmurs of people from the streets were very soft and not disturbing. About 10 pm on, it was totally quiet. Some water seeped out from shower screen which made the supposed to be dry area wet.
